When he started looking for someone to help heal his broken heart, Wilson Curtis never dreamed he’d find two someones.

After Wilson Curtis was publicly outed, his restaurant business left in tatters, and dumped by his closeted boyfriend, he goes to Key West alone. There he meets Simon Stanford and Adam Preston. Fascinated by this couple, he is soon invited into their bed for some holiday fun.
But once isn’t enough, and the offer is extended for the remainder of his stay. As they get to know each other, in and out of the bedroom, sparks fly, and ten days is all it takes to change their lives.
When it comes time for Wil to leave, with tensions closing in and time running out, tempers flare and emotions fray. Beneath the physical attraction and the foolish misunderstandings is the realization these three men aren’t ready to say goodbye.
Wil soon learns that love isn’t always conventional, and the only thing better than giving your heart to one man, is giving it to two.

It’s a perfect holiday book: perfect for a hot summer day – except it is so full of hotness that you could get dangerously overheated… ;)

Sweet story with distinguishable and utterly lovable characters, steamy sex scenes, and dirty fun.

Enjoyable first-person narrative (so rare!), well-paced plot, many laugh-out-loud, as well as heart-stirring moments make this romance a real winner. (It’s kind of insta-love, but I really didn’t mind!)

I loved Adam’s cheerfulness and openness, Simon’s quiet and steady devotion, Wil’s shyness and cuteness, and his wonderment to things he had never experienced before. It was a delight to follow how he reacted and experienced all those ‘firsts’, and how he became confident and open about his sexuality.

No angst, no unnecessary drama in this novel, only easily manageable conflicts. No cheesiness, just pure romance.

Highly recommended to M/M and poly-romance fans – you’ll love it!
It wasn’t that the fairy tale ended that day. It just made this relationship real. It wasn’t a game. It wasn’t a holiday fling. It was real. Real hearts on the line, real love at stake.

Three’s Company is a sweet and super steamy story about three men- Wil, Adam and Simon.

Just as his home life is falling apart, Wil comes on vacation to a resort in Key West. Living in the south, in a town thats not gay friendly, life hasn’t been easy for him lately. After spending a few days there, a fun and flirty bartender catches his eye. Adam is blonde, cute and carefree. His partner Simon who manages the hotel is dark, handsome and more serious. Together, they proposition Wil. It was just supposed to be one night between the three of them. One night turned into one week, and then those pesky feelings got involved.
I could be falling for them. Not one of them. Not just Adam, not just Simon. But both of them. Them. I didn't want to think about how my heart thumped differently when I saw them, how my skin tingled when they were near, or how the very thought of them made me smile. How I'd never experienced anything like it before. So fast, so intense. So very real.

This was a menage story, and even though there was sex- lots and lots of hot sex, there was an actual story. I felt a connection to all three of the main characters. I loved how different they all were. They had a connection that wasn’t just sexual. Each cared about the other and their feelings.

I read this book in one sitting, cover to cover. It was a quick read, had some humor, lots of sweet and even more heat! Damn… it was a hot one! I love menage scenes and this was my first that was m/m/m- usually I read m/m/f. It didn’t let me down. The writing was great, the characters were lovable and the story was fun. I give it a solid 4, maybe 4.5 stars!

Goodness, this was fluffy and sweet brain candy, typical N.R. Walker: a lot of telling vs. showing (narrating scenes in the past tense: This happened, and then he said that, and then that happened), vague sketching of the setting, slightly one-dimensional characters, and a whole lot of happy, happy, joy, joy, joy.

There was something surreal about the insta love and bonding between the narrator, Wil, and the couple he meets while on vacation, Adam and Simon (who both work at the gay Key West resort where Wil is staying). Wil's been in the closet his entire life and was just outed in a very homophobic small Southern town, losing his "boyfriend" and essentially his restaurant in the process. Within two weeks, however, he's in love and thinking of staying in Florida. And within four weeks, he's making major financial investments and talking about forever. It all just moved so fast that the relationship didn't feel developed or believable.

I could try to compare this to the brilliant Broken Pieces , but, well, there is no comparison.

I don't believe a menage relationship would be this easy or that homophobes can be chased away so effortlessly.

But that's ok. I liked this book nonetheless. It was fun and sort of mindless. There's a place in the world for books like this. It's a feel-good book when you just can't take any more angst. It made me smile. And sometimes that's enough.

~THREE IS NEVER A CROWD~

What a cute ass story this was. If you know me, then you know that I love a ménage story but not just any type of ménage story. I have to believe that the guys can make a relationship work, and it gets extra tricky when there’s already an established couple. Feelings can get hurt and the new guy can feel left out, this story created a nice balance.

Wilson is a chef and very much in the closet in his small town. When he’s outed and the man he thought as his lover leaves him to deal with the hate all alone. He needs a vacation to clear his head and come to the realization that because of his sexuality the place he called home can no longer be.

Sunshine and Sexy is what Wilson gets and the sexy comes x2. Simon and Adam are already in a committed relationship, but they like to bring in a third every now and then for a little play, but it’s never for anything serious. So when Wilson kicks his way into their world, it becomes quite clear that this is no longer a couple and their third, these 3 men can make a full committed relationship work. While being out and proud is all so new to Wilson he knows this is the life he’s meant to live, him and the 2 men he’s fallen in love with.

Seriously, this was fucking cute as hell. Almost zero conflict and really low on angst and hella sexy. I was there for all of it!!

This was my second book read by N.R Walker and man do I have serious plans to read more. So much more!!

Everything changed for Wilson (Wil) when everyone from his small town discovered that he is gay. Most of them are not so happy to have a gay man in their community, but that’s not all. His business is in tatters and his asshole boyfriend who is in the closet dumps him, cause he wants to remain in the closet. They planned to go in Key West to enjoy the beach and to stay at a gay-friendly hotel, so Wil decide to go alone because he needs a break from the reality and enjoy his vacation.

In Key West, he meets the hot bartender from the hotel, Adam and his boyfriend Simon who is the manager. Both of them are friendly and very hot, so when they make Wil a proposition – to spend one night together – Wil can’t refuse.

“I'd never known anything like it.
Two mouths on me, four hands, two bodies surrounding me, devouring me, consuming me. The push and pull, the desire.”

Of course, one night is not enough, so they agree to be together one more week, until Wil will go back home.

description

They spend every night together, but they get to know each other too. What was supposed to be just sex, becomes more when feelings got involved.

“It wasn't a game. It wasn't a holiday fling. It was real. Real hearts on the line, real love at stake.”

In the end what will Wil choose? To be alone in a town when nobody wants him with a failed business or the two men?

description

I really liked this one! It was light, sweet, super sexy and funny at times. It really had everything. I don’t know if the premise is very credible, but I didn’t care. The sex between those three men was too HOT to care for something else. The story is predictable, yes, but for a cute, comfort read it was really enjoyable.

I liked all three men and I liked that all three have different personalities. Adam and Simon are great together, they love each other and welcome Wil, not only in their bed, but in their lives too. I liked how they did that. I loved the fact Adam tries to give Wil what he had missed in his hometown. (kissing in public places, holding hands, etc.). He was such a sweetheart! Simon is the serious one. He’s more quiet, he's sexy and I liked him too. I liked how he is with both Adam and Wil.

There’s definitely insta-lust here, but it didn’t bother me. The sex between them was smokin’. Hot and intense or tender and sweet it was fantastic.

There’s no angst or stupid unnecessary drama, which I liked very much.

All in all, a great menage story!

Ok, firstly; big peeve. The 263 pages in the listing seems more than a little off to me. It's 2440 kindle locations.

Recently I read Hemovore which is listed as 197 pages, and which is 5271 kindle locations. Physical Therapy is 152 pages, and 4074 kindle locations. These two books match page count with location number almost perfectly. After the Sunset is 174 pages and 5379 locations. By the previous ratio, it's actually 200 pages; so, more read than advertised. In comparison, Three's Company would be measured as having 91 pages, which seems to mesh with my reading experience.

I would never have bought it if it was listed as having 91 pages, and I am mightily pissed off.

Secondly, it is very uneven. As you'd expect from a 91 page book, there is only a teeny tiny plot, which is cute and sweet and telegraphed ahead of time appropriately. So this book is about the sex. Sadly the sex/plot ratio is too high. I was over the sex scenes by half way through, but Walker saved some goodies for last. Plus, menage sex = yum!

The immediate advantage of menage sex is either the DP scene, or the spitroast. Both of these are in the book, but Walker is curiously coy about them.

From the MC asking for DP, to the conclusion of the act, is 1/3 of a page. Desire, Anticipation, Fulfillment, Afterglow, in 158 words. I counted. Does this seem weird to you?

The spitroast is worse! Here's the whole thing:

And with four drinks and raw lust holding my inhibitions hostage, I told them they should take me home and fuck me. I needed both of them; one in my ass, one down my throat. Anyway they wanted to, they could have me, however they wanted, as many times as they needed. And so, God help me, that's exactly what they did.

On the other hand, some sex is well-written, like Simon's first time with penetration. Three lovely, sexy, and romantic pages.

So, that's all there is in the book to talk about. The sex and the page count. That's the entire recipe. I find that somewhat disappointing.

If you'd like your slightly-bland-with-spots-of-yum menage-sex set at a beach resort, this is a good book. It's not a 263-page book.

EDIT: I just realised this is a Silver Publishing book. That's it for them from me. Honestly, the page count thing, on top of not paying their authors? I'm done.

Haven't read a MMM book in a while, and…Well, this was something. N.R. Walker, damn! 🔥 Pretty straightforward (pun intended), sizzling sexy times that left me breathless.😮‍💨 But also full of loving moments! And FUUUUUUUUUN!

We have Simon and Adam, an established couple who live and run a hotel in the Keys and are always looking for a fun escape, and a guest, Wilson or newly baptized, Wil, who, after being outed in his hometown, finds himself alone when his lover ends things. 💔 He’s a chef, and the homophobic town sabotages his business. The search ends when they meet, and the fun begins!

There’s also a very sweet and lovely side to this. 🥰 The way Simon and Adam, even without realizing it, invite Wil into something deeper than just fun really stood out to me. And Wil, so lonely and never having experienced open, genuine love before, made it all the more touching. I really loved that. Set in the stunning Key West, the aesthetic couldn’t be more perfect, adding to the beauty of their connection. 🌴🌊✨🌞

The boys:
Simon’s commanding voice, every word sending shivers down everyone’s spine. 😏Adam? That wild, uncontainable energy? It’s like throwing gasoline on an already blazing fire. 🔥 And Wil… who was only used and never appreciated in the past, finally being a priority and the center of attention. That dancefloor scene? Permanent resident of my sexy folder. Their first time together? Locked away in my smut vault with a "handle with caution" sign. 🚨 Honestly, it’s a good thing they’re surrounded by all that ocean—otherwise, the heat they’re generating could cause a wildfire.

Their bond was strong, and I felt it throughout the book as it grew into something more. Loved that even before this became “the thing” there were already rules: nothing without the three of them together. LOVED THAT!

In real life, I know a relationship like this wouldn’t be so simple. There’s so much alignment to achieve, and at any moment, something could go wrong. And it’s nothing they could decide in 10 days. But this is a book, and I choose to cheer for them—for their happiness—without overanalyzing it too deeply. I choose hypothetical easy reality, to boring real life!

Dislikes:
The hunt for a third. I would have preferred if Adam and Simon were experiencing this for the first time, rather than just an itch to scratch. If the click just happened, it would have made the relationship stronger in my opinion.
While being super hot, there’s so much sex, like all the time… I’m surprised they don’t get glued together… After a while it’s like a checklist of what to do. It was a bit repetitive, I think in the end it lacked intimacy.
I have a few more issues, but I had a great time, burned some calories and that's it!

I had one arm around Simon and the other around Adam, and they each had an arm around me. The three of us stood against one another, kissing and holding for all we were worth. We’d swap mouths, kiss down necks, hold a little tighter and kiss a little harder.
Kissing them together, being with them together, was right.
It felt natural and real. And perfect.

I absolutely loved seeing Wil happy, free to love, be loved openly and be himself, that made my heart sing with these two beautiful men. ✨

I've had this book on my radar for a very long time.
On the one hand I was intrigued by it, but on the other, the blurb put me off a bit.

To begin with, I LOVE MM+ stories, whether it's 3, 4, 5 or more guys, I totally dig such relationships, as long as the men come together and get to know each other (I still recall very fondly my all time favorite MMMMMM series by Jana Downs: His Guardian Angels, Angel Bound).

However, I have bit of a problem with an established couple picking up a third. It just doesn't work for me in romance. The whole discussion of 'oh no, you're not the third wheel' is hellishly awkward.

I also stopped short during a moment at the very end when the three were discussing their equality and one of them thought he wasn't as equal as the other two and Wil said that without Adam, he and Simon wouldn't be together if it was just the two of them.

I mean, what kind of logic is that? So, if one of the three dies, the other two would split up because they only work when it's three? Jesu. No matter from which perspective these three guys were discussing and approaching their three-way relationship, it didn't fully work for me.

However, I absolutely loved the final 20%.

But first things first: The plot.

Wilson Curtis was outed in his Alabama hometown where he runs his own restaurant. His equally closeted cop boyfriend didn't speak up for him, so Wil left the town and the now ex-boyfriend behind to spend two weeks in Florida on what would have been a couples' vacation, if his boyfriend hadn't let him down.

And apparently, this particular town in Alabaman is a bit different than the small towns we often find in romances, because it's not only NOT gay-friendly, it is homophobic to a degree where Wil needs to fear that he cannot run his restaurant any longer once he returns.

So he's in this gay-friendly hotel in Key West, where - right upon his arrival - the hotel manager and the bartender (who are a couple) invite him into their bed for a bit of three-way fun.

Simon and Adam are one of those couples who regularly pick up a third man to have fun with. The dynamic between them isn't fully explained at the beginning, but once they partner up with Wil - first for fun, then for love, it becomes clearer that Wil is somewhat of a counterweight between the stoic businessman Simon and his chatty and emotional boyfriend Adam.

So in combination, the three men did make sense.

What I didn't like in this book was the way Simon and Adam were predatory in their search for a third guy. And the resulting sex felt like working through a porn script with great care not to forget a single sexual position that is only possible with three guys.

But what I did enjoy greatly were the later moments when they considered each other boyfriends and were faced with an obstacle that threatened their hotel.

I found it fascinating to see all three of them meeting Simon's parents and being open about what they were to each other.

And I simply LOVED the scene where Simon's dad spoke up against the homophobic investor. That was truly a powerful moment.

But I did feel sorry for the ex-boyfriend Rod... I mean, that guy was basically a tragically closeted small town romance character himself. And his boyfriend ditched him for life with two other guys in a gay metropolis. Sure, he made a mistake by not speaking up at home, but coming all the way to Florida to ask his man to come home and then being dismissed like a piece of trash? I'm sad about that.
I also liked the background story of Rod and Wil meeting and finding each other. Would have made for an interesting romance in itself.

All in all, it was a very controversial story for me. I found it interesting, but it did not push all my buttons.

3.5 stars!

I don't know what took me so long to pic up this book from my TBR list!

I loved it! It's a perfect story of three gorgeous men! Two of them are a couple, and then the third one goes on vacation to where the couple works! And then magic happens! They fall in love... they start a beautiful relationship, full of love, tenderness, care and super hot sex!!! That's right... fabulous threesomes that took my breath away!

Wil, Simon and Adam are my favorite love triangle!

I know that this book is not for sale anymore, but if, eventually it is re-released, don't miss the chance to read it!

I love menages!!!! I love N.R. Walker's books!!! What more can I say??!!!

I just did another reread, it is still very much worth reading ( or rereading) for all ménage fans.

Review from 3 Nov 2012

I've got a thing for ménage stories...what can I say?
Anyway..Wil has lived in Bumkintown, Alabama ( no it's called something else, but since I don't remember this works) all his life, he owns the home he inherited from his deceased parents and his own restaurant.
He was outed and now his very closeted boyfriend( if you can call him that, maybe more of a fuckbuddy) won't even look at him and no one will eat in his restaurant.
So, he takes the vaca he was going to take with said boyfriend alone to a gay friendly hotel in Key West.
There he meets fun, smiling and happy barkeeper Adam and the more serious hotel manager Simon. They are in a relationship but want Wil during his stay.
What starts out as a three way to just have fun and blow off some steam turns serious.
There is no angst or real conflict in this story but it was a feel good sexy story with three really different and sweet guys.
There are some small niggles and very obvious tropes but I still liked this m/m/m a lot and wished it had been a bit longer!

It was a pure MAGIC and complete JOY!

Three gorgeous men not just fall in love...

So very real.

...they start a beautiful relationship full tenderness, love, care and scorching hot sex.

Underneath me, on top of me, inside of me, inside of him. It was a pleasure like I'd never known. So… complete. There was no other word for it. Complete.

The story took my breath way. In a very pleasant way... Highly recommended if you love MMM books as much as I do.

First read November 2012. Re-read 11/3/2014. ** sigh** I still adore this story. One of my all time favourites! Thanks Mandy for reminding me to give this little diamond a revisit.

Threes a charm with this story. Its the third book I've read from NR Walker, the third book I've loved by her and the third book that gets 5 well deserved stars- its also got three wonderfull characters who I fell for hook, line and sinker and its one of, if not, the best menage stories I've ever read! I can't see anyone who loves m/m romance not liking this book, its got everything going for it from page one. I've said in each review that what I really enjoy about her stories is the ability to make you believe in the concept of love at first sight or instalove between her protags, not a lot of stories pull this off very well . The fact that these three gorgeous guys could meet, fall in love and set up a loving relationship in the space of a few weeks sounds too fantastical, or too good to be true but Ms Walker has the ability to make her characters honest, credible and totally believable and when they are all together in a scene (not just love scenes ) the chemistry is palpable and I could almost physically feel the emotions growing between all of them. Wil, bless him, is a lost soul looking for love and self purpose after his closeted lover let's him down badly and his restaraunt begins to suffer after he is outed, and Adam and Simon, who are already in a solid loving relationship, are the two pieces of his missing puzzle and end up completing him, and ultimately themselves. I never doubted that this loving relationship wouldn't work for the three of them and that's what makes this particular love triangle work. Unbelievably sexy but not gratuitous, this was endearing, charming, sensual, and uber-romantic without being 'sickly sweet'. The epilogue ( vey satisfying scene with the crappy ex Rod! ) rounds it all off perfectly. So enjoyable I want to start it all over again. Can I give this 10 stars?

What a lovely low-angst MMM story! And it had this relaxed holiday feeling.

description

Wil takes a trip to Key West to get away from his problems at home. He lives in a bigoted town and has been outed. Now no one wants to eat in his restaurant anymore and his secret ‘boyfriend’ broke things off because he doesn’t want to be outed as well.

So when Wil arrives at the hotel he feels sad and has no idea how to enjoy his vacation. Of course he didn’t expect Adam. Adam sees Wil and just wants him. Wil is surprised to find Adam hitting on him, when he saw Adam with his boyfriend Simon. But as soon as Simon joins them Wil finds out Adam and Simon both chose him for some extra fun.

But one hot night isn’t enough and it’s not long before they decide to spend Wil’s whole vacation together. But what happens when Wil has to leave…

I loved these guys. I loved how Wil was the shy one, Adam the adorable happy one and Simon the more responsible one. They just fit.

Yes, Adam and Simon were a couple before Wil joined them, but I never felt as if he was the outsider. They loved each other all equally. Wil immediately asked they all follow a rule. Only sex with the three of them. If two were together then they could just kiss or do blowjobs.

The sex scenes were HOT! And we got a lot of Daisy Chains. Oh, and we got DP! This made pervy me very happy.

I have to say I'm a bit surprised at how much I loved this one. I went in with some trepidation, I've never read a M/M/M book before. I wasn't sure if it would work me. I was afraid one character would feel left out or insecurities/misunderstandings would be the main focal point of the story and that really wasn't the case. NR Walker did a great job developing their relationship.

This is the story of three very different men finding something special in each other. Reading it unfold was somethin' else (extra panties, significant other or BOB,and batteries required for this one). This book is low angst, emotional, and sweet. I would definitely recommend this one! 4.5 Scorching Hot Stars! ♥

This was a sweet menage story.

Wil was outed back home in Alabama and instead of enjoying a holiday with his closeted boyfriend, he was dumped and he's on vacation by himself.

He's chatted up by the cute bartender and invited to join him and his partner, the hotel manager, in a bit of holiday fun. Wil's incredibly attracted to both men so he accepts and the three of them share a night that stretches out to last most of Wil's holiday. There are misunderstandings galore here and hurt feelings as well as a parallel story about a homophobic land developer.

This was deliciously hot and I know I said sweet already but I'll say it again. I found Wil adorable and the men he chose did as well. I liked this read and I liked how things worked out.

am I distracting myself from my university exams and the release of Long game by reading random books that pops on my GR feed without even reading the blurb?

yes

however, I am surprisingly loving the mmm romances recently. I’m going to be stalking many of my GR friends so if you see me rating some of your favorite mmm books : it’s not a coincidence. ✋

I love NR WALKER so it’s no surprise that this worked for me. I don’t really have much to say about it because it was fun and short and nothing special lol

I enjoyed 'Point of No Return' by this author, and thought I would take a look at this one. I really loved this story.

Wilson (Wil) is a young gay chef, living life in the closet in homophobic small town Alabama. He owns his own restaurant, and is doing pretty well. His boyfriend Rod is a policeman, and due to the anti-gay pressure of the surroundings, is even further in the closet than Wil. He cannot and will not come out of the closet because of his job, so when Wil is outed by bigots, he leaves him to face the music by himself and refuses to go on the holiday that the two of them had planned to a gay-friendly hotel in Key West, Florida. Wil turns up at the resort alone, and is soon befriended by Adam (the bartender) and his boyfriend Simon (the resort manager). In the spirit of being 'neighbourly', Adam and Simon show Wil around, invite him to share their bed, and generally make him start to enjoy being in Key West guilt-free, which is obviously SO different from Alabama. Everything is going really well on the holiday until Simon starts falling in love with Wil (and the feeling is mutual) even though it is abundantly clear he still also loves Adam. Wil keeps checking in with his one friend Callie back in small town Alabama and discovers that his restaurant business is going to pieces because people think they might 'catch gayness' by eating there! As things are going so well in Florida (the small 'hiccup' of them all falling in love with each other being resolved by them all moving in together), Wil decides to sell his restaurant to Callie (going home to seal the deal and seeing Rod in the process but not even acknowledging that he exists), starts 'cheffing' at the hotel (the chef in residence obligingly blotting his copy book once too often), but because all three men are working at different times at the hotel, the menage seems to work very well.

Of course there is a sub-plot in the background (homophobic developer buying up all sorts of property just to stop them being used by gay men), and I felt that that part of the story was a little bit obvious - said dastardly villain decides he wants to buy the hotel where our guys are. The hotel's owners decide that they would like to think about selling the hotel to said homophobic developer, which would of course mean that our guys would be out of a job and home. Simon brings his father into the equation (he of course happens to be a millionaire businessman) and they all hatch a plot to buy the hotel themselves, and ruin the developer's plans. This does of course work thank goodness. The best part for me was Rod turning up completely out of the blue six months down the line at the end of the book and seriously expecting Wil to return to Alabama with him and a life back in the closet. Of course, as Simon, Adam and Wil were on their way out to the local Pride rally at the time, this was an extremely silly thing to do, and needless to say he stood there looking like someone who'd stepped in something extremely unpleasant while they all ignored him. Great scene.

I think they had a threesome in almost every chapter 😅🤣. Will went from a closeted gay guy to a full blown one lol. I think it’s a good read and it’s entertaining although it became a bit dull later on, the seggs was getting too repetitive as well.

The spicy scenes were so hot. The guys were like hamburgers 🍔

I like how the chemistry felt so right between all of them. I don’t like polygamy but this one was definitely something. Simon, Adam and Will. Adam is hilarious. Simon is intelligent and caring. Will is understanding and a an amazing chef.

I loved the three main characters, and the depth, and the hotness... but maybe it's just me, but love isn't as easy as "sure, I'll just sell everything I own back at home and live here from now on, it'll be easy-peasy"

But I still enjoyed it. :)

4.25*

I read this book when it was originally published and am very happy that it has found a new home and has been rereleased.
(I didn't notice any significant differences between the two editions.)

My love for all things m/m/m had me rereading this one, and I still love it, probably more than when I first read it.

Wil's life has been changed irrevocably changed. One comment and his place in the community and his business are in tatters and he's lost his very closeted lover too.

“How my life in Dalton had gone to hell. My quiet, peaceful, boring, closeted life wasn’t so closeted anymore.
How one comment was all it had taken to end everything.”

So, why shouldn't he go on the vacation they had planned? He just goes alone.

The gay friendly hotel on Key West is exactly the place for Wil to figure out where to go from here.
And talk about making changes. He goes from living so deep in the closet he couldn't see the door to being able to kiss, dance and hold hands with a man and no one blinks.
Adam and Simon live and work together at the hotel and invite Wil into their lives and their bed for the duration of his vacation.

“They were an interesting couple, not that I was any kind of expert on gay couples, but it was easy to tell they adored each other. There was always a quick kiss, a touch on the arm, a smile. It was something I’d never experienced, and I envied them that. It really was beautiful to watch.”

One of the difficulties in ménage stories is making each man unique enough that it's easy to tell the difference between them, the author did a great job of that in this one.
They are so different and yet complimentary that it was easy for me to tell them apart and to picture them, separately and together.
It's told completely from Wil's POV but I was able to see Simon and Adam as he does, and I was just as smitten as he is. And *fans self* I thought the sex and foreplay was hot !

But not everything goes smoothly. There are issues between the men and also some outside stress, but it's pretty low on the angst-meter. It's a bit idealistic maybe, but I don't care, I love when things work out and there is a great HEA. This is definitely a sweet, feel-good read that left me smiling and I'm sure I will read it again and again.

“And is love only for two people?” he retorted. I thought about that for a moment. Despite the preconceived idea of what a relationship is—or should be—I could now see just how happy three people could be. “No, I guess it’s not.”

FEEL GOOD X2!
Really liked this! A menage that is a light-hearted one. A nice read!

I'm going to be honest, the first time I read this, I got bored with the first few paragraphs and I left it to read other books. Good thing I came back to this. I think this is most light hearted out of the M/M/Ms I've read so far.

I liked the story in this one. It was engrossing enough for me.

The sex in this was HOT!!! That's why I love reading menages. Threesomes are very hot. And this was also hot. Really hot... :D

I liked Wil. But I find his characterization sometimes conflicting. He was supposed to be naive, but he easily accepted the threesome offer Simon & Adam offered to him. Simon & Adam's characterizations were better IMO.

Overall I liked it. I love that it's not just a PWP (I was worried it was because of all the sex in the beginning of the book.), it has a good story and it touched homophobia as well. What Wil have gone through in his hometown was UNACCEPTABLE. :D

A RECOMMENDED read! Especially for M/M/M and N.R. Walker fans! :D

A very enjoyable, sexy, mostly light menage story, with an established couple, Simon and Adam, bringing in a third, Wil, for what is expected to be some fun while he is on vacation. Soon the three are inseparable and, of course, feelings begin to get involved.

I really enjoyed watching the previously closeted Wil experiencing the life he had been denied in his homophobic small town. There was a bit of drama, misunderstanding and tension that moved the story along nicely without being drawn out, but I got everything I wanted out of an N.R. Walker book.

4 stars!! Great read from N.R Walker and a very believable three-some book.. 😍🔥.
Recently "outed" Alabama native Wil flees to Key West for a 2 week vacation to escape his homophobic small town and rapidly deteriorating career as a chef. While staying at a picturesque hotel he meets the manager Simon and bartender Adam who stay on the property and are a couple (who sometimes invite a third into their bed) 😉. There is instant attraction between the three and they all jump into bed expecting a temporary fling while Wil is in town. However, chemistry leads to feelings and complications. Despite some challenges, the trio is able to resolve the mis-communication and career issues and find their HEA.
The sex scenes are wonderfully HOT.... 🔥🔥🔥, the plot easy and mostly low-angst with things resolved fairly easily. The only issue I had was that we only get one POV and that was from Wil. We had a snippet from Simon but nothing from Adam. It would have been nice to get their perspectives too. Nevertheless, it's a sizzling Hot MMM book which I highly recommend.

It felt like too much crammed into a book that should have an additional 100 pages to give it more depth. I loved the relationship, I loved that it didn't always go easy...but I'm used to getting more from this author when it comes to exploring emotion. Also, I wasn't all that fond of the "all 3 only" sex rule and needed a better explanation than was given. Each of the couples should have time together to strengthen bonds and that can't happen if all you're "allowed" when with only 1 of your partners is blow-jobs. Somehow it cheapens the experience as a sexual release only...

This was a cute, sweet and very sexy MMM. It starts as a holiday fling, and it’s fun and heartwarming. I really liked the three guys together.

But the instalove was really hard to believe, especially since two guys are an established couple. After years together, they meet a guy and within two weeks, they’re in love and in an equal throuple? I don’t think so.

Mandy, my go-to-girl for this month's personal challenge of mine told me that she thought I would've liked this. She also said that it was light and cute.

Yep. I did like it

First thing, N.R. Walker's stories didn't always work (oh, I did DNF a few, I just didn't put those here) and her love of using "baby" as endearment (BLAH!) always made me do the deletion before reading hers (yes, there are "baby's" here too). But I also thought most of her stories to be low on angst and quite happy in nature. Since I just finished one that was quite subdued, I thought it would be good.

It was indeed light; yes, Wil came to Key West after experiencing a heartbreak since his closeted ex bailed on him (Wil was closeted too, but it was still hurting). He met the strong solid Simon and cheerful charming Adam -- and soon Wil became part of a three-way relationship. Not much of a conflict, everybody was happy, and not once I felt that one of them being left out.

If there was a conflict in the middle -- when the feeling developed -- it was not being dragged out. There was another external conflict about a homophobic developer, but since it was introduced around 84% and solved in around 94%, again, it was like fire quickly being put down. Then we had coming and again, it was resolved in an instant.

Sooooo, it never really go beyond the surface. That was okay, though, it matches my expectation and I did enjoy it. That's what matters, right?

Having said that ... I read how some friends thought N.R. Walker tend to have a "telling not showing" style. I never really paid attention before, and I never really thought it was blatantly obvious. But I did notice it here somehow. Like in the beginning ... or even about their sex life. I did feel more telling than showing. So consider that a friendly advisory :)

I'm not sure what to say about this. I didn't really enjoy it. Nearly DNF it at 30% It was just all the same.
Just sex.sex.sex. Don't know what came over me for me not liking it but anyway I put it away a day. Then because I hate DNF, I struggled through the rest of the book.

No, not my favorite of N.R. Walker...

Couple gets freaky with a third. I went into this blind and if I had know I wouldn't have read this. No shaming but it's not my thing. It's my bad that I didn't read the blurb.

- There was alot of sex in this book considering it's an NR book.
- Some DP action too
- Everything felt too easy. It was maybe a bit too fluffy as well.
- Instalove

Ok read all in all.

I really enjoyed this story. I often worry before I read menage stories if an author can truly make it work with three in a relationship. This author, IMO did a great job. I really can't say who I liked more, Wil, Adam or Simon. They all were unique in their own way and worked so well together. A very sweet read with no over the top drama. I will reread this one again.
