How would you run from a robot army?

A small tech firm wins a DOD contract with their new droid army. The kicker? The droids are controlled by gamers to keep costs low and body counts high.

When Brill Wingfield, the world's luckiest hitman discovers the ruse at the behest of Shelby Johnson and Barraque, he's sent to uncover what the droids are doing and stop them.

But should Brill target the men pulling the controller triggers or the man behind the madness.

This is a microfile that can be read in one sitting. Fans of fast paced action will love this little taste of the Shadowboxer series. Grab this short read now, a great appetizer to the thrill packed main course in the rest of the series.

Another in the Shadowhunter Series. The robots are big, made of steel, and very deadly. Brill has been sent in to stop them. The concept may have been good but the nerds controlling them think they’re playing a video game with very realistic graphics and care little about the hundreds of civilian casaulties they’re mowing down. Brill is out to get the people behind this fiasco. As with everything else this author has written this text needs further editing.

kindle unlimited {may be leaving ku tho}, have read quite a few of this writer's stuff, prefer the comedic ones most but just same as this 4, just not that in to thrillers so keep that in mind regarding the rating. Also can't figure out the order of the books, full list of what could figure out below. Saw different order in couple different places, no idea which is right or different.

Good Read

This story handled the issue of how to keep soldiers safe in an increasely dangerous battlefield, but as always there is one person who wants all the power. This is where our anti hero steps in to right that wrong and bullets fly and things get blown up. A very engaging story, believable plot, and an interesting climax

Good work but I don't like the protagonist.

Sorry, Chris, but I just don't like your protagonist. Fine writing - Chris is a really good story teller - I just don't like this protagonist. Others probably will so they should definitely read this story.

Good Short Story!

I really enjoyed the idea behind this story. I would really have liked to see this in a full length novel.

Interesting read

This storyline took my by surprise. We have high tech robots on one side and a extremely powerful assassin on the other, what could go wrong?

a new military project, using one man per robot to create a strong military force, goes awry, when the users think it is a game and destroy a small town. Brill goes in to stop them.
