I really enjoyed this comic. This is the beginning of the new Pathfinder comic series based on the role-playing game. This story hits all the right notes for me. There are enough familiar tropes of sword & sorcery role-playing with a healthy dose of novel ideas. There is action, magic, and a good cliffhanger to pull me into the series. There is also a short story based on the Starfinder game, and a battlemap and section describing the city of the story for those wanting to use it in their Pathfinder game. I recommend it.

Great start to the new arc, best issue since Zub moved on to Marvel. If you like Pathfinder or fantasy in general it is worth the read, although reading some of the earlier arcs might be helpful to get acquainted with the ensemble cast of characters.
