Ramona Hathaway dreams of becoming a fashion designer, which will give her a chance to escape her daily struggles with a drunk stepfather and cross the railroad tracks for the last time. But she’s also a realist—with one ragged dress to her name, no one gives her a second glance. Until she meets Ben Farris, the son of the wealthiest man in town. Their love deepens with every tryst on Hidden Ledge. But when Ben’s father finds out, he issues an ultimatum—promise never to see Ben again and he’ll help her realize her dream, but if she refuses, he’ll make sure she spends the next ten years in prison for what she did to her stepfather. Ramona makes her choice, but how will she forgive the men that forced her choice, and how will she forgive herself?

Rag Doll was a romance story but laced with hardships, let downs, and a will by the male character, Ben, to win. He felt God was on his side. The female character, Ramona, was from a different background and didn't grow up with wealth and therefore had an issue with feeling worthy.

The author handled the issues that this kind of relationship brings with it very well. I was surprised with some things that happened and the ending wrapped up nicely. It's well worth the read and some of the scenes gripped my heart and some tears welled up in my eyes. The characters were very believable and overall a very inspiring story.

I was given a copy by the author and voluntarily chose to review it.

Rag Doll by Author Sherri Stewart wrote an amazing book that held my attention through the whole novel. It's well-written and the characters feel real and Rag Doll brought out many different emotions in me. The author did a sensational job writing her plot in the correct time period. I love and enjoyed reading this book. Rag Doll by Author Sherri Stewart is a book I highly recommend to read.

I received a copy from the publisher, but was not required to review it. This review is one hundred percent my opinion.

Rag Doll is an excellently written book. It keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout the entire reading. The suspense of how and if Ramona and Ben would turn out is worth the wait. It was hard NOT to peek at the back for the ending! You can envision being with Ramona and Ben and feel their emotions. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and highly recommend it.
