Glazov's Legacy

Rate this book
AS OF 3-22-18 THIS BOOK HAS BEEN REVISED AND RE-EDITED FOR YOUR READING PLEASURE. ENJOY BEAUTIFUL READERS.
The Born Bratva Legacy continues. Glazov remains obsessed with his Ptichka in this dark, twisted romance of unconventional love. His children have only served to bring out his dangerous nature as he continues to fight to remain on top as the feared Pakhan.
"Glazov...What does it mean, the name you call me--Ptichka?"
"It means: 'Little bird.'"
"And why did you choose that name for me?"
"Because I know if I allowed you, you would fly away."
Thank you readers for making Glazov's Legacy # 1 in Organized Crime new releases and also in the Organized Crime Thriller genre. I love you.
"Daddy! Daddy!" I have faced every terror known to man. Every blood-curdling scream for mercy only sent me deeper into my dark state of being. Their agonized screams never moved me to feel pity, nor have they ever struck fear in my heart. This, though... this was different. The cry of a child, terrified and begging for a father who could no longer help him, raised my hackles for the first time in my screwed-up life.

Somehow, I know that breaking through the barriers of fire and smoke and saving this boy will avenge me, and I will finally find the redemption I so desperately need.

As if they have been summoned from the very portals of hell, flames are licking at us from every angle, but I will never forgive myself if I leave this boy to be swallowed up by the inferno.

A wooden beam crashes down beside me and pulls me back into the moment. Quickly, I bend over and lift the child from a pile of soot-blackened debris to heave him over my shoulder.

Once the boy is secure in my arms, I turn and immediately run toward the door. With every step, my lungs scream for the life giving fresh air that looks so close, yet it feels so far away. The boy's tiny fingers grip me tightly; one hand is hanging onto my leather gun holster, and the other is wrapped in the fabric of my shirt. When I dressed this morning, I certainly never anticipated this could be the day I die.

The fire has burned through the walls in places, and sunlight beckons me through the cracks. The entire building threatens to cave in on us before we have the opportunity to crash through the door separating life from death.

I will not die today. I plow through the wooden door, instinctively knowing the handle is far too hot to be touched.

Yafon waits just outside the door, and I toss the child into his outstretched arms right before I fall to my knees, struggling to gulp down the fresh air that now surrounds me.

I gained a son today, and though he was not born of my loins, he will be raised Bratva with my last name. I now have three children, two sons and a daughter, to carry on the legacy of their father, Glazov.

Her characters are very alpha in nature and many times they operate under obsession for the object of their affection; rather than love. Though she does believe in happily ever afters, her characters many times have a bumpy ride getting there.
She also writes under the pseudonym Stormy Dawn Weathers for her writings that aren't so darkly laced with a true realism of shock and awe. Suzanne Steele does not believe in holding back when it comes to writing about how dark and depraved her characters are in the core of their primal natures.

Fabulous addictive read 4.5 stars.

Having just read and loved 'Glazov' I couldn't wait to start this book, it has a fabulous little prologue and then the book itself takes place twenty years on, and even after twenty years Glazov is even more in love with Kathleen, if that's possible. They have three children Nikita, Roksana and Kodiak all are deeply involved in the Bratva and Glazov's legacy is looking good.
I loved this book, we get loads of Glazov and Kathleen and trust me Glazov is just as ruthless and sadistic as he ever was, we also get introduced to their children and their roles in the organisation.
We meet Glazov's cousin Novak and his wife Katrina which means I'm now going to read his book which I'll admit I wasn't going to before because I didn't like the cover.
Once I started this book I couldn't put it down, between the story, the characters, the sex plus Glazov I mean let's face it he's so hot he deserves a special mention.
In the interests of a totally honest review I have to say my only problem with this was the repetition, Kodiak being dragged through flames and Natasha being a hit women were the ones which annoyed me the most.
I've loved both these books and I can't wait to start Novak.

RE-READ
This is the second book in the Born Bratva Series by Suzanne Steele. This is probably my third time re-reading this wonderful book by an amazingly talented author. Alexander Glazov is all mine ! My dream is to be the meat in a Glazov/Antonio Wayne Ramirez sandwich. Glazov saved five year old Kodiak from a burning building which took his dad’s life. Their bond was forged in fire and from that moment Kodiak became a Glazov. Kathleen and Glazov now have three children ; Nikita, Roksana, and Kodiak and they are all being groomed to be powerful forces in the Bratva. After twenty years together Glazov is still obsessed with Kathleen and he’s still watching her every move. Now that their children are grown Glazov and Kathleen will watch them find their soulmates and fall in love. The next three books are about Nikita, Kodiak, and Roksana and they’re just as awesome.

Aww, Guess who's back, Back again. Glazov & Kathleen's back. Tell a friend :)
Pitchka, I've named you thus because, in my native Russian tongue, it means little bird. Had I allowed you to do so, I know you would have broken my heart and flown away.

This takes place 20 years after the first book. Glazov and Kathleen are older now, but they don't let that stop them from getting busy.

It was nice to see they're obsessive love for one another was still alive and kicking.
They have 3 kids and life is good but you know life in the Bratva isn't all roses and champagne.

This story was kind of all over the place(I think it has to do with the fact that all the books in this series seem to have been short stories but then has been revised and re-edited to be longer and then rereleased). This book is like snapshots into their daily lives. So the story stumbles, But it was nice to see how he takes care of business, but we still get the romance back from the first book. Ultimately my love for Glazov and Kathleen is strong. Plus we get to see some of Novak and watch him and Glazov's bond in action. We also learn about they're children and how the apple doesn't fall far from the tree in this case.
All of my children are as ruthless as their father

I can't say much for this one except if you like the previous books you'll probably enjoy this one as well and you relish the chance to see how they're doing 20 years later. All the people in this family are just a bit unhinged and bloodthirsty and this book sets the stage for the next couple of books where we'll follow each one of the children.

My wife gives me something no one else can provide. My Ptichka is a relentless addiction coursing through my veins, and at all hours of the day, my body constantly craves another fix.

DNF @ 20%.

Ok, so I read the first book and really liked it. I admit that Glazov was pretty OTT. However, there were too many things that didn't sit well with me in this one. First, the H makes his profit by selling guns. He is very much against dealing drugs but guns are ok. How many people have been killed bc of guns, especially children. Gun violence is through the roof and anybody that profits from that is no H!! The H claims that the drug dealers will kill themselves off. Well, they are going to do that with guns and there will be many innocent people that will die in the process. But that seems not to concern the H at all. Second, the H enjoys cutting his wife with a knife while they have sex. Look, I like a rough alpha as much as the next person but that is insane!! Knife play crosses a line that I do not like. Third, there was no gentleness to the H toward his wife. He treated her with more roughness than finesse. Lastly, the h had no issues with the horrible things that the H does. In fact, she even said she enjoys the respect and attention she gets from people bc of her husband. But they only do that out of fear. Thats not real respect. Even the constant bruises and marks on the h left by the H are ok. She states that she doesn't hide them from her family bc they should be accustomed to the H's treatment of her. WHAT!?!?

Loved loved loved loved it! This one told the story of Glazov and his children with Novak thrown in! Glazov is still obsessed with Kathleen 20 years later when other women try to hit on him he just ignores them! Kathleen beat up one that was trying to hit on him while she was standing there because, he taught his ptichka how to defend herself! Priceless!

Crime family on a level of high. The grit and grime dealt out could only be realized by the details given. Raw. Intense. Emotional (at times). Intriguing. This was my introduction to the Bratva. I was pleased with the characters Kathleen, Glazov, Novak, Katrina, Kodiak, Nikita, Roksana, and so many more. There was family, friends, famillia bonds, a legacy. This was more than just a few moments in time. There was depth. There are some layers here that are not easily grasped in just one listen.

The narrator drew you in with his voice. The dimension given by the various characters was just mesmerizing. I listed with wrapped attention. Liked very much.

Glazov never cease to amaze! In this story we are introduced to Glazov and Kathleen's three children: Nikita, Kodiak, and Roksanna. The three children are in the process of taking their rightful place in the Bratva. Of course as the children of Glazov, nothing is ever easy for them. Kodiak is in love with a possible snitch, Nikita has been in love with one of his father's enforcers since childhood and she refuses to mix business with pleasure, and Roksanna well she's busy proving she's just as ruthless as her brothers. Kathleen remains the perfect Bratva wife. She loves and protects her husband and children by any means necessary.

Glazov and Kathleen have built an empire in the 20 years they've been married. Their chemistry is as strong as ever and the love play....omgee! Glazov has a dirty filthy mouth and he certainly backs up every word in the bedroom with his little bird, Kathleen. Lucky woman! As in Glazov, (book 1 in the series) Kathleen continues her stunts to irk her husband. Why? She lives for her husband's punishments! His punishments are dark, dirty, and panty wetting good! Those scenes definitely deserve several reviews, readers!

Glazov continue to prove in Glazov's Legacy he still reign as KING of his world. His connections span the world- from government officials to the most ruthless MC clubs to Columbian drug lords. Glazov is POWER! We glimpse a softer side of Glazov in this story. Glazov tug at our heart strings as he rescues a kidnapped girl locked in a cage abused and scheduled to die via an Internet feed, as he serves justice to a bunch of racists street punks after they dared to hurt one of his enforcer's nephew, and in the way he takes care of the family of those loyal enough to serve time in jail for crimes others commit. From tears to cheers.......get ready for the ride!

I'm excited this series will continue with the three Glazov children! Kodiak's story, Expose, is up first. I believe there is more to Kodiak than we've seen thus far. He seems to be a bit unstable. It will be a treat to see how his place in the Bratva plays out, how Logan (his love interest) will tame this explosive man, but most importantly if he will live up to his father's expectations.

Glazov's Legacy is not a typical love story. Please move along if you're expecting poetry and chocolates. This story is for ADULTS. This story is dark, contains graphic violence (what mob story is without violence), yummy sex scenes, and the formula is explosive and powerful!

Five stars for book 2 in this delicious series!

This is just a filler story with lots of kinky sex. Kinky is the key word.

Why am I reading this series? I still have not a clue. The H is a total wack job who stalks his wife even after 20 years and acts like she is going to run at any minute. Gets a tad old, but I will be reading the next one...don't ask me why.

I loved the first book, but this one did not hold my attention. Don't get me wrong, Glazov and Kathleen totally rocked my world in book #1, but this one...not so much. Perhaps I waited too long in between reading each installment. Oh well...I still love this author's work!

*Swoon* Loved it!!! Once again I'm blown away by the sheer awesomeness I've just read. Suzannes' writing has a way of drawing you into the crazy world of the dominating and powerful Alexander Glazov and his Ptchika Kathleen. The story itself was great, hooked me in completely from page 1 and continued all the way to the end with many twists and turns to keep me glued to my kindle.

My favourite parts by far were seeing Glazov and Kathleens' children and how each interacted with them. It was interesting to see how each had unique characteristics that both parents had passed onto each child, possibly so Glazov could use and mold them to successors in the Bratza empire. Totally loved seeing their 3 children grown up and living their Bratva lives, and Natasha by a mile is my new book herione!! Completely professional, intelligent and badass to boot :D Totally loved her and Nikitas relationship. The fact she stuck to her guns not wanting to offend the boss made me love her even more, although Nikita wanting to make her jealous did annoy me some but it got the job done so to speak!! LD Fingers crossed their are more books including them.

Once again another amazing 1 click buy from an author who will forever be in my top 3 authors of all time <3

Suzanne Steele has done it again, another fantastic read!!! I'm always happy when I see a new release of hers... Mrs.Steel's characters are amazing, after 20 years of married Glazov and Kathleen still have an amazing/kinky relationship. I loved the first book with these two and was super excited to read another book with them along with their kids. As always we get a super hot read with an over the top alpha, top that of with a love between the two that borders on obsessive. Plus we get a little glimpse of Novak. You can't go wrong when you pick up one of Suzanne Steele's books. I highly recommend. I need to point out I closed the book when the page said "The end" that was a mistake and I missed the list of all the books that she has coming in the near future including other Born Bratva books.

Book 2 in the Glasov family series

I absolutely love Kathleen and Glazov's relationship. He is always one step ahead of her. She is determined with the help of Novak's wife Katrina to make sure Kodiak's new lady is safe and doesn't write the expose on the Bravata. This is not going to set well with Glazov and Novak. I loved the back and forth between all the characters. A great book in a great series.

I have to start off this review by letting you know that the main character is a man who knows what he wants from his wife. He's also a man who rules his business with an iron fist. This story is an interesting mix of his need for his wife and doing his daily business. Neither Glazov nor his wife seem to be tiring of each other even having been together for so many years. With them still so in to each other made it hard to believe they had grown children.

As this story continues on I felt that I was missing how the husband and wife got to this point. i was alright with not having listened to the first book in order to enjoy this one. But I think to get a full grasp on the type of relationship they have, I will need to go back and either read or listen to Glazov.

Just like the people in the Bratva, these people do what has to be done to stay on top. But they are also family. Suspicion is part of their life and the women show how it affects their lives as well as the men's. The language is very raw, expressive, and graphic - and so is the physical aspect of Glazov and Kathleen's relationship. There are secondary characters but felt their story gets lost as the matriarch's story always seems front and center.

When I think of Glazov, and all the people in his world, I think of a man with an accent. Mr. Valor does a good job with keeping me both entertained and intrigued. I didn't mind the fact that he doesn't attempt to read this with an accent because we still get the feeling as to how a man in a Bratva acts toward his family and the people he does business with.

Ms. Steele does a good job in creating a story that gives me a look into a Bratva family. Having the story done in the first person gives us more of a sense on what they're thinking as well as what they're doing. For those that don't like anything hardcore you might want to stay away from this series. I actually tried to write this review as I was re-listening to sections of the book but found it became impossible. With how graphic a lot of these scenes are, they pulled my attention away. This is not a story where the reader can fill in the blanks - you know exactly what is going on at all times. So some of you need to think of your comfort zone before picking this up. I, however, am ready to see more of what this family is all about.

I voluntarily reviewed an Audiobook copy of this book.

I actually really enjoyed part one and also enjoyed part 2 even though at times it felt like a prologue into the series explaining everyone's book and story throughout the chapters. As oppose to the first book, this book doesn't really have a story. Rather if mainly introduces the different members of Glazov' family.

What I liked was the attraction the main couple still felt for each other after 20 years of marriage. I also liked how the story focuses mainly on the human interaction and switches pov and the action and drama are lightly touched upon. The H and h have particular proclivities when it comes to their sexual endeavors. H is a sadist and h a masochist but it works for them. There is a lot of focus on their sexual interaction and you get to know the kind of man Glazov is (if it had not been clear from the first book).

if you like your H dark, possessive and OTT and you don't mind lack of storytelling, this is your book.

So much better than I remembered

So as I stated in my review of Glazov earlier today I had read the first few books in the series. since I saw some new books out I opted to reread the entire series from start to finish. If you love a romance that's dark and I mean dark with knives and blood then this series might be for you. Glazov is the head of the Russian Bratva/mafia and blackmailed his wife in the first book. This book shows how the organization is run and introduces the characters for the upcoming books. A great read.

Born Bratva Book 2 shows the depth of Glazov character. Yes, he is still the powerful, brutal head of the Bratva, but he is now married and the father of 2 children by blood Nikita and Roksana, and 1 son by choice Kodiak, who he saved from a fire that claimed his father. Kathleen is a fiercely protective mother, who loves her children and adores her husband. The book is well paced, has great twists and turns, some brutality, and passion. Suzanne Steele has given us a great series and I can't wait to see where their lives go.
