She did it again. I love this ladies writing. The Hunters is the second book in a series. I don't give away spoilers so this is okay to read. I wasn't sure with the first book at first but found that I really got into it. With the Hunters it grabbed me right away. The story moves fast and answers a lot of background questions. There are a number of surprise, at least for me. It takes more of the view of the hunters compared to the first book. I look forward to more from Destiny in this series and other. I
In a world where magic is wrong, Hunters wipe out that magic. This is the story of half hunters/half witch and wizards sister and brother. They have been in the orphanage undercover for the last 2 years. Finally the hunters do their jobs. But something doesn’t feel right about it. Ms. Jones who ran the orphanage is now set to be executed. Can they stop it before it’s to late? Great book 2. I can’t wait to see what happens next.
Quite similar to her characters who have supernatural powers, Destiny Hawkins creates magic with her words!
I really liked the direction this second book took. It really showed more of the hunters story and backstory. I wasn't really for sure I'd like it as well as the first one, but sure enough I did. With plenty of excitement and suspense, I was definitely not left disappointed. It's a fast read with a lot packed into it. Definitely a good follow up book to The Hunted
I voluntarily reviewed an advance readers copy of this book.
Hawkins brings the other side of her first book to life with such fun, whimsy, and surprise. Love it!!! This is the story of The Hunters that we met in The Coven Series Book 1. Particularly that of Beatrice and her brother, Bradly who are half witch/wizard and half hunter. This story has you actually rooting for these characters as they question what is truly good and evil in the world around them. They find allies in the most unlikely of places!
This book was amazing. I really enjoyed this look at the other side of things. This book went more in-depth and had more details about everything that was going on and why. Love the twist in this short story and the cliff hanger at the end leaves you wanting so much more!! Awesome short story follow up in the series
This book was great! We get to know the characters more and see a different side of them. This author is wonderful at giving us a lot in a short story! Can't wait for book 3!
This was a great book and I want to thank Destiny for sending me a copy to read. This is the second book in this series and I can't wait to read what's next by this great author...

➡ how I felt about this book. Likes & dislikes and character's⬇ we first met Beatrice and her little brother in book 1. But soon found out they was bad guy's. As ms. Jones punishment was death everything changed. We also find out the are mixed. As we watch from the sidelines as Beatrice fighting with her feeling and what is wrong or right and now they had battle to keep alive as well.

The Hunters is the second book in the Coven series by Destiny Hawkins. This book is fast paced and full of suspense. I love all of Destiny’s books but this one really intrigued me, as it answered many questions I had from the first book in the series. Beatrice and Bradly become fully dimensional in this second book. I love the way Destiny weaves these short stories filled with conflict and hints of the magic yet to come. I can’t wait to see what comes next in this series.
Love the story and the world destiny created of witches and hunters. This second book explains about other two orphans that were basically under cover for the hunters to capture witches. But what they are will change their lives. Can’t wait to read the next installment!
Magic, witches and hunters, which is evil? Can it be so easily defined? These are the dilemmas facing Beatrice, Bradly and Cas in the second book of the series. Well thought out plot, enticing characters, dialog and action equals an exciting read! Cliffhanger ending brings the two books to a riveting conclusion. Next book is sure to be another page turner! 4 1/2 stars.
I liked this book. I haven't read book 1 yet. I wasn't sure which was first. There's plenty of action going on but it took me a while to warm to the characters. Now I want to know what's going to happen in the next book.
I listened to this action-packed short story at work on my Kindle, it was fabulous ! Chapter Eight brought me to tears. And that ending, oh my goodness...just No! No! No!
Can't wait to get my hands on Book Three in the series!
