Part 1 of Ham and Meyah's story was nothing short of spectacular! So much raw emotion. Meyah and Hamlet both have such an amazing strength within them. It's the vulnerability they share with only each other that will blow you away!
I felt like I was living this journey with them. So much passion and intensity! Suspense and uncertainty! You will fall in love. Your heart will shatter. Several times I wanted to throw my kindle across the room, but this book will draw you in. Grab ahold of your heart and soul. And WON'T. LET. GO! Easily a 6 star read! Now bring on part 2!

We've seen this couple moving towards each other for the last couple of books. They are so young, yet seem sure of themselves. It's been fun seeing Meyah become more confident through the series, she more than stands up to Ham.
I really liked learning about Ham's history. He was really screwed over as he tried to get custody of his siblings after their parents died. It looked so bad, but later towards the end of the book you realize it was so much worse than they thought. I hated what Romeo and Ophelia went through and wished that the sibs could have stayed together. But I also liked that Ham was doing what he could to get to know them again, even as hard as it was.
So much drama in this one! Some things got resolved, some things we'll have to wait until the next book to see how things shake out. I have my fingers crossed that things will work out.

It's as if 12 hours in a day were enough - just this once - because once again, in a rare moment, I manager to read a book in a single sitting (aside from the second cup of coffee that was required being 5am and all...)
Ah loved this book SO much, no words can do it justice.
I don't think or remember reading an Addison Jane book before? But now, every single one will be added on my TBR list - especially if it involves bikers.
I also haven't read an MC based book in the last month maybe, so having read Shake has kinda made me in a power hungry girl in one-clicking the entire MC genre from Amazon. p.s. I wish I was exaggerating.
SHAKE by Addison Jane went beyond words to prove why I love MC books. From the first page, it was addictive and basically a punch in the gut or nose - pun intended.
I connected with Meyah and even her finally right from the get go. It's as if all the characters were old family friends I haven't seen in years, and now we are right were we left of. That's as close I can explain how instant the emotional connection was. It doesn't happen often, especially with MC books. I don't know why or how but Addison Jane knows how to get to readers. It's that author's sixth sense that if you have, you are set for life.
I also loved how much her family cared for their daughter and how much they fought - with words - to keep her from harms way.
And then we get Ham... Holy jesus and all things bad ass bikers.
I ADORED the way he was introduced at the end of the first chapter. I loved it even more when I realised we were lucky enough to get dual POV - Ham coming soon after in his chapter.

I loved this. The Club Girl Diaries Series has been one that has had me addicted from the very first book. Shake and Meyah’s story has been one that I have been looking forward to, for what seems like forever. Shake is a book that is packed full of the grit and chaos of an MC romance and will have your anxieties out of control. As you take the ride with these two for this first half of their journey it is full of twists, turns, heat, steam, secrets and so much mayhem. Book 8 in the series ends on a “what the” moment, that will have you going nearly insane but take a breath because book 9 is available and ready for us to one click and get straight back on that harley and meet up with the Brothers by Blood MC.

This eighth installment of The Club Girl Diaries is a brilliant start to the journey of Shake and Meyah's long awaited relationship. It has been brewing since the series debut, and it does not disappoint. With angst, drama and the typical plot twists that Addison Jane is known for, Shake cleverly draws you in before you even know you're captured by it.
If you haven't sunk your teeth into the Brothers by Blood MC yet, now is a great time to start. These badass bikers and sassy females will have you swooning all over your kindles. Well done Addison Jane on another stellar release!

I have no words and this shouldn't surprise me since most of this series has left my mouth hanging open. Just when I start to take a deep breath and think, "ok things are coming together", BAM shit hits the fan.

I can't tell you how much I loved Shake it has to be one of my favorites by the author and that is some pretty tough competition . This can be read as a standalone by I highly recommend The club girl diaries it's an amazing series that you really shouldn't miss out on . Going in I knew that this was going to end in a cliffhanger and it still tore my heart out wanting to see whats to come for this couple . Ever since Ham and Meya were introduced I couldn't wait to read their story and see how the author was going to put it and oh my gosh it was just WOW . Ham and Meya have both been through a lot my heart broke for them and when they got together I was cheering while fanning myself . They also shared growth through out the story and I thought that was beautiful how the author wrote it I could feel their strength through my kindle . I'm looking forward to see what's to come for Addison Jane I just know it's going to be another five star read .

Noooooooo!!!!
How did I not know this was a freaking cliffy?????? Oh I know because I don't read other peoples comments because I don't want the story ruined for myself. Dangit I hope we don't have to wait freaking forever for the rest and conclusion of Meyah and Ham's story.
Freaking floved this book but am really ticked off right now!!geesh please, please, please I hope I don't have to await too loooong. I should of read slower but no I had to devour it.

I'm really ticked off this had a cliffhanger ending. I've been waiting for their story forever, and this was very disappointing. Also, since they've liked each other for books now before this one, he had no business trying to mute his feelings with other girls before they officially got together. We all knew, the characters all knew, that this was coming, and this kind of thing has no place in a romance. Once the couple knows each other, likes each other, they have no business being with other people or you can't call it a romance. How much can they like each other if they're going to sleep with other people? I'm not being judgmental. I'm being serious, especially in such an alpha male type series where everyone together is so possessive of each other, him being with other girls is not just gross, it doesn't make logical sense.

This is NOT a stand-alone read. It is the first part of Meyah’s and Ham’s story. Written for mature adults (18+ years old) as it contains scenes stereotypical for the MC genre. In addition, it has reoccuring characters, details that cannot be fully detailed from previous stories, consecutive timelines and overarching themes.

I didn’t lower the rating as the pace was fine, it is just that I have come to expect near perfection from Addison Jane in this regard.

Over the last year or so, Meyah has been able to spend more time at the clubhouse and she has been tiptoeing around Ham. They both have a tendency to watch the other, but Meyah wasn’t quite 18 then and needed to mature, as she wasn’t quite ready for the next step no matter how powerful the attraction / chemistry between the two of them.
Ham, aka Shake, is the latest member to be patched in the Athens’ Chapter, has been fascinated with Meyah since he first saw her. He knows she is his, Ham is just waiting for her to be ready. Then she finally gives him the first sign that the time may have finally arrived …

✯✯5 Hamlet Stars!!!✯✯
I have read and loved every book in this series. What attracted me to this series is it from the club girls POV and the guy who falls for them. The club girls are treated like humans and are protected, cared for and loved by the guys of this incredible MC. The previous 7 books are all standalones. This book is not and I’m glad bc if it was all in this book Addison would prob have to cut out or rush things. It would ruin the story.
Even though this is a Club Girls Diaries series this is technically the second brothers story. Hamlet AKA Ham AKA road name Shake has had a hard life. His parents died in a car accident and then his younger siblings were taken in foster care. He fought for years for them but denied every time. It wasn’t until he joined The Brothers by Blood MC that he felt like he had a family and people that cared for him. But, without his younger siblings in his life he’s half a man.
Meyah hasn’t had an easy life either. She never knew who her father was. Her mother kept her on such a short leash she was lucky she could breathe. Her Uncle Leo is the closest father figure she’s ever had. He’s a patched member of The Brothers by Blood MC. Meyah’s mother doesn’t want her around her uncle MC.
But, the older she’s getting the more Meyah is becoming her own women. The past year she’s spent more time around her Uncle Leo and the brothers, their old ladies and the club girls. They’ve become her family and she loves them. Meyah has had her eye on Ham. She knows he looks at her and Leo’s niece and off limits. But, she hopes that’ll change one day.
When Meyah finally stands up for herself against her prick ex-boyfriend everyone starts seeing her differently. Including Ham. It’s then he realizes he can’t stay away from her anymore and she’s not complaining. These two are connected, hot and combustible. There might be a six year age difference between them but it doesn’t matter. Ham makes her see things clearly.
Ham won’t stop until he’s found his siblings and they’re reunited. He also needs help with the situation his brother Romeo is in. Ham wants his siblings and his brothers together. Ham also loves Meyah and wants to make her happy and be everything she deserves. But, with everything going on he’s not sure he’ll get everything or if they’ll all survive.
Holy mother of God! This book had everything! It ended at an OMG part but a good part to end. I thought I was going to have an issue with Ham and Meyah’s relationship bc she’s 18. But, they really do fit and made for each other. I’m just hoping they get their HEA. Hurry up book 2

Leo and Hadley, along with Carly, were called into Meyah's principal's office. Meyah's ex, Nick, had grabbed her ass at school and she hit him and broke his nose.
Shakes parents had been killed in a car accident when he was a senior in high school. His brother, Romeo, was 16 and his sister, Ophelia, was 12. He tried to get custody but couldn't so they were put into "the system."
Shake had asked Wrench to search for his brother and sister. Wrench finds out they had both changed their names when they got out of foster care at 18. Now he finds out Romeo has been in prison for dealing Coke and Heroine in Vegas. this wasn't his "1st Rodeo" and Shake was so upset. This was the little brother who had tagged along with him when his parents were alive.
Phee is doing better. She is living in a home for homeless girls in California. They are getting counseling, expected to be respectable, go to school, keep the house organized and become respectable members of society.
Shake talks to his brothers during church about wanting to bring his brother back for the club to protect. He explains his life once his parents died so they would understand why he wants to do this.
Meyah and Ham (she calls him Ham instead of his road name Shake) make a deal with each other. She will talk with her Mom to make amends and he will go to his sister and make amends with her. The last time he saw her she said she didn't know him so he knows he may have a hard time doing this.
Meyah finds out from her mom that her dad's name is Huntsman. They met when she was working in Vegas. When she found out her parents were killed, she went to his home to tell him. He wasn't home but his wife was . . . she didn't know he was married.
Soon we find out that Shake was a star pitcher in Louisiana . . . scholarships from some big time schools and a possibility to make the majors . . . he feels his greediness caused his parents deaths.
How will Meyah and Shake get past the outstanding parts of their families. Even though Carly doesn't want Meyah to search for her father . . . will she and is he still out there? What about Phee and Romeo . . . will he move into the club and will Phee accept her brother now?

If you haven’t dived into Addison Jane’s club Girl Diaries, you need to. this whole series is beautifully done. Shake, aka Hamlet, is no different. This story captures two of the younger people in the club. This book is a two-part story, so if you don’t like cliffhangers, don’t worry the conclusion is out. I blew through this story in 4 hours maybe. I might have a reading problem, LOL.
Hamlet is now a patched member with past regrets weighing him down. Now with a patch and new road name, Shake has the brotherhood at his back. He will go on a journey to right his regrets and make amends. Only coming to terms with his past will cause a wave of regrets in his future if he’s not careful. He finally realizes the pull Meyah has on him and his heart. Watching then collide together like two meteors will have sparks flying.
Meyah is trying to become her own woman. She is at that in-between stage of teen not taken seriously and womanhood. I was fist pumping when she stood up for herself. She is a beautiful flower blooming and coming into her own. Fighting her battles she finds truths that will leave her in shock. I did like how you could see in the pages Meyah’s beginnings of becoming a woman. She is maturing before the eyes of everyone. Her story continues in the second book, which I’m anxious to read.
I loved how Addison captured Meyah and Shake’s relationship. It’s different from the others because they are younger. I thought it flowed and had a good arc in the book. It will definitely have you itching for the second, but to me that is Addison. Her writing consumes you. Then you wake up from the fog wondering when you can go back to her world.
One part I enjoyed was Chelsea and the other ol’ ladies imparting wisdom to Meyah. They didn’t want her to lose out on love. There were so many facets to this first part. I can’t wait for the answers to come to light. While this wasn’t my favorite Club Girls story, that’s reserved for Wrench, it was good. The plot flows quickly and the arc’s leave you wanting the conclusion. If you read Shake you won’t want to not get Meyah. You will crave it. 5 Pointe Shoes for Shake because of how well written it was and I immediately dove into Meyah.

Addison Jane just outdid herself with this book. I loved every single page. Never a dull moment with The Brother's By Blood MC.
Shake is a Brother's Story but it is Book 8 in the Club Girl Diaries series. I would recommend reading the first 7 before reading this book, that way you get a feel for who each of the other characters are. It is an amazing series, and you will enjoy every single book.
Hamlet a.k.a Ham or Shakes and Meyah have been circling around one another for a year.
After hearing some guy was a douche bag to Meyah at school, Ham goes to check on her.
'I'd spent so long staying away from Meyah, keeping her at arms length, and watching her from afar, I just wasn't ready to let my failures taint the time I finally had with her." - Ham
"No Matter how strong I felt like I was getting, Ham always had this way of stealing my soul from my body."
Ham is searching for his brother and his sister. And he struggles with it daily.
Meyah struggles with not really knowing who she is. Her mother is controlling. And one day she lets it slip that Meyah is acting just like her dad. Which shocks Meyah.
"My whole life, mom. It's been about trying to control me. Trying to drive me in the direction you wanted me to go. Trying to protect me but never letting me experience anything.
I don't really want to say much more, because I don't want to spoil anything. But wow. This might just be my favorite of the Club Girl's. It is action packed and will definitely give you the feels. Though at the end, I did FEEL like throwing my Kindle! Ha ha ha in the best possible way.
I cannot wait for book 2!!!

This is part one of Meyah & Ham's story and boy oh boy Addison Jane did not disappoint! Ever since Leo's book there has been small mentions of the chemistry or the sparks between Ham and Meyah and I've been rather impatiently waiting for their story; and even though I'm not normally a fan of the cliffhanger I'm so glad that Addison Jane decided to split this into two books.
There are so many layers to these two as they figure out what they want out of life. Ham or "Shake's" backstory is so emotional that your heart breaks for him. He's finally figured out what he wants and that's not only Meyah but his whole family back together and he's willing to fight for them. But at what cost? Meyah has lived a very sheltered life mainly because of her mother and now that she's allowed to spend more time with the club she finally feels like she's becoming more confident becoming who she's meant to be. But even as she continues to grow and spend more time with the club and Ham they continue to want to shelter her and protect her. With all their good intentions will they let her finally make her own choices? Or will they push her away?
This book ends on a cliffhanger as I said earlier; like a "No No No" there are no more pages to read screaming at your kindle cliffhanger. (I threw mine across the room..::don't judge::) This book was amazing and I have to say..Shake is by far my favorite book in The Club Girl Diaries Series so far and I cannot wait to read the epic conclusion to Ham & Meyah's story.

This is my favorite book in this series. Or I guess I should say that this book and the next book, Meyah, are my favorite books in the series because this book ends in a cliffhanger and continues into the next one. I just read them both straight through and pretend that it is one long book. But I absolutely love the couple and I love the growth of the story throughout two books.
Meyah has always been in love with Ham (aka Shake). Ham is a member of the MC that Meyah’s uncle is a part of and she was had a crush on him since she was a teenager. Ham knows that he is too old for her but he also knows that there is something about her that he really likes and wants to protect. Meyah is now 18 and the book opens with her finally standing up for herself against her bully at school. The situation throws Ham and Meyah together and the two of them realize that they don’t want to stay away from each other anymore.
I really love Ham. I love that he always wants to be there for Meyah. Their relationship is just so cute and sexy and I love how the characters just want to be together.
I also really love the way that Meyah grows throughout this story. In the beginning, Meyah does seem a little childish. She seems to throw tantrums in her mind and argues with her mother in a way that makes it seem like she is trying to say she is an adult without acting like an adult. Luckily this changes very quickly. Meyah really comes into her own during this book. It is easy to see that she is gaining confidence in herself and in her ability to go after what she wants.
This book (and the next one) is something that I loves so much that I would start them over right now to read them again. I love this couple both together and individually and I love the story as a whole.

Shake is the eighth title in The Club Girl Diaries. I've read every title in this series, and to get the most from this book, I would recommend reading the previous titles as you will understand slight nuances and mentions of events in the story line.
Shake is part one of Meyah and Hamlet's story. The chemistry and connection between this pair has been in the background for several titles and I've been eagerly awaiting their story. Both characters are strong, endearing and complex.
Ham aka Shake hasn't had an easy life, he's a survivor, and an alpha to the core. Protective, caring and loving, he's loyal and will do anything for his family whether it be The Brothers by Blood MC, or his siblings Romeo and Ophelia.
Despite being raised around the MC Meyah has lived a sheltered life, with an overprotective and controlling mother. Whilst spending time with Ham, and the other Brothers by Blood, she blossoms and grows into a strong and confident young woman.
The chemistry between Meyah and Ham is undeniable, their banter is fun and flirtatious and the love scenes hot and steamy.
I wouldn't recommend reading this title if you have somewhere to be, as once I picked it up I couldn't put it down. It's a story full of twists and turns with intrigue, mystery, suspense and emotion throughout.

Okay so I’ll be honest right from the start, although this is the 8th book in this series it was the first I had read!! I know, I know how is that even possible in fact this was the first book I had read by this author, to all you Addison Jane fans I am sorry, and to those, like me that haven’t read this author before, one-click, one-click now!!!
Ham and Meyah, I loved this couple, another honest moment here...I didn’t think I would love them or the story because of Meyah only being 18, but this story just worked. With drama and angst from the outset I couldn’t read it quick enough, luckily for me I was stuck in a train for 2 hours so has plenty of uninterrupted reading time. Ham was a great character loyal and determined, and dedicated to those things that matter to him the most. Meyah, well she was just a sweetheart, this book really showed her strengths, no matter how many times she got knocked down she came back stronger and fighting for what she wanted and deserved.
Loved all the supporting characters and I have promised myself that I will indeed be going back to read each of their stories.
This book was so well written that even though I jumped in at book 8 I wasn’t lost, more intrigued hence going back to read the others in the series.
This book packed a punch or two in the emotions stakes, now by the end of this story I had not only found another author that I love but I hated her for a little while too, she has left me hanging, and I am so not the patient type when it comes to my books 😩😩 I need the conclusion to Ham and Meyah’s story, like yesterday 😂
Simply put I loved this book it was amazing, the end.

This is part one to Hamlet and Meyah Love story. It is raw, vulnerable and emotional. With this book you feel like you are going along this journey with them.
This book can be read as a stand-alone but I would recommend reading the other books as it may spoil who the other club members end up with and give some other stuff away. But completely your choice.
I was so excited to be seeing everyone from the clubhouse again, makes me fall in love with them even more. This story is emotional, Hamlet past is sad, learning the battle he had to go through to get his brother and sister from foster care after a tragedy striker their family.
The club comes together, the brotherhood comes together to help. Their will be murder, revenge, bloodshed.
I absolutely loved the chemistry and connection meyah and Hamlet had. It was intense and you can see the love they have for each other is strong.
Meyah has always felt like their has been something missing in her life, not knowing who her dad is, questions she wants to ask him, like why did you leave my mum, weren’t we good enough. All unfolds and she finds out who her father is.
There is so much more that happens in this book, but I didn’t want to spoil too much. I like to write reviews on how I would like to see them. Gives you a bit of info but not to much that would spoil the book, because what would be the point of reading it if it was spoiled. Am I right?
Emotions rise, heartbreak, heartache and pain is in this book. This book will consume you and intrigue you. It was such an amazing read. Can’t believe it took me so long to read it.

I'm not sure what I was thinking, but I've come to The Club Girl Diaries very fashionably late, and trust me, I'm kicking my own behind because of it. Especially since I was blown away by Shake. Now before I try to give a few hints at what I just experienced, I have to address the cliffy that I just flipped out over! Trust me when I say that I'm dying here, as I hang off of that cliff by one fingernail, so I have added Addison Jane to the list of authors trying to KILL ME DEAD, and she's earned herself a new hash tag forevermore, #EVILWHORE, because I'm so jacked up. The twists alone before that ending had the f-bombs dropping, but now that button is broken. Basically this story is about Meyah & Ham, who have a strong attraction to each other, but both have some demons to face while they navigate their new relationship. He has found his family that he lost to the system, while she is learning where she came from. In the midst of their insane chemistry that exploded into a fiery flame shower to light the sheets up during sexy times, there is danger lurking around every corner. And of course the Brothers by Blood MC members with their old ladies, are a great cast of secondaries that added more depth to the story. Addison Jane is brilliant, albeit mean leaving me like she did, with a talented writing style that had me all in from cover to cover. The next book cannot come out quickly enough to settle me down, but in the meantime, I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

Omg Addison you done it again!! Book one of Ham and Meyah’s story is just amazing, no cross that PHENOMENAL!!! ♥️♥️
I swear five stars does not even justify, seriously I wish we could rate higher!! I literally laugh 😆 and cry 😭 so much!! Wow what an emotional reading and we still missing the second part! I can only imagine the next one will be more mind blowing then what already is!! 🤯😆
I really love how Addison took her time to tell their story, nothing rushed, and I feel it was so important to take this pace because with Ham and Meyah past history we need to know how it all began and if their families can come together after all they been through.
One thing I must say is that girls get the tissues ready because you will get so emotional, like really emotional because it’s going break you heart knowing how much Ham’s family have been affected by their separation and also with Meyah moms past secrets.... Like seriously too many secrets that needs to be unfold!!
I really can’t wait for the next book because the cliffhanger had me on the floor!! I wanted to scream!!! I really need to know what happens next, there are so much unanswered questions!!

I swear five stars does not even justify, seriously I wish we could rate higher!! I literally laugh 😆 and cry 😭 so much!! Wow what an emotional reading and we still missing the second part! I can only imagine the next one will be more mind blowing then what already is!! 🤯😆
I really love how Addison took her time to tell their story, nothing rushed, and I feel it was so important to take this pace because with Ham and Meyah past history we need to know how it all began and if their families can come together after all they been through.
One thing I must say is that girls get the tissues ready because you will get so emotional, like really emotional because it’s going break you heart knowing how much Ham’s family have been affected by their separation and also with Meyah moms past secrets.... Like seriously too many secrets that needs to be unfold!!
I really can’t wait for the next book because the cliffhanger had me on the floor!! I wanted to scream!!! I really need to know what happens next, there are so much unanswered questions!!

Holy shot!!! One heck of a book!
WTF did I just read?!? I knew Ham aka Shake and Meyha 's story was going to be A-Maz-Ing but it blew my expectations out of the water! Addison Jane definitely knows how to write thrilling, engrossing, edge of your seat books. Ones filled with drama, love, romance, violence and heavy topics rolled into a brilliant series! A series of books where bikers are the hotties and good guys along with some kick
@$$ women! These men pledge love, loyalty, protection they're women, brothers and the club!
I don't agree with anything illegal however, when the question arises as to how far and what lengths would I go to protect my kids, family and friends? To the end of the earth and if go down swinging to keep them from harm and safe! Hurt my kids or family expect repercussions10 fold! So are some of the things these boys do illegal? Yep! Would I do the same to protect my family? Yep! Don't touch my kids and I'm your best friend! Harm them, I'll be your worst nightmare!
This book is a little different than the other ones. Ham and Meyha have known each other for years, Ham has watched over her and stayed away giving Meyha time to mature and live life. Meyha is not a club girl. This book doesn't have a hea, doesn't have an ending leading into the next couples story, but ends on a cliffhanger. Continued characters and storylines. Read in order for full enjoyment and of course you have to with Ham aka Shake and Meyha's story. Free with K.U.

The Phoenix Club Girl Diaries is how I found Addison Jane. When I finished reading the two books in that series, I jumped back to start at the beginning with The Club Girl Diaries series because the worlds are interconnected. Actually, all her worlds are interconnected so I’m looking forward to going back and reading these connections because I’m just OCD about things like that LOL
I didn’t not like the series, but I was very unimpressed with the storylines. For me, and maybe that comes from reading so much, they were too predictable and the inconsistencies in the plot were something I just couldn’t get past. Some of the editing errors throughout the stories are huge. Everything from grammar to simple spelling to using Columbian instead of Colombian (as an example) ran ramped thru every book. Some of the books touched on some intense life circumstances but yet I felt no real tug of emotion when I read them.
Since I’ve read her recent work, I can safely say that most of this has improved with the newer stories, at least of the ones I’ve read. The Phoenix series reads on a much higher lever than this one, in my opinion, so I’m looking forward to reading her future work and see how she continues to connect her worlds.
