Cynthia Marcano is a native Jersey girl enamored of Jesus, reading, and cake, born and raised in Southern New Jersey to Puerto Rican parents. I enjoyed reading this book. It was a short prayer book. I also liked how at the end of the prayers, there were scriptures you could look up.
I was given a copy from the author for my honest review.

Absolutely loved this book. I would call this a modern day book of Psalms. The prayers in this book are prayers based on verses in the Bible and they spoke right to my broken heart. God used these prayers to help me grieve and to reach down and heal my heart. I read each prayer out loud and during several of them I was in tears as God used them to touch my heart. I felt like these prayers were my very own. So if you are struggling with a broken heart or feel rejected or disappointed, I highly recommend this book. It will reach your deepest places.
