A very basic introduction to the main battles and personalities in the American Revolution. If you do not have much background to it, this is a good place to start. But it is basic.

I had to read this to become more familiar with the history, setting, and causes of the American Revolution. It was like a visit to the dentist! It is something you have to do, but nothing about it was enjoyable. The illustrations were cool, but I can't believe that this book is for a child...poor child.
