No growth
There is no growth and alot of her books are recycled. This is kinda like She Needed Me. Half Black/Italian family....All of her books are about a group of girls who are friends or related and a group of boy related or cloae friends. Girls are virgins are a bit inexperienced. One or the other has a crazy ex, either into drugs, gang bangers or illegal activity. I'm readying the same thing.....but i guess you keep doing it if it sales. She gets 2 stars because it wasnt some overly disrespectful male lead like the others. I'd love to see her grow as an author, be different, take risk. I probally won't read another series until they're changes......

This story was such a wild ride! I really enjoyed it from start to finish. It took me on an emotional journey, and I had to pause the audio a few times just to gather my thoughts. I love when a story makes me feel so much—definitely a thumbs up for that! I’m all about experiencing those feelings. But if a story doesn’t make me feel anything, it’s a thumbs down for me. I really enjoyed this one so it's a 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 for me 🤷🏾😊

The book could have been better. Too much happening and not enough growth. I have read all of her books and this book starting off wasn’t the strongest. Hopefully part two brings in more character info regarding the brothers, they seem more interesting

I loved this book! Conquer is definitely bae! I loved that although this was fiction, the situations seemed realistic! The author gave you just enough of gangsta, romance, drama, and foolishness to keep you engaged and the characters still human like. I appreciated that.

THIS WAS A GREAT STORYLINE!!!
LAWDDDDDD some much is going on!!!! That ending though!!!! I got a feeling their Uncle and their older brother is behind the shooting of Shon and his father... I hope Conquer is staying true to his word and get that party and save Owen!!!! So much jealousy and hate I can’t wait!!! I can’t wait for part 2!!!

What ?!
The story seemed all over the place with no clear direction . I have never been bored reading her previous work or find myself skipping through chapters .
I did not feel a connection to any of the main characters especially Owen. Conquer and Twyla relationship was completely ridiculous . It does not make any sense why Twyla felt that strongly about sex but expected Conquer to be okay with it .
Kove , Bleu ,and his baby momma storyline is predictable but boring.
This story moved fast but at a very slow rate if that makes any sense . There was a lot of unnecessary characters and chapters . I was kinda lost to the plot of the book . I do not know about part two .

Too much…
Not one of my likes by far from this author. The characters were too confused on what/who they wanted to be with, everyone seemed to be switching teams and it was just too much.

OMG!!!!!!I loved this book
I can’t even find the words to describe how much I loved this book. I absolutely adore Ashonti. I’ve never allowed myself to have a book bae from one of Shvonne’s book but now I can say that Conquer is it. I read this book in record speed. I’m dying to read the next book. The ending though!?!? Shvonne knows how to leave you feigning for more.
I love Ashonti and Owen together and I hope they work it all out in the next book. They have so many haters and I just want them to win. I also hope Bleu develops a backbone in the next book.
Let me add that I was really feeling the new twist to this story. Shvonne always finds ways to make you love her books more and more. The girl on girl action was different but interesting. I don’t swing that way but it was cool reading about something different. She still incorporated some sexy men but she also gave a different spin. That’s what a truly great writer does. Continue to give us good books while changing things up and making it great, as usual.
Shvonne is one of my all time favorite authors. Her books are the damn truth. Having said that, I highly highly highly recommend reading this book. You will not be disappointed.

This introduction is 🔥🔥🔥🔥and the bomb. Wow, who are these people? I mean it was a little bit much but oh well:
Ashonti "conquer" is all that...man I do I get conquered? Where can I get conquered? He is alpha to the triple power and so much more, as into boss man, and everything else... Oh my goodness... Handsome, well endowed, thus man is a walking sex on stick
Owen, well beautiful, strong. Intelligent but truly gets a little bit on my nerve, yet she is made to be conquered. She is boss lady and queen...
Kove and Bleu need to either do it or not as well as Johan and Carmin. But Bleu gets on my nerve so much and Sumi is something else. Kove is too soft, not man enough (hope it will change in part2) and Johan is the same. They need to get their stuff together. Ido think we will hear the last of Domenico or Tyla. I think Kylei got the message hopefully. I do hope that conquer get Travis's behind this time. And Autumn, something is not right there!
So let me go to continue with this reviews, but it's safe to say that you should definitely think of getting this series after I read this introduction.

This book was good from the first page and kept getting better and better. Held me captive from beginning to the end and wouldn't let go. Loved the storyline, plot and these characters and it moved at a fast yet steady pace. Full of action, drama, lies, secrets and jealousy that made it entertaining and intriguing. Sparks was flying between Owen and Conquer from the start and their chemistry was amazing. They were made for each other and hope that can overcome all the obstacles that's coming their way. You can tell Domencio, Tyla and Dezi are going to a big problem, they don't know how to stay in their place. Bleu needs to open her eyes and see who and what Jamee really is. Now with the ending something is not right, Travis just all of a sudden showing up...Got me wondering about Autumn. Can't wait to see what's next with Kove, Carmin and Johan. Very well written and job well done Shvonne Latrice.

This book was crazy. Owen was a good girl that dealt with some things when she was younger. She never spoke on it so nobody knew why she made the choices she made. I felt so bad for her. I loved me some Shon. That man was everything. I couldn’t stand his older brother. That one wasn’t worth two cents. He was off the chain and didn’t care what he aired out. He didn’t take anything serious. The rest of the guys were cool. Johan was a cool dude as well. He just needed to handle his personal affairs. Tyla and Khylie both worked my nerves. Tyla should have expected to lose her man because she was too timid and reserved for no reason at all. Khylie was just full of it. I am so ready to see how things play out because that ending had me shocked and praying things didn’t go the way o think they did.

Their relationship is so cute i love it. I really hope it want don who was behind shon getting shot...Kyleigh needs to get hers, i hope Owen beat her ass and dezi needs to just face the fact she doesn’t want her im glad she beat both of their asses. Omg I’m so happy to have read yet another amazing story from you. Owen and Ashonti are made for each other and I hope they get it together soon. I love Owens feisty personality and how unapologetic she is for being her. Ashonti is just an all around BOSS. I love how calm he is, but intimidating at the same time. He demands respect without having to speak. He is so sweet when it comes to Owen though and they balance each other out. Bleu is my girl, but I need her to get it together, she has something good in front of her and is passing it up for less. That goes for Kove as well. They need to let these exes go and move forward together. I have so much more to say, but that would be too much. Great story and you never fail to amaze me. I need part 2 like right now! Keep up the great work!

To each it’s own but from the beginning we knew the female character was a lesbian and there will be tons of scenes with lesbian activities. Those scenes I skipped thru out the book. What happened to Owen at a young she was just sad, and traumatic and it turned her against men and she never had a boyfriend in her life. What happened to her shaped her in being into the lesbian lifestyle. Bleu and Owen scenes with those activities I continued to skip. Now Bleu got no sense at all regarding her girlfriend. Owen at least got some sense and will not tolerate ex-girlfriends.
Conquer don’t play but the rest of the male supporting casts left a lot to be desired. One with three BMs SMH.
I will continue to read the remainder of the series minus the lesbian activities. Again to each it’s own.

I’m a HUGE Shvonne Latrice fan & wtbs I’m familiar with her writing style & how she crafts stories. I will say that the character dynamic of Owen is something that I haven’t read from her before & was thoroughly surprised by. For the most part I enjoyed watching the relationship between Owen & Ashonti develop. However, I started to really dislike the book around 74-ish percent when other character started to get their own POV & other storylines were being created. I just didn’t like that (which could definitely be a ME thing which is why I continued reading it). I think the ending is why, for now, I’m not stun the other two books because it seems random 🤷🏾♀️ there was no tension or buildup that the ending could possibly happen. Other than those two things I enjoyed the book. The drama was giving, the mafia vibes was giving, & Ashonti had some character development which I liked.

Hopefully someone gets to Owen in time, I definitely don’t believe she deserves for that to happen to her again. I looooooove Ashonti, that man plays no games when it comes to business or Owen. I can’t stand Domencio, I know he gone be trouble. Tyla was kinda annoying and Kyleigh and Dezi were super delusional 🤦🏾♀️ Bleu needs to leave Jamee all the way alone, got her out here looking like a whole 🤡 Kove also needs to get his his self together as far as leaving his bm Sumi alone. I hope Ashonti comes and gets to Owen before that clown rapes her again because Travis deserved a good old mafia ass whooping. Carmin needs to get out of her dead relationship and so does Johan because they seem like they can be a breath of fresh air for each other. Bleu and Kove needs to get their love lives in order. Sumi is out of control and so is Jamee. Bleu is acting like a dumb blond and Kove surely is not using his baby mama. Tyla with her land self needs a prude to match her because Ashonti I'd way out of her league. Who shot Ashonti and who killed his father. So many questions! I can't wait til the next book drops!

SHVONNE LATRICE HAS DONE IT AGAIN!
On the day of this book's release, I had minor eye surgery and was told "....absolutely no eye strain". But what was I to do. I, like so many others, had been waiting for 3/23 so that we could read the latest project from Ms. Latrice. Well, to be honest, I started to read but soon common sense prevailed and I had to wait a few days before jumping in.
The slight delay in my beginning to read this sexy, make-you-smile, make-you-frown, raise-your-eyebrows, furrow-your-eyebrows, suck-your-teeth, shake-your-head bonafide banger .... only made the experience more enjoyable! Well done, Shvonne, well done!

What a great book
This was a really great book from the beginnings of the book you already know by reading the first paragraph that this was going to be something that you didn't want to put down until you read it all. This was a really great book from the beginnings of the book you already know by reading the first paragraph that this was going to be something that you didn't want to put down until you read it all. This was a good read STRESSFUL but good. That prologue almost took me out. I’m sorry you experienced that Owen. I can’t believe so much secrecy is going on. I was pissed Conquer had lied to Owen. I hate how Owen thinks she can handle everything when she doesn’t. Baby…., Tyla, Conquer momma, Owen daddy, Kylee, Desi, Jamie, Nauro, and Domonico can all be unalived cause they are the absolute worst. But I digress. This book has lots of drama, betrayal, hurt, cheating, and even love. I love how Conquer loves Owen and how he cares for her. He’s a beast yet so gentle when it comes to her. I just need them to get on the same page. Looking forward to see what takes place in part 2. Great read!

I thoroughly enjoyed all three books in this series! Each installment was packed with drama and suspense, and the cliffhangers at the end of the first two books were so gripping that I couldn’t wait to dive into the next one. The author did an excellent job of dropping tidbits throughout the story, keeping me hooked and wanting more with every chapter.
The final book was the perfect conclusion, tying up all the loose ends and delivering the closure needed after the twists and turns of the first two books. Overall, this series was a fantastic read from start to finish!

Owen was turned off from men due to being raped at 15. She is now only dating women until she meets Conquer and it's on! A lot happens with these 2 and his ex as well as Kyleigh who he just uses.His mother is in cahoots with his ex Tyla and his brother Domenico wants to be in charge of their organization. At the end a blast from the past shows up at this party Owen is attending with her sister Autumn. What will happen next! Jamee and Bleu got some stuff going on. There are bad relationships that need to end and new ones trying to develop but road blocks keep occurring. Great series so far!

My mouth is still on the floor and I don't think I'll be able to pick it up until you drop pt2. Lol Woooow, that ending totally shock me. I thought it would be Dom who would run up on Owen but that's what I get for underestimated you LMAO!!! Please hurry with pt2 I can wait to see all the couples! Omg what about Nicoloas& Atumum? Are they going to get together I think they would be a really good couple. I think her loud wild side will be a perfect match with his quiet and cool demeanor. What about Zuko? And who killed pops?

I read this book so slow because I couldn’t get enough of Mr. Ferrari. His assertiveness had me ready to bow down to whatever he said. I love how he is so balanced. Owen I really like how she demands so much but doesn’t have to say anything because it comes natural to want to give her the things she wants:desires. I really hope this situation at the end doesn’t make her back peddle all the progress she’s gained in dealing with it the first time. Conquer has to come through

I enjoyed it!
It's not as entertaining as my boo Ricky AK, but it was a pretty good book. I loved Conquer and Owen's relationship, but Owen needs to think about those pictures maybe then she can see that it was a setup. I hope someone saves her from that bathroom scene. Kove and Johan need to handle their relationships, and Kove needs to learn how to wrap his junk up and stop being so darn weak for his baby mama. Hope Conquer figures out what his mom and Tyla are up to. My question is how the author skip over the part about about Conquer's father?

Well this story left me wanting more and took me by surprise at the end. I wasn't feeling it in the beginning because I couldn't picture these characters acting like Italian mobsters. For some reason Domenico and Conquer came off as gayish instead of gangster. The women were harder. I also thought you had to be full Italian to be made men (Just saying). All these brothers were weird and that cousin too and they all had messy relationships. After a long while, I got into the story. Now I can't wait to see part 2.

Author Shvonne I'm your new reader DeeDee! I enjoyed reading this so I'm not go be long cause book 2 screaming my name lol all I know is Owen need to quit trippin and believe OUR man instead of some dumb hating ass female with no bedroom skills! Also, I hope Conquer kill Travis. Dude need to be stopped. If she don't get help from Conquer she should at least purchase a gun. Old girl ( I forgot her name) dumb as hell for giving Jamee another chance. I believe she go break her heart again but that's on her. The girl stupid smh but here I come book 2!
