This has to be my favorite so far and maybe because I'm rather very biased towards Santelmos hahaha. I love the art, I love the story, I love the concept. I just really love this one. Looking forward to getting a copy of the next issues though so far I don't feel like there's a bigger plot behind all the short stories. I hope there is but I guess I'll find out if I keep reading.
Having read the English versions of the series, this dark tale of lust, passion, and death treads on fire as a main element in how it fuels one's intentions, as it also destroys relationships. Focusing on an entity that uses the flesh and people who are in the trade to get revenge on a part failure, the characters in this third case for Trese and her cohorts makes for an interesting track of supernatural connections, the city, Filipino culture, and timely issues on poverty, prostitution, and deceit.
