The talking teddy bear was creepy. Also I found at least one typo in here that made me question whether this was translated properly or not to Hindi but I double checked a couple other passages with ChatGPT and they were correct, so that’s good. But I’ve read another review of someone questioning the translation of the book as well so I don’t think I’m going to keep reading this series just in case there are errors in the Hindi it defeats the purpose of me reading it a little (to improve my Hindi)
I love to share is a very terrific story and lesson in it,too!
What a great ebook for children to read and to learn that sharing can be fun. So,I recommend this for ages 3-8 years of age. And because it is a really neat with a very good Moro in it, it also has more brilliantly colored pictures too. And this is why I am it giving five stars. I received this ebook for free and in return for it,here is my honest review. Great work Shelley! By Angela
Good old Jimmy the bunny is teaching by example again. It is great being able to read fun, educational stories to my child and she loves this series! Best of all if the fact that these are available in bilingual editions as well so we can practice our Spanish at the same time. Shelley Admont does a wonderful job creating wholesome and engaging books that don't feel forced or awkward in the lesson they teach.
Personally, I don't just like to share. I also like very much how this picture book encourages readers to share. And I definitely love that this is "one book, two languages."
Jimmy is learning the hard way that not sharing his toys can cut down on enjoyment.
Thank goodness for his wise teddy bear, the talking one. The Teddy bear who recommended sharing:
"Try it," insisted his teddy bear. "Just try it."
Thanks to author Shelley Admont. Thanks to illustrators Sonal Goyal and Sakhuja. Please share my FIVE STARS.
GOODREADERS, HAVE YOU NOTICED THIS YET
Sometimes the most spiritual books... and books that contain teachings at the heart of every religion... aren't labeled as such.
This is an English to Mandarin or the other way around story. It's a good little book, but not a beginning book. They don't have the pin yin at all, so I can't say the words. They have long sentences with English and then the Mandarin, so I really can't isolate too many characters to figure out what says what. I still learned some new things. I figured out brother.
The story is a nice little story about sharing with your family for true happiness. Young rabbit just had a birthday and doesn't want to share his toys.
The artwork is fine.
I am not at this level yet. I appreciate the simpler books for learning the language. Still, a good beginning place to start.
I Love to Share is a sweet and simple bilingual story that teaches kids the joy of sharing through Jimmy and his bunny brothers. With text in both Hindi and English, it's perfect for young learners exploring either language while learning a valuable life lesson.
An absolutely wonderful way for a child to learn to share --- as your telling him/her the story - could as him/her questions as to why he was selfish whatever he being selfish about. The bunnies are adorable - illustrations are great! A good way to learn!
I didn't know Shelley's books but after this one I want to read more books by her. I think they can be an easy and important reading for when I have kids in the future.
