I was given this audiobook and exchange for an honest review.
I have listed below all of the books in this Anthology and given a brief review of each story. Overall this audiobook is a solid 3. I cannot go higher because one of the books really just completely annoyed me to no end and the very first book in the series was not complete at all whatsoever. And then the last book in the series was not complete either. It completely drove me nuts to no end.
Teresa Stephens was an okay narrator. I just don't like the fact that all of the females and all of the story sounded the same. As well as all of the men sounded the same. I just wanted a bit of a distinction between all of the characters even though they're all separate books.
Tempting Olivia's Father
This is a short story about two people who met back in high school. Scarlett moved away when she was 16 and had a major crush on Caleb who was 21 when they first met. Scarlett ends up moving back to their small town and into her childhood home as well which conveniently enough is next to Caleb. Scarlett has a vague background and so does Caleb. I understand this is a short story however I would have liked more information pertaining to the two characters. I do love Olivia, she is super cute and I am glad that she actually has some speaking roles. The story was good enough however it was left unfinished. I don't get the ending and I wanted more.
Nanny to Mommy
Stacy is sort of an enigma. She wants to be taken care of however she does not want to be a kept woman. She is independent however wants to be with an older man that is established so she does not have to help someone her own age. Stacy just confuses me as a whole. However I do like Stacy even though she is an enigma. Jeffrey is your typical alpha male who is a single father. He does Chase Stacy and is okay with her wanting to take things slow. Stacy does not want to cross the line of employee and employer however it does end up happening. So I am kind of annoyed with this story. They do get there happily ever after however this story is finished whereas Tempting Olivia's Father was not. Why is Nanny to Mommy finished and Tempting Olivia's Father is not?
Scarlett’s Initiation
The story starts with Michael meeting his daughter, Alice, for the first time. Scarlet, the title character, is the nanny of Alice. When Alice's dad Michael goes to retrieve her he promptly advises Scarlett that she is coming along for the ride. I don't understand the relationship between Michael and Scarlett. Also the sucks does not seem realistic to me at all whatsoever. There is a part where they have anal sex and they do not have any type of lubrication whatsoever and that just makes my butt clench in pain. I just didn't like the story.
Under His Spell
Elijah is going through a custody battle with his no good abandoning baby mama. His lawyer informed him that he needs to be more stable. As in becoming a one woman man and not a bachelor with the kid. Audrey, the heroine, is going through a lot. By trade she is a nanny but currently she's unemployed and struggling to take care of her little brother, Jack. Addison, the elusive baby mama only cares about herself. She doesn't want anything to do with her daughter but only is concerned about what her husband thinks of her. Audrey and Elijah work out their issues and again they have a happy ending. This book is not as bad as Scarlett's Initiation but still not as good as Nanny to Mommy, even though it is incomplete 😐😣😥 and Tempting Olivia's Father.
