Being Principe of an ancient vampire dynasty comes with difficult choices. For Byron Debrek that means putting the good of her clan and innocent mortals over her own desires. When she falls for the first woman to set her blood on fire in centuries, Byron must harden her heart and walk away.

For Amelia Honey, a suit designer at a Savile Row tailor, the six months spent with her first love were the most wonderful time of her life. Byron made her feel like a princess and awakened her darkest sexual desires. But then she disappeared, leaving her nothing but a first-class plane ticket and a broken heart.

When a dangerous enemy befriends Amelia, Byron is compelled to act. Will she be able to regain Amelia’s trust and protect her? Or will pain and anger drive Amelia into the hands of Byron’s enemies, and into the middle of a vampire war?

3.25 Stars. I’m a huge paranormal fan. I love all types of supernaturals but I hold a special place in my heart for vampires. Not the sparkly kind, but the ones with some grit. Whenever I see a new paranormal lesfic book it just makes me instantly happy. (Just like lesfic fantasy and sci-fi, there never seems to be enough) I really do appreciate when authors in lesfic write them. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the book I hoped for. It’s not bad, I would actually say slightly better than okay. It’s just that I wanted a great vampire book.

The first 1/3 of the book I really struggled with. It seems to only be about sex and blood. Nothing else was really happening and I was losing patience quickly. Luckily, the middle third picked up and I finally felt like I was getting into the story. Then the final third started to go down again. I guess my point is the main premise is there, the execution is just not coming all together. I can see potential in this as a series, but this first book didn’t really hit its mark.

I enjoyed Amelia, the human character. She was likeable and stood up for herself. I had trouble with Byron though. Byron is this “dapper” butch character who is supposed to be the biggest, baddest vamp ever. I love strong kick-ass women, but her character came across as almost whiney to me. I just didn’t get what was so great about Byron. I do have to say I really liked the secondary characters. I can easily see this being a series. You can actually guess which charters and couples could star in the next book like Alexis and Katie. I found myself more interested in their possible story than I did in the main couple.

My biggest disappointment really was the action or lack thereof. To make a really great paranormal book, it should be at least 50% action. This book felt like maybe 20% action? It just was not enough to sustain this length of book.

I definitely had issues with this, but it’s an okay story. The premise is there and I am holding out hope the next book will be much better. I already like the potential of a book staring almost any of the secondary characters. I just hope Frame will put some good action in book 2.

P.S. The short Dapper is a prequel to this book. It is when Amelia and Byron first meet. You don’t have to read it, but I was glad I did.

An ARC was given to me by BSB, for a honest review.

Byron Debrek, billionaire banker and head of the Debrek vampire clan, is in love with Amelia Honey, Savile Row tailor. Amelia has her misgivings about Byron because she keeps missing dates or having to dash out at short notice to see someone but Amelia doesn’t know that Byron is a vampire. They’re in love with each other but neither can say the words – Amelia because of the missed dates and secrecy and Byron because she can’t bear to see the look of disgust when her secret discovered.

I liked premise of the story which has a lot more to it than indicated above but I’m not so sure about the execution. There are some things missing in construct like why they’re all day-walkers but that might have been explained in Dapper which is 0.5 in the series and I haven’t read it yet. It doesn’t bother me that they’re day-walkers but I would like to know why. Vampire themed books are quite often a vehicle for eroticism but this came across more as a love story. The chemistry between Byron and Amelia was more intermittent than constant.

Amelia Honey is a lovely character. She’s got great attitude, won’t allow Byron to treat her time as less valuable because she’s a tailor and has a lot of strength. Byron was more problematic. I hate her name because I was unable to see her as a woman and I’ve read books with woman characters with names like Graham, Michael and Kyle and didn’t have a fraction of the difficulty that I had with Byron. I think it’s also, in part, due to her characterisation. I couldn’t see her in my head and every time I read her name I had to stop, realign my thinking and continue. Even writing this is difficult because I want to use masculine pronouns.

In future instalments I wouldn’t mind reading about the other characters like Alexis, Katie, Bhal, Daisy and Victorija but it would mean getting beyond Byron.

Book received from Netgalley and Bold Strokes Books for an honest review.

F/F Vampire romance story, but honestly not that great.

Meet Amelia, a London suit tailor and Byron the strongest vampire in existence and the leader of the Debrek vampire clan. Things start of good with lots of tension, likable characters and the setup of a good villain. And then the plot arrives and things go a bit wonky. Lots of Hot&Cold action between the romantic leads and the ever present "I can't tell you my secrets, because they would endanger you" cliché. Of-course Amelia is in danger regardless, but now she is badly hurt because her lover spurned her.

In all there probably was a good story underneath this all, but I couldn't really see it. The continuous back and forth between hot and cold and the overly cartoonish villain, combined with the dramatic declarations of "goodness", "nobleness" and "responsibility" put me of the characters and, in the end, the story. I mostly skimmed the latter 25% of the novel, to get to the end faster and continue with something different.

Others my find this novel more appealing, but it really didn't click with me.

Reader advice:I would advise any readers to invest in the prequel short story Dapper before reading Hunger For You.

Well I wasn’t expecting that! To tell you the truth I had put Hunger For You off as long as I could. I love Jenny Frames books but I’m not a fan of paranormal genres so with trepidation (and because I loved the prequel Dapper), I started and oh my, was I wrong to be worried. It was fantastic.

I actually wasn’t planning to read this one because vampire books aren’t typically my thing. That changed when someone told me that Frame’s erotic short story Dapper is the prequel for Hunger for You. Because I’d read that story, I suspect I enjoyed Hunger for You a lot more than I might have otherwise, because it gives us Byron and Amelia’s first meeting and an intriguing “happy for now” ending.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. The worldbuilding was excellent and I liked how Frame put vampires into our world in a way that makes sense. I also think this is the first true erotic romance I’ve read by her, with the sex informing Byron and Amelia’s relationship development in ways that we don’t see in her other stories.

Amazing!

A page turning tale of things that aren't as they seem. It has a mesmerizing storyline, exciting characters with an insatiable hunger for blood. There is magic and a beautiful love story. Hunger For You is a rollercoaster of excitement and highly recommended.

I'm totally in love with this narrator, but was disappointed to learn that she does not narrate all of Frame's books. She did a beautiful job with every character's voice, and even if it did take me a page or two to get used to Byron's lower timber, which suited her perfectly, I still loved it. As I said down below in my original review, I still love Victorija. Listening to her as opposed to reading her was even better, and I couldn't help but outright laugh at some of her antics, reactions, and words that fell from her vicious mouth. I do hope for something more for her because she is a character to cherish, no matter how much she is hated for her evil ways.

Hunger For You was my second lesfic novel I had ever read. I bought it on paperback two years ago, and after reading it once, I read it three more times after. I had to give it a break because the spine was complaining.

Where do I begin?

Well, I am sucker for Vampires, pun intended ;) and butch lesbians. Byron DeBrek was all that and more. Holy Hell. She was tall, handsome, stupidly handsome with perfect hair, perfect manners, chivalrous, and damn, she knew how to own and rock a well-tailored suit. She also discreetly wore something she kept hidden from us. Now, if you had read Miss Frame's short erotica 'Dapper', a story about how Byron and Amelia met, then the stowed away secret would be no surprise. I was unaware of 'Dapper' the steamy story when I read Hunger, so I was shocked to the point where my insides jolted in surprise when I found out of Byron's little secret. I was still so new to the lesbian community that I didn't know about that kind of thing (I'm not giving it away for any newbies) and how appealing and arousing it was. Some don't like that kind of thing, and some thrive. Let's just say I had been introduced to something that piqued my interest in a major way, and I wanted more.

I was hooked from page one. The writing, the descriptive detail, everything. I watched, yes, I felt like I was watching instead of reading, Amelia and Byron interact with one another. Tender with an underlying sense of passion ready to burst and boil over. The more we dove into the story, the more we learned that their relationship was not perfect due to the fact that Byron had a secret she had tried to hide from Amelia. The first half of this book was watching Byron struggle with her hunger and keeping it away from Amelia, and watching Amelia's reactions towards Byron's actions; frustrated and shunned. I adored the reason why Byron was suffering so much because Amelia was her princepessa. Her other half, her soulmate, her bond. Once they finally came together as one, and I do mean as one, it was beautiful and passionate. I love Jenny's sex scenes, she doesn't shy away.

The side characters added the perfect touch to this passionate love story. Alexis was the typical stoic, hardass soldier, Vampire, but I believed she had a soft spot for Katie, the servant living in Byron's mansion. (Maybe we'll see more progress between those two in future books) Bahl was my favourite. Quiet but kind, and the voice of reason for Byron. There should always be a 'Voice of Reason' character in every book for the protagonist, no matter how big or small their part is, and Bahl was that for Byron, in my opinion.

Not only was this a love story with a hungry Vampire needing blood from their princepessa to survive, there was also a lot of magic and witches who lent a hand for Byron and her group from the threat of Victorija, a distant cousin out for revenge. I actually liked Victorija. I felt bad for her, having being raised by a lazy, vindictive father. Which unfortunately, rubbed off on Victorija, making her only see red, wanting what she could never have or was told she could never have. She envied her cousin, Byron, for having all that power and strength. I honestly believe if she had been surrounded by more positivity she would be more like Byron. I think she has more to say in future books. At least, I hope she does.

Hunger For You is and will always be in my top 10, top 5, top 3, most favourite book to read. I cannot wait for more!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I highly enjoyed Frames take on Vampires, witches, and Weres. We get the Weres in Wolfgang County and now we get the Vampires and Witches with Amelia and Byron’s story.
I liked how the story starts off months after the short Dapper took place. I think it helps to see how their relationship developed but secrets still remained. I wanted to smack Byron when she left Amelia even though I understood her reasons. I loved that Amelia didn’t let those hurts hold her back when she found out what Byron needed. They love each other and I totally ship them. There are so many interesting secondary characters in the book that I want to know all there stories and I want them all to find a love like Amelia and Byron. I can’t wait for book two!

Received a copy from a free book giveaway, unfortunately, it was just not what I was expecting.

The main plot points were fine, but in a fantasy novel, I want the lore to do the heavy lifting at the beginning of the book to make room for all the emotional bits later on. There were some issues with pacing, especially around big angsty moments. I felt like there was all this potential for really interesting angst and it all just kind of resolved fairly quickly so we could get back to the steamy scenes.

The execution was a miss for me but I did enjoy the overall plot idea. I have heard that Frame's writing does improve as the series continues so that is something for me to look forward to, as well as some potentially tortured angst for one of the storylines.

A miss for me, but I have seen many other positive reviews. I would suggest trying it yourself to see!

Jenny Frame just knows how to craft an interesting plot with strong characters. This paranormal romance was another great and entertaining read by her. Apart from a prequel short story Dapper this is the first novel in the series and I'm totally hooked and so looking forward to the next book.

I absolutely love Jenny Frame as an author. I have read, and will read anything she writes. I have loved almost everything she has written, but this one is not my favorite. I am also a fan of paranormal romance, but this one just didn't do it for me. I wouldn't say this isn't a good book, it just didn't deliver. I will say I may have gone into this one with too high of expectations. I was excited she had written a vampire book and may have set myself up for failure. Expecting too much.

When I first began the book I debated on skipping this one. The beginning was a bit rough for me. I remember thinking this may be my first Frame book that I really do not like. I made myself continue and after you get through the beginning it gets better. Maybe around 40% or so… I really liked Amelia but Byron was not my favorite. By the end I thought it had recovered somewhat but it still wasn't on my Frame favorites list. Kind of hope book 2 is Alexis and Katie… I would read that book!

*ARC provided by Netgalley and the publisher for an honest review*

So I finished reading this book about a week back, but I decided to hold off on writing a review so that I wouldn't let my frustration with the authors repetitive storyline colour my review of this book. ( I might not be successful...)

I am a huge fan anything vampire related so when I saw that this was going to be a story that involves vampires,I didn't just jump on the bandwagon, I pretty much built it.

I tried to give this book the benefit of the doubt, even although I could already predict exactly how the story was going to pan out from the second chapter, but unfortunately the vampire aspect was not enough to win me over.

I can say that while I was not a huge fan of Amelia and Byron, I did come to like Victorija Dred because she was such a change from Frames normally chivalrous characters.

I will give this book 3 stars because; while I did not enjoy the fact that Amelia and Byron could have been any of Frame's other main characters, she did do a good job of creating the allure and mystery of a good vampire book.

I could never give this author less than three stars because she is a very good writer, but I think it is time I give her books a break for a while to cleanse my palate.

So I jumped on this story for very simple reasons.

VAMPIRE

BUTCH

WOMAN

I'm a bi woman who is generally more attracted to masculine women and they are so fucking difficult to find in romance. I am also a reader who loves fantasy/sci-fi/paranormal. So a butch vampire woman???? I thought I'd struck gold.

Now normally I'd do a "what did I like section", but the above basically sums up everything I liked about the story.

Okay not entirely fair. The sex was 🔥 too.

What didn't I like
* Innocence being the focus of Amelia. Seriously, every character keeps going on about how attractive her innocence is. It got old.

* How many vampries fell in love with Amelia for no other reason than her sweet innocense

* We are told too many times Byron is a billionaire. I get it. She rich. Move on.

* TSTL moments from both of them. These two make some pisspoor decisions quite a few times that were entirely predictable in their outcome.

* Pacing and contrived plot happenings
So we start the story with Amelia and Byron already being in a relationship, and them both struggling with how to get more serious and Byron with how to tell her about vampires.
Now, they are already in love. But me as a reader still needs to be sold on why these two make a good couple and why I should care about them getting their HEA. The book does a shit job of it. If they're not having sex, then they're either arguing, or Byron is running off again.
I don't get a feel for their chemistry as characters before they're already breaking up (which is the age old cliché of "for your safety).
These characters spend so little time together just talking that I seriously never saw why they were in love.
Then there was how contrived many of the dramatic scenes were. If the plot needed someone kidnapped then a TSTL moment would do the trick, or if someone should no longer be kidnapped the baddies would be super incompetent.
The vampires felt like incompetent toddlers.

* In the first part of the book Byron walks all over Amelia's boundaries. She will block Amelia from leaving if they're arguing, or keep grabbing her even when she tells her not to touch her. This gets better later in the book, but I hated how it was framed as a praise worthy point that Byron "let" Amelia have her life outside being her wife.

* The dub-con
So while I'd say there's no dub-con between Byron and Amelia, we frequently jump to the enemy Victorija. We also get to read sex scenes with her. She is fond of killing people after having sex with them. Most of the people having sex with her are super scared of her. So I just wanted to put that out there.

Final rating
Despite all this I fully inteded to give this 3 stars. Just because I was so happy to have found a masculine vampire woman. But you know what? Had this been MF. Nothing changed excapt either Amelia or Byron being a man I would not have given this more than two stars. So in the end that's what I'm giving it. 2 sad stars and I wish this story had been better.

Love me a vampire

This the second book I have read of Jenny frame. I thought the characters and storyline were well developed. We were introduced to all the characters and not one did I feel overwhelmed by that. I love paranormal storylines and Jenny frame did well doing the back story of the Debrek family line and then the Debred family. Thank you Jenny frame for a beautiful adventure. I definitely recommend this book.

This is a never judge a book by its early chapters kind. I was so bored initially I felt it was a waste but alas it got better. A lot of the character representation of Amelia and Byrone especially got me irritated often and that obviously generated the boredom.
Luckily the story as it progressed kind of got on a better distraction.
It is a series, so hopefully something better in the next book.

I listened to this a bit ago and am now just getting around to audio reviews because I had no idea that we could actually rate the audio versions. Anywho...Nicola Victoria Vincent is one of my favorite narrators. I just like her voice and she does a good enough job making each character distinct. I'm not one for paranormal stories but I like Jenny Frame and butch/femme themed stories so why not.
Honestly, for the narration I give it a 5 for me and a 4 for the story. Although I do wonder if this storyline will somehow blend with the Wolfgang one....hmmm

“Hunger for You (Amelia & Byron #1)” is lesfic, and I liked the narration, but the story was disappointing.

I listened to this last March, and I’m only now catching up on lots of reviews, but my bookmarks on this story have me scratching my head. I noted “mile high club”, “evil Victoria” doing Lillian and Elanora, Byron feeding from a volunteer servant Katie, and a few other disjointed things.

So all I remember is lesbian sex and drinking blood, nothing much about an actual plot. 3*

For 70% of the book, the story is happening as the synopsis. Their is nothing new. But after that for the last 30% the plot is awesome. Good story.

I'm sad to say that I really didn't enjoy this one. I was really just looking for a vampire book, which I got, but the story, romance and the characters really didn't do anything for me. It felt very cliched and predictable, so I found it quite hard to get through. I think if you are just looking for an entertaining story, this might be a good pick for you, but it really wasn't anything special. One thing that I did really like was some of the side characters, like Alexis and Katie. I think maybe another book is about them and I do hope so. To be honest I thought their tension, chemistry and overall relationship was more interesting than our mains.

I didn't actually like either of our mains very much. It's not like I didn't like them, its more that they just weren't anything special. Amelia felt like a character that I have read plenty of times. It actually started getting a bit frustrating that everyone was falling in love with her and pretty much fawning over how beautiful/innocent she was. I don't like it when characters are made out to be something overly special in this way, there's something about the main character just making everyone else fall in love with her that makes me role my eyes. I also thought that Byron would have been my kind of strong, dapper vampire love interest but she also didn't feel special. She was made out to be the strongest vampire of all time (or something like that) but I just wasn't convinced.

I feel like I'm complaining heaps but here we go. The romance also didn't jump out at me, especially at the end. They were already together at the beginning of the story (which is quite a unique way to start, I'll give it that), so we didn't get to explore the get-to-know-you stage. This is just a personal preference thing, given that the first meeting and tension at the start of the relationship is my favourite part to read about. It also meant that I wasn't convinced of their love for each other (which was meant to be a soul-mates, once-in-a-lifetime thing). I felt like it just came on too quick and was more of a tell-not-show thing. They confessed their undying love for each other enough times, but I didn't feel like Frame did a good enough job of showing it.

While I didn't like this book, I have enjoyed another book by Frame in the past. I am also really interested in Katie and Alexis' potential story, so I am open to giving it another try. I feel like a lot of what I didn't like in this book came from personal preference, especially regarding the romance and characters, so perhaps I'll enjoy another book by her more.

i’m just gonna start off with the negative cuz it’s just one major thing that stops the book tbh: it’s sloppily written. like, i’m not expecting jane austen or anything and it’s not the worst thing ever but sometimes, it’s just so painfully in your face and blunt. like instead of constantly telling us, some nice prose to spice things up would be really good. also? not necessarily a mistake on the book’s fault because to count this as a mistake is kinda unfair since i’m judging something outside the book but i think it would’ve been better if the book was longer and we started at the beginning of the main relationship?

anyway, this book was really fun. like i make fun of hetero “spicy” romance novels but i’m starting to see the guilty pleasure appeal (because everything’s better with lesbians) cuz i could not put this down. the characters weren’t the best things ever but thank God they weren’t paper thin cardboard cutouts. i can say wholeheartedly that i actually like them. (and it’s not just cuz i’m attracted to like half of them).

honestly was incredibly happy to find out that the other books explore the other characters 😭 i’m so invested in all this dykey butch/femme vamp drama. thank you jenny for this fr

So this was my first book by this author. I was super stoked since it was a supernatural book, more specifically my all time fav sup (vampires). I didn't realize there was a short story Dapper that preceded this book & introduced the main characters.

This book started out slow, not sure if it's because I didn't read the prior novella. The main butch character Byron & the other main femme character Amelia seemed to always be on separate pages.

Obviously, Byron goes through great lengths to conceal her supernatural nature. Although Amelia, is more than a little dense even when clues are right there. The characters are a bit whiny.

The main villain Victoria is not really the big bad she's portrayed to be. Also, sometimes a character is used with male pronouns & then next chapter is female.

The middle of the book picks up speed some, but then the remaining third falls apart rather quickly. The ending is lackluster & rather abrupt. I had to force myself to wrap this up. I'm not sure if I'd read another offering from this author.

Unfortunately, I was let down hard on my favorite genre.

An honest review thanks to NetGalley. Wow. I liked this book; I love supernatural, and Frame did a great job introducing her vampires, their backstories, and their world. I loved Byron and the story that takes place between her and Amelia. There did seem to be some unfinished parts of the plot at the end; I am hoping Frame writes a second novel. The secondary characters were also very compelling; I will be excited to see if this new world is expanded to reading the story about other characters.

I hope we get a continuation would love to know more about Amelia's background since Byron mention the would find out what happen to her family. I guess my only let down was when Victorija I though she was going to fight to the end. You could feel her sadness and how jealous she was but like Byron mention to their grandmother we all have a choice in what we do with our lives.

Let me start with telling that I really enjoyed reading this book. I’m really warming up to fantasy books, so I’ll probably be reading more of those in the future.
After buying and starting in this book I found our about Dapper. So I bought the short and quickly read it before continuing in this book.
If you like steamy books, this one will tickle you in all the right places.

In this book you fall into the middle of 6 months off courtship. I would have liked to read about the build up in the book.
Byron takes Amelia to Monaco to find out if she wants and can tell her the Debrek secret. In this time Amelia’s seeing all kinds of weird things, but doesn’t confront Byron about it and also Byron just stretches the issue further by not talking and making business excuses.

When an angry and cut off member of the family joins the game, Byron fears for Amelia’s safety ands sends her back home without proper explanation. That obviously breaks Amelia’s heart and she suffers true the months ahead.
What they don’t know is that they eccentricity established a blood bound in their last passionate night together. So while Amelia is suffering a heartache and sometimes real fiscal pain, Byron is fighting bloodlust and blood sickness.

When Byron visits her great grandmother, a very wise and powerful witch, she’s told about the bound. But she refuses to just take Amelia’s blood to get better. Even when she searches Amelia out again because she is in danger.

By a series off events Amelia’s eyes are opened and she connects the dots, while staying under the Debreks protection in London. She sees the trouble Byron’s having and after getting the right information from a family friend and overhearing a conversation she finally understands the pains she’s been feeling and knows what urge she wants to give in to.
I loved the tension this brought into the book.

Off course the book doesn’t end there, but let me not spoil everything. If you just want to read one single book. Don’t pick this one up. Are you, like me, a sucker for sequels, then please buy this book. I can definitely see where the next book is going and who will be starring. Can’t wait!

So many people have recommended Jenny Frame’s books to me, and I have to say as this was my first, I am completely blown away with how fantastic Hunger For You was!

The main characters Byron and Amelia are such a perfect couple. I could just feel the passion between them practically sizzling off the page, even as they are introduced, and then when they have more intimate moments it was something else. The chemistry between Byron and Amelia is just amazing, and is the lifeblood of this story being so inviting to any reader.

Focusing on the supernatural, this story follows an elite Vampire family and their battle to remain living in harmony with the human race, but when cousin Victorija threatens such peace, and Byron’s lover, things take an intense turn.

Amelia is a highly admirable character. Knowing all she knows of Bryon, she still loves her and even though this romance isn’t all plain sailing, it was thoroughly amazing.

I was literally gripped by every second of this book. Lost in the fantasy and magic of Byron and Amelia’s highly erotic, intimate, and exclusive relationship. I was completely taken with them, the passion, their loyalty, and intense need for one another had me falling in love with all they were every second of the story.

Words really can’t justify how I felt after reading this book, but I feel as if I have had a very intimate glimpse into a sexy, erotic, glamorous world that mere mortal humans can only dream of, and now I crave the same. A love as intense as Amelia and Bryon’s is absolutely timeless.

I really hope Jenny will give us more from these wonderful, unique characters (even Victorija!) and can’t wait to see how Amelia and Byron’s relationship will develop further. I can’t recommend this book enough, as I felt such a hunger to enjoy every moment of it, and know that if you pick it up to, it will leave you hungry for more as well!

I received this book from NetGalley for an honest review.

All in all this book was not what I expected it to be. And that might have ruined the experience for me. The blurb creates a nice little window into this book and my brain kind of took over from there.

This book relies heavily on romance/sex as a guiding thread throughout the book and I feel the characters are underdeveloped because of it. The story takes ages with setting the pace for the reader and it just became a chore instead of a pleasant experience to read this book.

The character of Amelia appears to be more than she currently portrays herself to be and I am curious how she will continue on in book 2. She was the most intriguing to me and she's not even the vampire in all of this.

The writing style feels very vampire fanfiction, if that makes sense?
It is easy to follow and it becomes very clear where a scene is leading towards

Overall, this is not a bad book. I think that if my expectations had not been so high it would have been more enjoyable.

This was an exceptional book. This completely took me off guard. Now I love paranormal books but this one was one of the best, if not the best I have read in a very long time.

It had a bit of everything. Yes, the obvious but also intrigue, mystery, history and a lot of important secondary characters that just enhanced the story. It is really well written and had me guessing til the end. I really really hope Frame has a follow up on the cards because there is no way she could end it where she did. It set me up to think of another incredible story. Can the good guys really win the day. Can the bad guy be converted?

It's set in London in my home town in the present day. And it's just the way I remember it.

If you want something different that will hold your attention then give this book ago. I highly recommend it and it is worth more than 5 stars. Enjoy!

This was a bit of a mess - but i read it all. This is the continuation of the short story "Dapper" and is Frame's take on vampires. I'll give her credit for mixing stuff up a bit and not following all the standard vampire tropes (there are still some) but I still found the story lacking in direction and action.
