An FG Novel About the Early Years of the Civil War and the Conclusion
FG has penned a novel about the year before the Civil War started up and including the end of the war. One young man out off joining as long as he could and then joined the Union Army. He served with distinction and while doing so met the love of his life. The young man fought thru the war and lived to talk about the people he knew. This is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS
A great read and very well written. The story had some unexpected turns. Even though it is a work of fiction, I really enjoyed learning about the civil war through the eyes of the characters.
