Undercover Memories was a story that dealt with amnesia, although that element of the storyline didn't last long. I enjoyed seeing the MC regain bits of her memory and there were a few surprises that I didn't see coming. The mystery was okay. I didn't really care about it, but it was a quick story.

The characters were fine. I liked how Emma was so set on completing her mission (which I won't say what it was, as that would spoil the story).

All in all, I liked Undercover Memories, but it is not a favorite Love Inspired Suspense.

Fast paced and thrilling to read. I couldn't put this book down. The plot and story line kept me on the questions of who and why, like a good mystery should. You as the reader will begin to piece it all together with the characters, yet the author can throw some great wows into the solving of this crime. The romance was budding like a sweet romance should be, it was slow yet passionate. I really enjoyed that both characters had a good dose of faith and were strong in that aspect.

Waking up in the hospital means Emma Langston has had a bad day on the job. Waking up with no memory of how she got there, but a burning need to get back to whatever she had been doing, is even worse.

Detective Ryder Palladin and his partner have been part of staking out the Triple B bar because of suspected drug activity, When his partner, Pierce, discovers a badly beaten woman outside the bar's back door., they go on full alert. Finding her wallet, they know her name, and that she is a PI.Will she be able to fill them in on what, or who she was investigating when it all went south for her?

As Emma's foggy brain begins to clear, tiny details begin to emerge, but not the full scope of why she was at the seedy bar. When the attempts on her life start, she is clueless as to why. Can Ryder keep her safe when someone out there is just as determined to take her out?

With a new threat at the turn of seemingly every page, Lenora Worth has penned a romantic suspense worthy of the genre. Every time I thought Emma was safe, she either put herself back in danger, or the danger came hunting her. The twist when she finally gets her memories back, is well worth reading the book to find it.

Lenora Worth is one of my go-to authors. If she writes it, I will read it - she's that good. I definitely recommend this to readers of romantic suspense. As part of the Love Inspired series of books, there is a strong faith thread for those who appreciate that, however, those who are in it for the suspense and/or the romance, won't be disappointed, either.

Eh... this book was just okay. Nothing to write home about, nothing really to remember either.

My biggest issue was that it just dragged on and on and on and on. The "romance" took 75% of the book to actually occur. There was a TON of wasted time that I think could have been moved along faster.

3.5 stars. Emma is a P.I. in TX. She is Not a passive main character :). She is a wild card,
fairly reckless.
The plot was middling .. nice ending.

Emma, the heroine in Undercover Memories may have temporarily forgotten her past, but no reader will forget to pick this book up and continue reading. Lenora Worth has crafted a gripping tale about a woman grappling with the heartache of memory loss and then the heartache of remembering what she has had to endure in her past. Throw in a handsome Vice cop to help Emma deal with her current struggles and even add to them, and you've got an entertaining read covered.

This was an excellent LIS read. I read a LOT of these and this is by far one of the best I have read. A great mystery with a twist that I found extremely compelling and that kept me eagerly turning pages to see how it would play out. I hope we get to see stories about a couple of the other characters!!!

UNDERCOVER MEMORIES by Lenora Worth is the wonderful inspirational story of Emma Langston as she recovers from amnesia, relies on a detective to help her regain her memory and to keep her safe, and finishes the most important P.I. job of her life.

Detective Ryder Palladin is on a stake out when he’s partner comes upon two men beating on a woman. The men ran leaving the woman for dead. When evidence begins to pile up showing that this woman and his stake out case are connected, Ryder’s more determined than ever to find answers.

Emma Langston wakes up to find herself in a hospital room in pain and not able to remember who she is, where she’s from, or why she’s hurting so. According to the doctor, she’s suffering from amnesia. Can this detective help her figure out answers to her questions? Use to doing things her way, can she afford trusting this detective? After a man posing as a janitor tries to finish the left for dead thing, does she have a choice? At least he’s been able to tell her what her name is and that she’s a P. I. from Galveston. But what’s she doing in Dallas?

Ryder takes Emma from the hospital to his ranch for her own protection. However, it’s not long before danger finds its way back to Emma meaning the ranch is no longer safe. Plus he can’t put his family in danger as well. Even the safe house they move to doesn’t prove to be very safe.

Does the picture of the couple in Emma’s wallet give them a clue as to what led her to the alley behind the Blue Bull Bar? As bits and pieces of Emma’s memory comes back, can they connect the dots and learn the connection between Ryder’s investigation at the Blue Bull Bar and Emma’s investigation that led her there?

For two people who have concentrated their life to tending to business and skipping a personal life because of events in the pasts, can they fight the attraction that seems to be growing between them? Can Emma’s memory recover in time to finish the job she had set out to do before it’s too late? Why does it seem like it’s so personal and important that she does? When she finally knows the answer to that question will desperation cloud her judgment or fire her on?

UNDERCOVER MEMORIES is the fabulously well-written story of dedication to work while fighting for justice and what’s right, helping others when they are down, sacrifices in the name of love, and the strength of family and the bond of family love. Lenora Worth wrapped the suspense and the growing romance all in a blanket of faith proving that even when faith is all you have – it’s all you need. Loved the quote “Pray the ugly away”. Well worth the read and gets FIVE STARS from me!

There's something nefarious and very probably illegal going on at the Blue Bull Bar in Dallas. Vice Detective Ryder Palladin and his partner Pierce Daugherty are sure of it. They have been watching the place waiting for a break. What they end up with is a badly hurt woman in the alley behind the bar. When Ryder checks the woman's wallet he discovers the injured woman is Emma Langston, a P.I. from Galveston. What is this woman doing here, especially in the alley behind this suspect bar? Ryder won't get the answer to that question right away. When he goes to interview the woman in the hospital she can't tell him because she can't remember. She has amnesia due to the concussion she has courtesy of a strike to her head with a baseball bat. Emma "knows" that there was a very important reason for going into that bar. When will her memory return so she can go forward with her investiagtion?

Author Lenora Worth has brought together some very intriguing characters in her latest book, Undercover Memories. Both Emma and Ryder have pasts that affected them greatly. These pasts are a good part of the reason they chose their current professions. Their past issues make a relationship between the two rather difficult. The author does a really good job of describing the difficult path Emma and Ryder pursue on the way to their Happily Ever After. The action and intrigue in this book keeps the suspense going and will keep the reader guessing until the very end. Anyone who likes action, suspense, intrigue, romance and an emtional read will enjoy this book.

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Undercover Memories. I always enjoy Lenora's work and this one is really awesome. The story is well written, fast paced, and full of faith. I really enjoyed the characters. I know you are going to love this one.

Detective Ryder Palladin and his partner are undercover. They are staking out the Blue Bull Bar (Triple B to the locals) to catch their guy. When Ryder's partner finds a woman who has been hit over the head with a baseball bat. At first they think she is dead but find a pulse. Later at the hospital they find she has no memory of what had happened or why she is in town. Can Ryder keep her safe when they have no idea who is after her or why?

Private Detective Emma Langston came to Dallas on a case. She was asking questions at a bar when she is asked to leave. She is attacked with a baseball bat in the alley and left for dead. She wakes in the hospital with a serious concussion and no memory. A good looking cop is willing to help her. Can she trust him to keep her alive?

A struggle to survive for two broken soul; they must learn to trust each other, and follow God's sign and clues. God has a plan for these two, a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, a plan for good and not for evil. Give Him you heart and watch Him work in your life.

"Undercover Memories" is a Christian romantic suspense novel. The undercover detective rescues and protects Emma, a private investigator, from repeated attacks. She initially can't remember why she was asking questions at the bar where she was beaten, but she feels an urgency to go back there again. She recovers her memory pretty quickly, only to realize that she's trying to find a kidnapped teenager and time may be running out. She has little to go on and feels desperate, which makes her reckless.

The detective just wants her to cooperate with him as he helps her, but they're constantly frustrated with each other. They're also physically attracted, despite personality conflicts and past relationship hangups. The race to find clues and save the teenager kept my interest, but the romance just didn't work for me. They can barely work together as a team. After knowing each other for only a few days, the story ended with a scene that basically goes: you want to try dating despite everything? Yup. What about let's get married? Yes!

There was no sex or bad language. The Christian element was Emma's trust that God had a purpose to everything.

I received an ebook review copy of this book from the publisher through Netgalley.

Emma is a PI on an investigation but it looks like she was knocked out getting too close to something and now shes suffering from amnesia. Detective Ryders partner found her and now he wants to help her out trying to figure out what she was getting too close to and even help her with her case after a couple of attempts were made on her life.

This had just what I loved in a good mystery suspense novel with a bit of romance in it. There was so much going on and twists and turns. It was so easy to get sucked up into a book like this. I loved getting to know what was going on when Emma slowly but surely try to work on getting her memory back. I loved the suspense of waiting for when the person who strike next and what was really going on why were they so adamant to taking her out. I also loved that thought there was a little bit of romance there wasn't enough to overpower or take over the book. There was just enough to show the two were interested and didn't get down and dirty which I appreciate. Overall a pretty great book I really enjoyed it.

This was a pretty good book. Emma is a PI working on a case in Dallas. Ryder and his partner find her after some goons try to kill her. Problem is, with the blow to the head, Emma can't remember the case she is working on, just that it is important. Ryder is determined to help the headstrong PI that may have caught his attention.

I can honestly say, I wasn't expecting the investigation to be what it was, but it was well written. My heart broke for Emma though I could have strangled her a few times with her rash choices. Overall it was a good, quick read. There is action, a bit of romance and some mystery.

It was a 3/5 for me.

Thank you to the publisher for the review copy of this book. I received this book in exchange for an honest review and the opinions stated above are 100% mine.

This was a suspenseful story that built on memories lost and found. Emma is searching for a missing child when she loses her memory for a time, lucky for her Ryder is there. Ryder works as a cop and has a no woman in his heart policy. Funny, Emma has a no man policy. So these two are made for each other.

It wasn’t a jump right into action style of book but a building into action story. We have action in the beginning but it gets larger and more active towards the end. I thought it was a good touch that both were Christians and trusted God though were still human wanting to solve it all on their own. God gave gentle nudges in the right direction and at the end of the book a reader will find a sense of peace.

Emma Langston is a PI who is attacked while working on a case, and that leads to amnesia. With the help of Detective Ryder Palladin, she tries to regain her memories so she can discover who she was looking for prior to her injury. Will she succeed?

The mystery is solid, and there are a few unexpected twists along the way. The romance develops at a realistic pace for the length of the story. Worth creates a plausible path for Emma and Ryder to follow along the way toward a HEA, and the incorporation of the Christian message is done is a way that doesn’t overwhelm the story.

I really enjoyed this book. I'm a real fan of Lenora. She writes awesome stories and they get better each time. In this one we meet Emma and Ryder. Its a story about a memory lost. I like the way she builds this story for its about a problems alot of people deal with. Ryder is a cop in Vice. She brings to life the problems cops deal with daily to solve a crime. She brings the story together very well. I like the way the mysteries keep croping up when you least of all expect it. I also like tge way they fall in love. They have their doubts and it kinda creeps up on them. Its a great book and I look forward to her next book.

Emma Langston, a private investigator, find a herself dealing with amnesia after she is attacked in Dallas, Texas.

Ryder Palladin is the detective assigned to the case. They both have pasts to deal with and their personalities tend to get in the way of their mission which is to find a missing teenage girl.

There are many action packed scenes in the book and there are a few twists and turns about who can be trusted.

The chemistry develops between Ryder and Emma and they also learn to trust each other. The romance did seem a little rushed at the end. I think an epilogue to the story and relationship would have been great.

This was an enjoyable book if you love suspense and mystery.

I always enjoy reading Love Inspired books and suspense books...
and Lenora Worth is one of my favorite authors.
This was a story with so many twists and turns...Emma Langston wakes up in the hospital not knowing who she is, why she's there... but somehow senses that she is in some sort of danger. Is her work what put her in danger, or is there another reason... and how can she know who to trust? Detective Ryder Palladin is working on a case that sounds strangely connected to Emma's slow memory spurts. Can they work together and keep each other safe ???

I liked the idea behind this story. It dealt with a few harder topics, amnesia being one of them. I don't want to say much and give the story line away but I did enjoy it. At times it seemed to drag on with things that didn't matter as much, but all at once it was character building. I would recommend this to anyone who likes a good suspenseful mystery. We didn't know who until right at the end.

I really did love this book. It was intense, scary, heart wrenching, worrisome, hopeful, and can make you feeling unsure, for some of the things the characters went through. It ended well to my notion, but I will give nothing away. Come and experience it for yourself if you like. Good writing, made me wonder what was going to happen next. I am looking forward to reading more books by this author.

This book was conservative religious tension. They didn't kiss until 163 pages in, fell in love in 6 days, haven't been on one date, and agree to get married. The last page was so bad that I read it to my girl and she visibly cringed. It's great for the type of people who voted for Donald Trump. If you're into that without the satisfaction of the "climax" then have at it. For me...big ooof.
