Dalle emigrazioni degli uccelli e i colombi viaggiatori allo strapazzo del cervello, Mosso divulga scienza e fa parallelismi tra la stanchezza fisica e quella mentale. Oltre alla descrizione dei suoi tracciati, alle citazioni di fisiologi famosi e a molti riferimenti dotti, racconta cosa andavano a misurarsi (con l’ergografo) i prof dopo aver interrogato gli studenti di medicina a fine 800.
