An affirmation on its own is a powerful thing. However, flexing the muscle of an affirmation with the conscious expression of your own words, thoughts and experiences is a transformative thing. Use this affirmational journal to not only absorb the powerful messages in each affirmation, but to accentuate them tenfold by the expressions of your own creation.

Everyone has the power to change the world in their own way. I found that power in my writing. And if I can help someone else discover how their own unique talents, abilities and desires can change the world, I've accomplished my goal. Changing the world need not be some lofty goal. Changing the world can be as simple as saving yourself, loving yourself, discovering what gifts you have to share. My work reflects a sincere desire to lift and inspire while acknowledging the beauty inherent in all of us.

By far the most important day in a woman’s life besides giving birth to her first child is the day she walks down the aisle to say her “I do” to the person she’s committing to spend the rest of her life with in marriage.
Sometimes, although a bride-to-be heart’s is totally committed in going through with marriage so she can dwell in her HEA forever, her mind might in some incidents still be fraught of hesitations for one reason or another. It is at these times she needs to have some guidance with having the feelings of her mind match those of her heart. And perhaps a great way of creating this synchronous set of emotions between heart and mind is through the use of affirmations.
The bride’s reading of the 24 affirmations contained in this book by Elizabeth D. Gray, followed by quietly meditating about their meanings in her mind and then writing down her own thoughts of what she’s read for each one; will hoping turn the tide of her mind’s feeling towards marriage.
Perhaps the reasoning for this can be best explained by the author’s description of what an affirmation is:
“An affirmation on its own is a powerful thing. However, flexing the muscle of an affirmation with the conscious expression of your own words, thoughts and experiences is a transformative thing.”
Having walked down the aisle myself 24 years ago, I can see how reading and then understanding the formidable meanings each of the declarations contained in this book has, followed by heightening these feelings several times by writing one’s own terms can create the desired effect to anxiously walk down the aisle without any qualms; and it is because of this I’ve given Ms. Gray the 5 STARS I’ve given her and this book.
I was lucky enough to get this for free today due to a special offer on Amazon from the author. As a book of poetry, it was somewhat beautiful. The text is well written and uplifting, offering good thoughts to the reader. Being that I'm not a bride, it isn't fully relevant to my life, I admit. Though, the poetry isn't just about getting married. It's also about treasuring your partner and thinking the best of your situation.
I imagine that this would be a beautiful hard copy to give a bride on their wedding day which she might treasure forever. There is plenty of space within it for notes which the bride might write her feelings on and maybe have others give their well wishes. I think it would be a truly lovely gift to give or receive on a wedding day. I know that I, personally, would be truly honoured for that.
