Rate this book
The art of needlepointing has been with us for centuries, and is currently undgergoing a modern revial. Famous actors, actresses, authors, and other notables, as well as a growing number of young people, have all been tasting the pleasures of taking a needle to canvas and creating their own works of art.

There have, however, been a few complaints. Interesting, young, vibrant dewsigns are hard to come by. Even if the needlepointer is lucky enough to find an exciting design, the price of the painted canvas is usually far beyond the reach of the average person's budget.

Joan Scobey and Lee Parr McGrath, both needlepoint craftsmen as well as authors, have come up with a solution to this problem. With Marjorie Sablow, talented artist and fellow needlepointer, they have developed a completely new idea in needlepoint books: Do-it-all-Yourself Needlepoint!

Do-it-all-Yourself Needlepoint

By using this book, any needlepoint fan, whether novice or pro, can create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece each and every time. No longer are needlepointers limited to sterotyped, ready-made designs, anything from a china pattern to your favorite painting can now be used for needlepoint.

Do-it-all-Yourself Needlepoint is basic, practical, and comprehensive. Here are instr4uctions for everything you need to know to complete a canvas, from start to finish.
