The Intelligence Particle

Rate this book
What causes intelligence? Is its basis tangible or a mere consequence of evolution? That is the question that Denton Brackwood and his company are being asked to help safeguard. A new client, an academic professor, has sought the help of Brackwood and his consulting firm to find a missing person along with some highly secret computer files. The missing person is part of a small, extremely secretive team with a strange quest: To find an elementary particle that might be responsible for empowering all matter in the universe with intelligent behavior.

Dent, a former Army Ranger, and his consulting firm accept the challenge. But within the next twenty-four hours the secretive team and Dent's company comes under attack. Thus begins a worldwide search by Dent and his team to determine who and why someone would do this. They have a very short time to find and stop those responsible before the unthinkable happens: A power unlike anything the world has ever seen is unleashed that would either benefit humankind immeasurably or bring all of civilization to its knees.
