This is my brother's book, published in 2006! When the box of newly published books arrived, he let me cut open the box. A great memory! What fun he had writing it, and sharing it with his friends, family and beyond!!

A great reference about the meanings of flowers, herbs, trees, and more. He did a great job of it! I am really proud of him (oh and a little jealous - hahahah - okay, a LOT jealous - - hahahah). Seriously, I am super proud of his accomplishment!

It's a reference guide and I think it has value for authors that want to step up their style.

Cover
The cover is minimal and yet it's pretty pretty good. It's simple and yet effective in what it wasn't to portray.

Interior
I found this book really interesting. It was really nice touch adding National, State, Provincial, and Western Astrological flowers.
I have to give the book credit all the flowers are in alphabetical order but it also goes in alphabetical order by meaning as well if that's what you need.
I loved that while going through the facts one by one it can feel monotonous. (Like reading through a dictionary.) It is broken up by factual snippets, classic flower poetry, and philosophy.

It not often you gat biblical theology, Shakespeare/classical poetry and historical superstitions combined into one book While it is focused on flowers it goes into more than that covering fruits, vegetables, and also trees.
