She is the daughter of François Billetdoux, and was a companion of the political journalist Paul Guilbert (died July 2002).

She was assistant editor on feature films and television. Then in 1975, she became a journalist. She made a feature film, La Femme enfant (1980).[3] In 2006, she wrote a memoir, Un peu de désir, sinon je meurs, under the name "Marie" Billetdoux.

Hassua, että useimmat ranskalaiset kirjat kuvautuvat silmieni eteen elokuvina, niin tämäkin. En kyllä tiedä, että tätä oikeasti olisi filmatisoitu. Sensuelli ja eroottinen kirja, tällaiseen aistillisuuteen ei suomalaiskirjailija veny - ei ehkä lukijakaan?! Ihan ok luettava, mutta enempää sivuja en kuitenkaan olisi kaivannut.

read it first in the 70's, never forgotten. Original French title much more poetic 'Prends garde à la douceur des choses'
