This was very different than any other vampire story I've read. The Blood dolls were a concept I was familiar with but some of the other story elements were surprising - especially the f/f and m/f/f scenes. May have triggers for some readers. Interesting and steamy take on PNR and vamps.

I wanted to like this book. I wanted to appreciate what it brought to the table in the erotica and vampire verse. But I was to distracted by the fact that a woman who had suffered sexual abuse for years would be so.... well, open to being a sex slave when all she wanted to was to get out from under the finger of being nothing but a sex object. I get vampires are sexual creatures, that's not my issue. My issue is the back story you gave to your lead female, and that she would just suddenly be okay with being on her knees when two chapters before she was disgusted by that prospect. It just didn't make sense. It went from one extreme to the other. Maybe if the lead had a different back story I would've enjoyed or even believed this a bit more. Unfortunately that wasn't the case.

Emotional and fascinating!
This book is steamy and amazing and will push your boundaries and leave you breathless!

I loved everything about it - the characters, the plot, the emotion, the writing, and the ability that the author had to tell me a story - all of it had me wanting this book to go on and on.

The chemistry between the H and h is great plus their attitudes and events going on make the story even richer.

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Celia has had a hard life, her stepfather use to sexually abused her. Celia is kidnapped by a vampire and given to their Lord Samuel, the chemistry between them was hot and steamy with the intense lust.

Vampire Lord, Samuel didn't ask for more blood doll he had enough but still his friend brought him another girl. He was still in mourning for the mate he lost but this girl was changing everything, But he knew he couldnt give in. Or could he???

She's being hunted after been traded to the vampires. He believed he had not just lost his mate but his heart with her death.

The two find out that there are darker and meaner things in the shadows, that rather than pushing each other away they need to come together. When Samuel and Celia finally get passed their pasts and work together, just how much they are truly meant to be together and start fighting alongside each other instead of against each other. Passions are set on fire and they fight through hell to be together and keep each other safe.

Sophie has once again knocked it out of the park and I can't wait to see if there are anymore books that runs this into a series.

For years Celia had been sexually abused by her stepfather she’s had enough so she finally confronts him, finally free or so she thought Celia is taken by a vampire and given to Samuel the lord of the vampires as a blood doll so Celia has gone from one hell to another. Samuel had lost his mate and his heart right along with her when she died, now he has been given Celia as a blood doll she intrigues him but they both fight their attraction until eventually they give in to their attraction for each other. Fantastic story and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

What happens when Two people with troubled pasts meets and instant chemistry is flying, where both help each other work past their scars to finally come together? This is Celia and Samuel story.

No damsel in distress, super villain to vanquish or over the top drama, just a good, light and fast vampire romance story that's focuses more on the expectations of being a blood doll for vampires and the building romance between two damaged souls. I will definitely add more of Ms. Stern books in my collection.

This is a vampire story our vampire Samuel has lost his mate and does not think he can love again. Celia has been taken and thrown to the vampires. They both have past, but once they start working together instead of against things take on a different direction. This is a grea vampire story and the characters were fantastic and the story was written really well. I am not a big vampire lover but Sophie is changing my mind. Great book.

This was such a great story. Celia had been raped by her step-father for a long time. Gordon decided that Celia would be a wonderful addition for his Master Samuel and took Celia for the Vampire King. This was so sexy and steamy. I could not put it down. Celia had been a broken woman for most of her life thanks to her step father. She finally has enough and walks, only to find herself taken to be a play thing for a broken vampire Lord. Things heat up quickly and both Celia and Samuel realize that they needed each other to heal. Great characters in this book. I could not put it down.

Celia came from an abusive home. She was being blackmailed by her abuser stepdad. Gordon was a vampire. He found the blood dolls for his vampire king which was his best friend. Gordon found Celia for him. Samuel didn’t want anything to do with the dolls except feed until Celia because his first love died when he tried to turn her. Now he was in love with Celia and she loved him. Could they make it work?

Vampire in love.
It was so good story. Hot, sexy, deprived and so sweet.
Doesn’t make to much sense? I know, but this is it.
The storyline was entertaining,engaging and entertaining.
Would mind read Gordon and Jade story.

Over all I liked the story line. It was a quick read that could be read in a sitting. I had a moral dilemma on loving the story though. Having Celia stand up say enough is enough to being captured and put into a situation she had again no Choice on broke my heart. I am hoping to see more from Sophie and have loved books of hers in the past so maybe this is just a me thing.

Samuel was a depressed brooding vampire having lost who he thought would be his only love years before, but Celia was brought to him as a feeder, and much to his suprise she worked her way into his heart.
This was a wonderful read filled with plenty of emotion, some power exchange and plenty of steam.

This is a well written story that is very steamy. However at times I did not know how to feel about the story. If you hold your disbelief, it would easier to enjoy the story completely. Overall, this is an interesting story.
