Now that I've read three of the six books (episodes)...I think I'm getting what is going on, but it is not always easy...while reading it.
There are a LOT of characters, and some that you do not see often. There are the core people, but there is a lot of information that has not been given out...so even though you've read THIS story, you are still in the dark...overall.
I some ways, it is good, but in other ways, I'm having trouble following the story. I read the first book at the beginning of the month, the second not far after and the third before the middle of the month (and in that same time period, I've read twelve other books). In all the other stories I've read...I am doing a number of series...I'm fine, but unfortunately...this story is too disjointed to do this.
I might just stop and read the last three in a binge, but I want to know who is the ultimate "bad guy" and what is actually going to happen to our favourite characters. Ugh.
What I might do, is put this off till next month (or the following) and reread the six novellas in a row (binge style), to soak in all the storylines. I'm just a little frustrated at the moment.
It is good, but not good enough to allow me to truly follow along with other books in between.
The 3rd Book in the Series was another book which kept me wanting to read more. Looking forward to reading Book 4 and the return of a certain Ms Mcgann.
