Bound for Service #2

Trained by the Trillionaire

Rate this book
When nineteen-year-old Cynthia Hall falls asleep in the middle of an act of self-pleasure, she is shocked to be awoken by a stern, handsome man standing over her bed, scolding her for her wanton behavior. Within moments, Cynthia has been stripped bare, intimately inspected, and soundly spanked. After her punishment, she is taught how to properly show her submission to a dominant man and then taken to the Institute to be trained for her new life as a concubine.

Upon reaching the Institute, the beautiful, feisty hipster quickly discovers that no part of her virgin body will be off-limits to the powerful trillionaire who now owns her, and she is left blushing crimson as her most shameful, deeply-hidden desires are exposed and exploited.

The Institute's plans for Cynthia include more than merely selling her for a profit, however, and once she reaches the estate of her new master, she will serve as a source of information for an even more secretive organization. But will her role as an unwitting spy put her life in danger?

Publisher's Trained by the Trillionaire is a stand-alone book which is the second entry in the Bound for Service series, which shares the same near-future setting as The Institute Series . It includes spankings and sexual scenes. If such material offends you, please don't buy this book.

Emily Tilton

Emily Tilton, whose books have hit number one on Amazon in six different erotica categories, wishes she could live out her fantasies of submission the way her characters do.

Emily's erotica is a narrative version of her nearly lifelong quest to reconcile her submissive erotic orientation with her ethics. She writes erotic romance, but her books are always frankly and unashamedly about sex, because writing about sex helps her understand that fundamental part of her life better. She hopes maybe it does the same for her readers.

Over the many years since Emily became aware of her sometimes unbearable craving for spanking, ravishment, and all the shameful things that go with it, she has tried to come to terms with that craving in more ways than she can count. The first of the ways was by reading, voraciously, every piece of BDSM erotica she could find.

Eventually, she read "Story of O." As is reflected throughout her work, it changed her life, though the change has been gradual, and continues to this day. The idea that other women might share the lusts she has by turns been ashamed of and defiantly proud of, that a woman like the real Pauline Réage might write so beautifully of those lusts, and work them out so thoroughly and even pitilessly on a character, put Réage's famous pencil in her right hand. Or, to put it in the terms of EXPLORATIONS, which she considers her magnum opus, it put her left hand on the keyboard of her laptop and her right hand in her lap, if you know what she means. Emily started to write spanking stories.

Extreme sexual content

This book follows the theme of saving civilization through the world of the division tasked with using women trained within The Institute for sexual pleasure. Strong characters and plot. This series is very strong in technical systems and spy ware. I found the strong structure of the underlying story very consuming and interesting.

I may be one of the few who found this book so hard to read. I gave up quite a few times and only because i hate quitting when i get an ARC did i not just give a DNF. I found that the talk of code names, and message texts, and other people in the side note involved in getting Cynthia to where she could be used for the institute( not that i saw how that even happened or maybe i didn't understand it) just bored the heck out of me and I really couldn't care less. Instead i struggled and in the end just clung on long enough so i could produce a review.

Maybe others would find the detailed convolution of what the Institute do and how all the other people with their more than one names interesting. The title was also misleading, the training was mostly carried out by the Institute and then a few scenes with the purchaser before we get a conclusion. I tried I really did, but this was not for me.

Craziness with a ton of submission and dominance. Trained sex spies! What a concept. Lots of explicit sex in multiple situations and partners. Interesting take again on a secret society based on D/s relationships can take over the world.

This tale explore more themes of kidnapping, being sold, prepared for, brutally raped, and then gang-raped. All while making this acceptable with a heroine with an extremely passive submissive personality who appears to thrive on humiliation and punishment and who lives in a dream world. Yes, these themes often exist in this type of dark erotica literature, and I appreciate the exploration of it. However, it didn't necessarily sit with me as completely erotic and beautiful, but more awful. And yet, I appreciated it, perhaps because the author was weaving in other points about society and personalities and characters. For instance, the man who buys Cynthia is not a romantic figure, not beautiful, admirable, or sexy. He is just cold and dominant here in a cold empty castle, large and amazing though it is. However, the heroine clings to fantasy and a fantasy-world as it is slowly ripped to shreds. Some of the imagery was beautiful, however. The white ribbon she must wear, the little pink dress, the civilizer, the scene where she loses her virginity, and the beautiful dresses she must wear in her final two scenes. Also, the penultimate dramatic scene fantastically came together with her delicious spanking and humiliation.

I had more mixed feelings when I finished reading this book compared to her previous book in the series. But I think that's a reflection of my tastes for heroines and themes. I more closely aligned with Sarah from the first book, who had more agency and thought.

Also, the writing of this book may have attempted to combine too many things at once. The technology to describe Cynthia's arousal was interesting. The plot was a bit complicated. The psychology that Greg attempted to describe of his training plan was difficult to follow.

Also, interestingly, I think that the author was heavily exploring themes from A.N. Rampling's Beauty series and the Story of O. I would want to revisit and compare the next time. I wonder if someone with more training than I has written a comparison?

The mention of laws did make me wonder how such a transaction could legally be possible. I wouldn't have placed this story under such real conditions, but the author brought it up, I'm not sure what to make of that.

Overall, I would given it a four stars because it wasn't quite to my personal taste, but it was an amazing exploration that I was drawn to finish and could spend a few days unpacking. But attempting to mix too many viewpoints and plot points and psychology did make it a more difficult book to follow. And the heroine appeared extremely passive, even though it was highlighted she was very intelligent. I didn't quite feel into that.

Once again Emily Tilton has woven a very steamy tale concerning the Institute. However, this time not only are they training Cynthia to be a submissive but also as an agent for a secret agency. But Cynthia has no idea that she is anything other than a submissive in training for her new owner. Those familiar with the Institute series may recognize some of the secondary characters but the story can be read as a stand alone novel.

Although I’ve read a few books by Emily Tipton and enjoyed them, this was not one of them. It was a struggle to get into, the main character Cynthia was a confused, almost childish, mess. There was too much peripheral stuff going on with spies and secret societies. It didn’t feel at all like the other Institute books, but maybe I missed things heading in a different direction. A tough book to finish

Not what I expected. I normally do not read stories of this type. The blurb did not mention that is was kind of a sci-fi story. It is very difficult to read without getting confused by all the codenames and titles. I like strong women and weak women but not this kind of heroin that is such messy and confused. Apart from that it is a nice read and has a length of 132 pages. Normally I like Emily Tiltons stories but this confused me.

Trained by the Trillionaire is another very erotic read by Emily Tilton which focuses on power play and discipline. Cynthia is a virgin who is whisked away to be trained to be perfect submissive for dominant David. There is a lot of training and punishment involved and Cynthia soon realizes that she craves the kinky games. I enjoyed reading the story very much.

Good story. I had trouble following all the intrigue and politics. Trying to keep track of everything that was happening often pulled me from the storyline. The sex was hot as Hades and the ending was good. Overall it is a solid 4 star.

Hipstered in Pubic

Yet another Gem from Em. I luved the dexterous development of this Bound for Service serise. Having Publicly Hipstered bear Cynthia in front of her girlfriend in the middle of bustling Paris what nicer humiliation for our Soumis degoulinant.

Four and a half star heat

The first book was five stars but this does not disappoint!! As out there as the overall plot may be, it is easy to believe and gives extra interest to an almost purely sexual story.

Really Awful

I mean, terrible. It's unbelievable how bad it is. It interrupts what could be at least somewhat interesting scenes with a bunch of babbling. It's incoherent.

Not what I expected. I almost didn't finish it. When I was done I regretted wasting my time.
