My favorite book of the series so far.
This book is the long awaited story of Wraith and Ellie. Wraith survived the attack on Castle Belmont in the first book, The Vampire’s Slave. But he’s not the same. Not only is he shadow cursed from a previous skirmish, his mind now seems to be splintered in two. He’s basically split between “Wraith” still a vampire with dark urges and Jack, the true person of Wraith before he was shadow cursed. Convoluted, I know, but trust me, the author does a much better job of explaining this and building the story around his malady.
There’s a lot of action in this book, and I loved it. There’s intrigue, as we learn more about the background of the 3 sisters; new characters added to the mix and a welcomed appearance by a few of our old friends from previous books. So world building and character development feel pretty full to me. The overarching storyline is very interesting as are the plots in each individual story that have elements feeding into the larger plot as well.
I would have given this book 4 stars if not for the editing issues. They were everywhere in this book. So many instances of an incorrect word being used; soul rather then sole, bare rather than bear, etc and quite a few awkward sentences. So much so that I had to go back and reread more than a few times to get what I believe the author was trying to say. It’s very unfortunate because this is my favorite book in the series so far, but with the editing problems I just couldn’t give it a higher rating. Still looking forward to the next book in the series.

Wraith was worth the wait
Got an email today telling me this was out. So like any Tales fan I had to stop and read it. The whole thing.
I loved it!
I've been waiting to read Wraith's story every since Eric and Claire's story in book one. The wait was worth it. New characters are introduced and a few that you'll know appear here and there. But mostly this is Wraith's story with his mate/love Ellie. He's not what or who you thought he was gonna be is all I will tell you, you'll just have to read it for yourself. One last thing ... Is it summer yet!

I definitely enjoyed this book. Still some spelling errors, but it was well written and captivating. I have been waiting for the release of this book, since the last book came out. They typically take me about a day to read, so they are not extremely long stories but either way they do make you want to read more. So now to wait for the next one to come along. I am hoping that there's more action to this series. Wraith/Jack have definitely been an interesting character throughout the series so far, so to read their story, and see how it all connected was great!

Exciting Read!!!
I am in love with this series. I love how the author follows the story line of each character in a new book. I look forward to reading what happens with the York family and Jessica. I am also eagerly awaiting to Read about the werewolves and how they fit into the prophecy as well as the other characters.I eagerly await the next book. I almost forgot the steamy love scenes are awesome!!!!

The renewing of the breeding & berthing of vampire babies.
I have really enjoyed these 4 stories. All of them were complete. They were well written. Yes they had a lot of mis-spelled words & words swapped out of correct formation. Mostly when the story line got REAL interesting. Looking forward to the next book.

Excellent series
I cannot put it down, the writing is creative and imaginative. When you read the story you feel yourself there and part of the scene. The characters all have great personalities and you feel there saga with each word. Please continue to write them to see what happens next.

Favorite of the Series
This is by far my most favorite of the series. I like this one because it's very descriptive and it gives you more insight into the characters into the past into the present and possibly the future. It is very well written. It has amazing scenes in it and kept me reading all day long!

Love this series! A great hot suspenseful paranormal romance. We met Wraith in the first story and what a bad seemingly unredeemable vampire. This is his story and that of the second daughter. Read the other books first!

Steamy with a good storyline
This book is HOTTT! The first book is a bit overboard, but once the storyline picks up in the second book, it's hard to put it down. Also, this book puts a unique spin on the vampire stories you're used to. Great imagination!

Great continuation of the series.
