In Ancient Rome four young slave-gladiators—bred to be the best and nick-named the Wolf Pack—form a forbidden bond with the daughter of their owner. Across the length and breadth of the empire they will find and claim her as their own, letting nothing stand in their way.

Ennia is the name her patrician birth assigned her. Cassius is the name her father’s physician gave her when she dressed as a slave boy to train under him. But Accalia, the she-wolf, is the name she gave herself. And it is Accalia who falls in love with not one but four young men society deemed the lowest of the low.

Follow their adventures in the Gladiator series:

3: TALOS is not interested in the instant success and fame the Wolf Pack garners when they start their careers as gladiators in Rome. For the steady, pragmatic Talos all that matters is doing a good job for his pack and for Accalia.

When Nero’s fire breaks out in the poorer areas of Rome, Accalia races into danger to do what she can for the burn victims. Talos and his pack go after her. When he discovers she has rushed into a burning building after a child, the only thing Talos can do is follow her, though the chances of getting her out are impossibly slim.

Although choices are always limited for a man owned by another, this one choice is totally his own and easy to make. Talos would rather die trying to save his little she-wolf than live another day without her.

Nhys Glover is an Australian born award-winning author of over 75 romance novels. She is known for blending heart, heat, and a touch of the extraordinary in her stories. From time-traveling lovers to soul-deep polyamory connections, her work explores love in all its transformational forms.
Now living in Durham County UK, Nhys draws on her background in teaching and spiritual inquiry for inspiration in her writing. As she sits at her desk, staring out at the windy moors, she often reflects on what it means to stay human in an increasingly digital world. It is, after all, the subject of her newest book, a non-fiction called Authenticity, as Taught by a Machine.
But no matter the genre, Nhys is always chasing one thing: the truth at the heart of every story.

Oh Talos

How I love the, let me count the ways:
1. I love his giant teddy bear self
2. I love when he growls and randomly gets aggressive.
3. I love his optimism/pragmatism
4. I love his penis jokes.
5. I love how gentle and caring he is to our She-wolf.
6. I adore Talos lol and his beautiful visage. Yum!

On the whole, this book just continues an adventure that just keeps giving. I loved it. I love Ennia aka She-wolf aka Accalia. She's brave, smart and ferocious. But she's also practical and endearing. This book was great! Can't wait for book 4!

I highly recommend this series. This series is so well written and is such a rich reading experience.

I really like that each book focuses on her relationship with one of the members of the Wolf Pack so you really get to know them and see the building of their relationship.

Talos is the strong, quiet one. He cares for her as much as the others but doesn't express that as overtly as the others. When he goes to rescue her, you really see his strength of character. There is such an intimacy to their time together.

I am voluntarily reviewing a copy I received.
