Never thought I would read a movie novelization. This book gave me more appreciation for the format, however. After rewatching the film, it’s clear the book adds a lot more in the way of scenes not in the film (possibly in the original script but excised I’m editing?) and more importantly in the added internal dialogue of the main character. Mr. Camry’s prose is enjoyable with a strong voice for the narrator. His writing feels reminiscent of Chuck Palahniuk. Worth reading if you come across a copy. It’s a quick read as well.
