Finally finding the balance she desperately needed, Jesse gains control of her father’s company. But dangers lurk in the shadows, threatening her and her family. The situation is why she needs to be guarded around the clock. It’s not ideal, but at least the situation is bringing her and Aedan closer together.
Even though Aedan threw himself into her life, she wouldn’t want it any other way. His presence is the one thing that makes her feel secure. With the threats constantly hanging over her family and her, she’s afraid she’ll lose everything, but she won’t go down without a fight.
There’s a killer on the loose, always one step ahead of them, threatening the entire McCoy family. In the face of peril, Aedan plans to make Jesse his forever, and the only way anyone will take her away from him…would be over his dead body.
A. Gorman is an author who writes whatever the characters in her head dictate. Becoming an author was never in her plans, yet she finds immense joy in transforming the stories she conceives in her mind into tangible works for others to devour.
To be honest, this is a 5 star read. I was just so pissed off when it ended in a cliffhanger only to learn that it was published 4 years ago as book 2 in a 2 book series and I couldn't find any evidence on Amazon or their world wide web of the plans for the final book in the series.
But I have a major question??? Why could no one tell that Shelly and Telly were the same person??? That's just stupid.
This author is seriously lacking in writing skills and obviously only interested in duping people into buying her books. The errors are enough to make me never waste my time on her work again. I was optimistic at first but quickly realized I was wasting my time on a story that will never end. I am so sorry I fell prey to this farce.
Really enjoyable however I thought I was a 2 book series and get to the end to find its not, that’s really annoying. I checked before I started the first book!
