Volume IV, "Creativity Unlocked" is the latest volume in our Cultivate series. The writings in this volume are meant to challenge your idea of what creativity is and unlock the truth that creativity is a mindset, not a skill set. If every child of God is made in His image, then creativity is not a talent for the select-few, it is a birthright. Our desire is that Cultivate Volume IV would empower you to take risks in expression and discover your creative ability. There are beautiful discoveries to be made when you dare to believe that He desires to speak through your creativity and meet you in the process.
Cultivate is a book designed to help you tend the rich soil of your heart. It is an invitation to discover the beautiful process of growth that happens when we partner with the Father. This book is full of honest prompts, writings and poetry from our community’s process with the Lord. Our dream is that each volume would serve as a tool to help you cultivate your relationship with the Father and empower you to enjoy the process. Your heart is worth the work.
I’ve realized all too often I’m the guy in Jesus’ parable who buried his talent. Volume 4 convicted me in the right direction, showing me I’m created to create and that it’s actually a sin against my make up to stunt or shut down creativity in the name of humility… or in laziness… or in fear of shame… or any reason really.
I also love how they bring out that a person doesn’t have to be good at what they’re attempting. Just stepping out in creativity is often enough to reap multiple benefits.
This whole series is just great if you like testimonies and inspirations for everyday life. Also, from what I’ve seen, the ministry and family behind these books are quite lovely!!
Through entries of different artists, we walk down the path of the creative mind. All too familiar struggles are met with understanding and divine inspiration. The designs are beautiful, the words spoken true and biblical, the emotions convey comfort, and the themes legitimate. I've loved the gentle challenges and the re-alignment with the truth. I love to see creativity brought back to the nest of God. I want to come back to some of these entries and take more time on them. There are a lot of conversations with God to be unveiled.
Do you know those first few days of spring when you walk outside into the sunshine and you can physically feel your soul become filled up and refreshed? That's what this book felt like. It was inspiring and gave me the conviction I needed to stop being so "type-A" about certain things and simply let Holy Spirit guide me.
the cultivate series has continually wrecked me over and over - the artistry and craftsmanship put into each page is evident - and quite astounding. thank you cageless birds ♥️
