I never read a writing ‘prompt book’ previously; therefore, I am not quite sure how to ponder this booklet.
Very easy and down-to-earth approach for a beginner’s writer. It came for free in my Kindle library so, I am grateful.
I will touch on this book again in later examinations, as Bryan Collins, also wrote a list of useful tools and resources at the end of the book, which has proven to be very helpful, not solely for the scope of writing a book but for any form of writing the reader is embarking to achieve.

It’s kind of hard to critique a book of writing prompts.
Trying to write a book for the first time or overcoming a creative problem like writer’s block can feel terrifying in a different way. But you can use a writing prompt to overcome your fears, and unlike bungee jumping, it’ll help you figure out what type of writing you enjoy and what type of writing you dislike. You’ll improve your craft too.

I stumbled onto Bryan Collins podcast and have a couple of his writing books.
He talks about influential books you should read, promotes journaling, and gives you some prompts. He also lists a lot of online resources, programs, hardware and apps.

Most helpful for fiction prompts

Being someone who in not writing fiction or nonfiction, I write poetry, there was a certain sense of - okay its a great idea and yet not for me. The resources in the back of the book were revelatory and mind boggling. These are resources any type of writer could use. AI is not something I want to rewrite or write for me. Others may not feel that way.

Collins allows the reader access to themselves without being preachy. He includes a bit on dictation, great find for writers like me, who struggle with mobility and severe fatigue.

A useful tool for some

The writing is friendly in style and helpful.

I am sure it will prove useful to many writers, especially non-fiction writers.

I’m sure I will refer back to it in the future.
