Rod is everything any young girl could dream of. Smart, handsome, caring, still with qualities as rich as those he still finds himself belittled and unappreciated by the love of his life, Candy. But with the looks of an African Beauty Queen along with her humorously hypnotizing personality it's practically impossible for him to remain angry for too long. Besides, he's from the suburbs, while Candy on the other end is from the Hood, the allure of her ghetto fabulous lifestyle is far too appealing to him. He's hooked and Candy knows. But while on a weekend vacation to Atlanta Rod shows Candy that while he may appear softer than the thugs she's grown up around he is undoubtedly the only real Man she's ever known.

Candy always thought Rod was punk because he wasn't knocking her around silly or being disrespectful. It was quite a gentleman. It took a situation to finally open her eyes and realize what she was use to, was far from being a man. What she had was really the only real and true man she ever had. I gave it 3.5 because even for a book it had too many errors and this is a novella. To me it's more of a young adult speed. None the less, it was an easy and smooth read.
Candy was a piece of work. I don't know how Rod put up with her. She was always flying off the handle about one thing or another. But he stuck with her. The story was ok but didn't have any real direction of where it was going. It was just like an adventure for the characters. The author could really use an editor as well. There are multiple errors on every page.
This book was stupid and just really pointless with no storyline. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Worse I've ever read and I've read some horrible ones in my day
