A wireless wake-up call, with a message for all of humanity. Radiation from wireless technologies now spans the globe, affecting all forms of life. The resulting electromagnetic fields (EMFs) are causing epidemics of illness, addictions and disorders that often fail to be attributed to the true underlying cause. With humour, insights and discoveries from the forefront of modern science, this book tells a profoundly personal story, revealing the deeper truth about our love affair with technology, why governments are hiding the facts, and how neuroplasticity and quantum physics are transforming our perception of reality and our capacity to transform our personal and planetary health. This book will help you, whether you have been knowingly affected by EMFs or not. It is divided into four 1. The story of This includes my personal story of how I have been affected by EMFs and what I have learned, in the process (with some rather quirky humour). 2. Fighting for our This section presents the science on electromagnetic fields (EMFs), a medical explanation of electro-sensitivity, what you can do to enhance your well-being and personal environment, and some of the legal and other measures I have taken to address the issue. 3. Uncovering the deeper I explore the deeper dynamics—what’s driving our reactive, addictive, self-destructive behaviour, our lives and our realities, and how we can give ourselves what we have been missing. 4. The call to consciousness This section offers empowered solutions for reclaiming our health, our autonomy and our life, combined with a call to consciousness designed to put us back in touch with our phenomenal co-creative powers and a deeper understanding of what we are being called upon to do.
Stunning book. Absolute must-read. It got better and better the more you got into it! After reading this, I started turning off all the Wi-Fi in my house when not needed, and at night, I turned off and unplugged most electrical devices in my room. Here are the best bits from the book:
But there’s nothing more exciting than creating magic in your life. Once we step up to create a shift, we step back from consumerism.
The worldwide obsession with perpetual connectivity reflects our deep yearning for a spiritual connection—with ourselves, with nature, and with each other.
As Eric Andrew-Gee reports in The Globe and Mail in January 2018, former Facebook president Sean Parker recently admitted that the social media platform was designed to hook users with spurts of dopamine—the neurotransmitter released when the brain expects a reward or acquires new knowledge. “You’re exploiting a vulnerability in human psychology,” he said. “[The inventors] understood this consciously, and we did it anyway.”
According to Dr. Nicholas Kardaras, author of Glow Kids, “digital heroin” is arguably the most pervasive and destructive recreational “drug” in society.
Composed of hardware (our body) and software (our soul), we are individual vehicles for consciousness.
True progress for our planet is not about having faster, smarter, endlessly new gadgets, but about kinder, more abiding, deeper, and more fulfilling human interactions. Testifying in opposition to the smart meter program in California, my late sister Marti Kheel once said, “When standing at the edge of a cliff, progress is taking a few steps back.”
Never leave an unused appliance plugged in, as the cord/cable and socket will emit a strong electrical field. Don’t stand near them when in use.
Keep your cell phone switched off when not in use. Never wear it on your person, and never charge or keep it in your bedroom at night. During the day, avoid putting it in a breast or hip pocket. Keep cell phones away from babies and small children—they are much more susceptible to harmful radiation than adults. (While this is good advice, I feel that using a flip phone—or no cell phone at all—would be preferable for one’s health, while reducing the demand for so many cell towers.)
Never sleep with an electrical cable or plug behind or near your head—such as the cord from a bedside lamp going behind your bed to reach a socket. The electrical field can disrupt sleep and other body functions. Check the other side of your bedroom wall for any appliances plugged in there, for the same reason.
Don’t feed the scenario you fear; feed the reality you wish for.
“But if we really want a sustainable society, we have to develop technology a heck of a lot more carefully than we have been doing for the past few centuries.”
Breaking free from your own dysfunction and conditioning is probably the most difficult thing we could ever do, if we choose to do it at all. Our pre-programmed minds will be our greatest resistors and saboteurs—often even more tenacious and harmful than external oppressors. Yet unless we take the high road of empowering ourselves out of dysfunction to a place where we can have a meaningful positive impact on our world, we’ll never see what we’re really made of.
Once upon a time… the Earth was flat. Smoking was good for you. Thalidomide was great for morning sickness. Asbestos made excellent insulation. Nuclear power was the way to go. GMO crops were a godsend to farmers everywhere. Hydrogenated oils were cost-effective. Now, we have Wi-Fi and mobile networks connecting us to everyone, everywhere, every second of every day—and creating a pervasive, virtually inescapable, unprecedented, unchecked, and rapidly escalating proliferation of radiation in our environment. But don’t worry: the wireless telecommunications industry and your friendly, health-conscious government say it’s safe!
Electromagnetic radiation breaks down the all-important blood-brain barrier, causing leakage of toxins into the brain and the death of neurons, which can result in early dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.
Hard-wire your modem/router to your computer and turn off the Wi-Fi function—or at the very least, turn off Wi-Fi at night and when not in use.
What will the next generation think of us when it becomes widely recognized that our high-tech radiation-emitting gadgets are creating all kinds of health problems and fatal illnesses—not to mention killing off the birds and bees so essential to our food supply?
This explains why we so readily focus on the power of external authorities and circumstances rather than our own greatness and godness. (No, that’s not a typo; I do mean godness—our innate capacity to change our minds, our bodies, and our environment.) If we were not subconsciously conditioned to feel powerless, unworthy, or unimportant, we would realize that we are powerful creators, with all the ingenuity, imagination, magnetism, and creativity required to make things happen. If we’re not creating, we’re just surviving—since we can’t do both at once.
It’s time to be defined by a vision of the future, says Dispenza, instead of memories of the past.
Being passionately engaged in your work, exercising vigorously every day, playing music, breathing deeply, meditating, and enjoying friendship and laughter with like-minded individuals seems like the natural antidote to many of life’s challenges, including electro-sensitivity. If I can engage in all of those things while in this healthy, low-EMF environment, I can’t imagine not emerging a great deal stronger. Disengaging from the irradiated world is not enough on its own; isolating myself won’t bring holistic healing or overall strengthening. By retreating, I’ve become almost two-dimensional when I really need to be multi-dimensional. I must take myself to a higher dimension to protect myself from what seems insanely inhuman and physically insurmountable.
Ironically, the insensitivity of the majority often leads to the super-sensitivity of the few, creating a strong duality of opposites. This reminds me of a principle in psychology regarding relationships: if one partner suppresses anger, the other may end up expressing it instead.
“Too many people obsess about the problem,” she says, “almost as if they have an addiction to suffering.” Any analysis that ignores solutions is incomplete and part of the problem.
Being connected to everyone all the time makes us less attentive to the people we care about most.
Overexposure to digital technology causes a host of ailments. Whatever the social environment, these specialists describe children who are not developing normally: they do not speak, they do not communicate, they are very agitated—or, conversely, passive. According to the authors, these disorders are similar to the symptoms of autism, with the major difference that they disappear when screens are removed.
A child’s brain tissue and bone marrow have different electrical conductivity properties than adults, due to higher water content—which means children can absorb 10 times more microwave radiation than adults. Permanent low-level microwave exposure can induce chronic nitrosative and oxidative stress, damaging cellular mitochondria.
The degree to which we blame others is the degree to which we feel powerless over our own lives.
I’ve heard countless stories of people reaching their tipping point when some additional factor entered their lives—the installation of a wireless smart meter, the stress and grief of losing a loved one, getting a new iPad for Christmas, moving into a smart home, or starting a job that required hours of cell phone use every day. Something, at some point, will inevitably tip you over the edge—and you won’t see it coming.
Although our dysfunction is born out of negative subconscious beliefs, belief is not what matters most in healing ourselves and our environment. A strong voice, backed by assertive action, emboldens us and enhances self-worth. When we hear ourselves speak the deeper truth, our minds and bodies listen, impressed with what we are telling the world and ourselves in the process.
Drinking plenty of pure water throughout the day greatly boosts resilience, facilitates regular elimination, and ensures proper electrical conductivity and communication between cells.
Protecting sleep areas from harmful contamination is the main priority because we are up to 100 times more vulnerable to stressors during sleep. EMR is known to disrupt melatonin production. There should be no energized wiring or devices within three meters of sleep areas.
Radon, a subcategory of ionizing radiation, is a naturally occurring, odorless, colorless radioactive soil gas from uranium decay. It is ubiquitous and relatively harmless in outdoor air but potentially lethal when concentrated indoors. Levels vary widely by location. This worldwide problem exists where radon seeps into buildings and accumulates, especially with inadequate ventilation. It is the leading cause of lung cancer in non-smokers, killing over 20,000 people in the USA and Canada. The EPA recommends radon testing in all homes and buildings, whether in high-radon zones or not. There is no known safe level.
The book starts well. A nature photographer and a person that is both writer and performer certify the science is right.
Over the millennia there have been demonic possessions, alien abductions and I was expecting the reptilian overlords exposing themselves at some point. From this point of view the book is quite tame. The story is sad. A troubled person describing the pain. But not much else. If only the editor would have had the decency to turn this text into a biography!
I have been following the situation with EMFs and the threat they pose, for some time now. This is the first book I have read that clearly demonstrates the issues. Firstly, it is a personal account (very humorous in places) of the onset and awful consequences (a brain tumour) of EHS - electromagnetic hypersensitivity, followed by the author's struggle to deal with it and protect herself in an unsympathetic world, and lastly some enlightened solutions. Unique and highly recommended.
This book provides a recipe for all to tap into their true, authentic self as human beings. The writer has an excellent grasp on presenting us with what's at stake, should we not heed the call for awakening. Possibilities are endless, and we all can be the change we want to see. Thank you, Olga, for drawing awareness towards this timely moment in time.
