Naima is a succubus, and she is fleeing for her life through heavily wooded terrain when her pursuers are attacked by a large wolf. Bryce, one of her attackers and the group’s leader, escapes and hides out in a nearby barn to recuperate briefly before going after her again. He is hunting Naima to avenge his brother’s death at her hands. The brother had become obsessed with the succubus, kidnapped and held her captive, until she accidentally absorbed his entire life energy when he’d attempted to sexually assault her.

Following the wolf to safety in a secluded cabin, she meets the grief-ridden occupant, a shapeshifter named Gage. He is the wolf and has hidden himself away in the woods suffering from the loss of his mate, Alicia, the year before in a car accident.

The story of Lost and Found is about these two lost people finding each other and healing together. There is instantaneous attraction between the two which both fight making for some nice tension and wonder on the part of the reader – “Will they overcome their problems or not?” The story contains somewhat graphic sexual situations, but I thought they were well done.

This novella is recommended for readers that enjoy paranormal romances, shapeshifter stories, wolf pack tales, and something a little different – a succubus.

I’m going to start out by saying that this author had a unique twist to a genre that is pretty well beat to death. Supernatural love stories are saturating the market and it’s hard to find one you haven’t already read a million times, so I was really pleased that the female protagonist was a succubus, a supernatural creature I don’t have much knowledge about.

That being said, this story was so short I read it in under an hour. There was no filling us readers in with backstory outside of the glossed over cliff notes, and there was no time for character development. I feel like I could have fallen in love with our two protagonists, but the sex scene was the longest interaction we get between them, pretty much the only scene with detail (though everyone likes a good sex scene!). The succubus dynamic could have been interesting, but it felt like more of a side note than a huge character trait.

The author had a great idea, but even as short stories go, this was an exceptionally short story. I’m looking for a story I can be vested in with characters I care about. I didn’t get it with this one.

What a fun and unique shifter romance! I'm a sucker for a great paranormal story and love finding new authors to read. This little novella was unique and weaves two of my fav supernatural beings together . . . but you'll have to read to find out! Great description, sexy romance, a little angst, and darkly handsome brooding alpha males - what more could a girl want? The added layer of love and loss was a nice touch and one I enjoyed.

Pick this little gem up - you won't regret it! As an added bonus the author included an extra shifter PNR that was a sweet little treat. My only complaint was I wanted more (would have been great to have an epilogue for the second story). I'll be looking for more from this author and hope to find more works in the future.

Wow!

I really enjoyed this book! I liked how the relationship between Gage and Naima developed. I also liked how they were both supernatural beings. Also, the sexual scenes were pretty hot. I just feel like the book was a little short. I I know there was an immediate attraction between the two main characters, but I feel like things happened way too fast between them. I feel like Gage could have pushed her away a little longer because he seemed to get over the death of his mate really fast when Naima came along. Overall, I really enjoyed this novel, but I feel like it has more potential.

This is a real page-turner!
Never have I been so drawn to a werewolf story since Twilight. Full disclosure, I don’t typically read supernatural stories. But I love a good romance. And I love tight writing. And Ashley Ford accomplishes both in this book. Her writing is so clear and concise, I kept turning pages, despite my many “Okay, I’ll cook dinner after this chapter” promises. It’s a short sweet book with vivid descriptions — but not so descriptive that you get bored and crave action. Each scene moves quickly to the next, the dialogue is crisp, and the chemistry between Gage and Naima is so artfully written, I neither blushed nor wished for more. The only reason I’m giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is because I reserve 5 star reviews for my blog. This isn’t the type of genre I’m typically drawn to or blog about. That said, I’ll be reaching for more Ashley Ford the next time I need a sexy romance that’s not too in-your-face graphic.

This was a short, sweet, steamy shifter-succubus adventure with underlying themes of trust, grief, forgiveness, acceptance, survival, hope, and love. It was well written, with wonderful characters and a creative plot. I hadn't read anything by Ashley Ford before, but can't wait to enjoy more of her works in the future.

A copy of Lost and Found was given to me, but that did not affect my review.

What do you get when a heartbroken wolf shifter saves a succubus on the run in his forest?
A steamy romance with a brooding alpha you won’t want to put down.
No spoilers but you want to read this one soon.

This was so much more than I expected going into the read. L&F was a well written steamy story and the characters have chemistry and depth.
