This is rather hard to follow, very AU even where it does not need to be, very vague in places… the plot so far is… mediocre, but at least has an appropriately stronger enemy, too strong for their survival so far to be believable, in fact.
Americanisms explode, and the story is so incomprehensible in so many places (and don’t get me started on that ending…) that the verdict is “several hours of my life I’m not going to get back” and pure regret for soldering through to the end.
