Charming orthopedics doctor Clark Baker is known for being a big flirt. He loves women, they love him and he's never lacked for dates. But he's ready to settle down now and find a serious relationship, and the one person he sets his sights on, bookstore manager, Tammy Burns, does not take him seriously.
She likes him quite a bit. He's easy to like. But in her opinion, Clark is simply not boyfriend material. She dated someone like him a long time ago and he cheated on her. She's not going to make that mistake again. So, she takes her friend Anna's advice, somewhat reluctantly, and decides to try a new dating site, Soulmates. And that's when things really get interesting....
Pamela M. Kelley is a USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author of women's fiction, family sagas, and suspense. Readers often describe her books as feel-good reads with people you'd want as friends.
She lives in a historic seaside town near Cape Cod and just south of Boston. She has always been an avid reader of women's fiction, romance, mysteries, thrillers and cook books. There's also a good chance you might get hungry when you read her books as she is a foodie, and occasionally shares a recipe or two. :)
Who's got mail? Cute retelling of a cute story. Like all RER books, short, sweet and clearly only kind people live in this universe. Plus I've been waiting for the update on the relationship between Jacqueline and the fairies! Thanks for a lovely afternoon traveling to Idaho.
I have enjoyed getting to know Clark as a secondary characters in several books now, and I was thrilled to see that it’s time for his own romance. I just wish I could have liked Tammy more than I did, so you can call me Team Clark on Teasing Tammy. She is so convinced that Clark is only a flirty player who doesn’t have a serious about anyone attitude. She couldn’t be further from the truth if she tried. Clark wants to settle down with the right woman if he could only find her – so far he’s got a track record of users, gold-diggers and those more interested in being Mrs. Doctor than in the actual marriage. Clark had just about given up finding that special someone until he met Tammy and tried unsuccessfully to get a date with this lovely lady. An event makes it possible for them to spend more time together – Clark is convinced that Tammy is his one. Tammy isn’t.
I enjoyed Teasing Tammy as it was a fun romance, but I could never fully get behind Tammy because of her attitude, and her willingness to always, always believe the worst of Clark without ever asking him outright about things. I’m glad they got their happy ending but that didn’t change my feelings about Tammy. I am very glad though that it seems the faeries are no longer so mad at Jaclyn anymore. Again, a fun, charming romance from River’s End Ranch that I would recommend to any Contemporary Romance reader.
I read this title through my Kindle Unlimited subscription.
Tammy and Clark more of the sweet love at rivers end ranch
Like all the Rivers End Ranch Books it is all about sweet love. The story of Clark getting the courage to ask Tammy out I love. Most times I never Think of the man being nervous about asking the girl out. The way it toke him so long to ask her was great. The Tammy felt when she over heard the old girl friend talking. I could just feel her pain thinking what she was thinking about Clark. Keep the series coming can't wait until the next one.
I find these books easily relatable and a lot of fun to read! The fact that so many characters from other series appear in Rivers And ranch is great, !like Dr Lachelle and Pastor Kevin from the Mc Clain boys French and let's not forget about Bridget and Kaya! I love how all the series are interconnected and we can follow all the characters from place to p!ace. Good job! If you haven't read this series of indeed the Culpeper chronicles or the At the Alter series then it's past time you did!
This was an interesting story and I like the lead up that Andrew seems to be a little like “Good Luck Chuck” dad him once and then find you true love. I am happy Tammy found hers in Clark. even though it took second chances a bit on both parts.
Always a good series to read and this on was no different. Recommend any of the Rivers End Ranch up to #47. Will let you know later about #48.
Readers know it's serious when the girl chooses window treatments and wall hangings for your new home. But Tammy doesn't. Clark is a player and she knows it. He's okay to hang with, but he's not someone who you introduce to family and make long term plans with. But Clark is serious this time. Tammy has caught his eye ans snared his heart. Will time and an online site for dating solve all his tongue tied problems.
Clark has been wanting to go out with Tammy for awhile but when he asks she laughs him off like he is joking around. He's determined to take her out. Tammy is attracted to Clark but it seems he dates a lot and doesn't really do long term. Great story. A little drama and lots of laughs.
Tammy & Clark When a flirty female-friendly doctor crosses her path, Tammy is wary and backs away to protect her feelings and her heart. When the doctor is responsible for a foot injury, his assistance is invaluable as a chauffeur and friend. When he asks for assistance and advice in decorating his house, how can she say no? (Missing Melissa)
I fell in love with Clark as he is very much the boy next door as Tammy is the girl next door. Tammy didn't make it easy for him and that was fun to watch. Glad the fairies got over their tiff.
The Fairies are talking to Jaclyn again . She is persistent.
Clark Baker has been trying to get Tammy Burns to go out with him for a while. An accident may just give him his chance. No spoiler alert. I really enjoyed this story.
Clark and Tammy are a great couple! Looks like they made for each other. Jacklin wasn't as much a part of the story as she some times is but at least the fairies are talking to her again!
Clark/doctor and Tammy /bookstore manager. I enjoyed this cat and mouse romance. I'm glad that the fairy's and Jaclyn are on better terms, this made for humorous dialogue. This story has a very satisfying HEA.
Clark wanted to date Tammy and she only saw him as a friend. He had had a lot of dates.she broke her foot and Clark drove her everywhere. Then they were both signed up to a dating on line and what's funny was how they fit on line.
You can't ever go wrong reading a Rivers End Ranch book. I loved this story because it felt like spring to me. It was a great story to read over Spring break.
I have read all 47 books in the Rivers End Ranch series and have enjoyed each and every one. I have read several books by Pamela Kelley and always look for one s I haven’t read yet. I already have several more in my library ready to read.
It always pays to get the whole story. Eavesdropping never comes out ahead in the game of life. Assuming is never good. That's all I am going to say except you should read this story!
I chose 5 stars because I really think this book was as great as the others. This series is so enjoyable and I loved the characters. They became friends and family members for me. I don't want any of these books to end!
All of Pamela’s books make me feel good. They are sweet and nice! No major drama and problematic. Just warm!!! Great reading by the fire on a cold winter day, or at the beach, or just because.
Complications and misunderstood conversations and two people searching for each other leads to some interesting dating and finding the right soul mate.
This is a great series. I love the books and always look forward to the next one. The group of authors that write this series are all really good at what they do.
Too bad Rivers End is only a series setting. I would definitely be booking a vacation to consult with the fairies. Another successful match made in Restin.
