Quite a cool book, the author managed to bring in many ways of life and those who lived them - managing to live in their ways of life very well. And I won't say what happens, but what does happen is treated incredibly well - it's never black and white, which is easier said than done. If you like a little drama mixed up with real life all set here in NZ, I think you might like this.

I’m not sure if I liked this book or not. It’s well written and characters are drawn carefully. There is an interesting sort of plot and I loved the NZ setting. However I found it slow and in places it lost my interest.

First part slow (& fairly irrelevant imo) but much more interesting once we get to the actual house guest.
