The author was a close friend of "Bucky's" and this reads like a love letter of sorts. Much time is devoted to stories of Bucky sailing, having problems with finances, and being loved by everyone that came across him. It is a grand fluff piece that is enjoyable to read and learn about the personal side of Bucky's life and legacy. The great untold story seems to be the relationship between Bucky and his wife Anne, who is in the background constantly, but is often a side note in this biography. The dated information is an interesting addition to a current reading of the book. Oh, what this man may have accomplished with the wonders of home computing and the internet.
