Caitlyn O’Leary is a USA Bestselling Author, #1 Amazon Bestselling Author and a Golden Quill Recipient from Book Viral in 2015. Hampered with a mild form of dyslexia she began memorizing books at an early age until her grandmother, the English teacher, took the time to teach her to read -- then she never stopped. She began re-writing alternate endings for her Trixie Belden books into happily-ever-afters with Trixie's platonic friend Jim. When she was home with pneumonia at twelve, she read the entire set of World Book Encyclopedias -- a little more challenging to end those happily.
Caitlyn loves writing about Alpha males with strong heroines who keep the men on their toes. There is plenty of action, suspense and humor in her books. She is never shy about tackling some of today’s tough and relevant issues.
In addition to being an award-winning author of romantic suspense novels, she is a devoted aunt, an avid reader, a former corporate executive for a Fortune 100 company, and totally in love with her husband of soon-to-be twenty years.
She recently moved back home to the Pacific Northwest from Southern California. She is so happy to see the seasons again; rain, rain and more rain. She has a large fan group on Facebook and through her e-mail list. Caitlyn is known for telling her “Caitlyn Factors”, where she relates her little and big life’s screw-ups. The list is long. She loves hearing and connecting with her fans on a daily basis.
Caitlyn O'Leary's Midnight Delta Navy SEAL box set is an action packed ,edge of your seat , adventure romance. It starts with the Midnight Delta's team leader saving a damsel in distress in the mean back streets of San Diego, moves on to an extraction of a family kidnapped by a Mexican Drug cartel, and ends back in San Diego with the take down of a human trafficking ring. It is non-stop conflict but along the way the SEALs meet women that bring them to their knees in ways the villains never could. What I love about Caitlyn O'Leary is her female heroines have been broken by circumstances in life beyond their control but instead of becoming victims they grow through the experience becoming amazing women in the process. The very alpha men in this series are blown away by the women's strength as well as their beauty. And the couple become equal partners and better people because of their love. It's the type of relationship that many of us readers dream of having. Caitlyn O'Leary's masterful storytelling makes you believe that relationships like this are possible. She doesn't just write about happily ever after, she makes you believe that it can happen to all of us! I can't wait to find out how the rest of Midnight Delta fares in the rest of the series!
I’m in two minds about this box set. On the one hand, the plot lines are good and interesting. While each book is a standalone for each couple, there is a plot thread running through that makes more sense if you read them in order. The heroes are SEALs - typically alpha, sexy and hot. Strong characters with a strong moral compass and a need to protect. The intimate scenes are sufficiently steamy and each couple get their HEA. But on the other hand, there were some things that really frustrated me - although not enough to make me stop reading. This book is in dire need of editing. There are numerous errors throughout - grammar, missing words, extra words, wrong name being used etc - and it got really annoying. I also found myself annoyed with the heroines; they were constantly convincing themselves that they aren’t “worthy” of a SEALs attention, that they aren’t really desired or they’re too much of a burden/too broken etc. While I get that these women went through some very brutal and harsh situations that they would need to recover from, I felt that it went on for too long and lead to the heroes practically begging them to believe a relationship is possible.
Women who need to be rescued for very different reasons but become strong women who can stand up to the DEAL's and bring them to their knees. Love watching the men fall hard and fast and not know what hit them. Sophia is being beaten when Mason rescues her. Then he thinks she needs to be out in bubble wrap and protected from everything. Lydia is severely beaten protecting her sister after her family is kidnapped by the cartel. Clint carries her through the jungle for five days before the can get her to the his and the family is put in witness protection. Clint keeps finding her each time she is put in hospital and when someone tries to kill her there the SEAL team takes over the family's protection detail. Will Lydia allow Clint to put her in bubble wrap? Beth is being hunted by cartel heads son because he thinks he owned her since she as young. He is now involved in human trafficking and abused those that look like Beth. Jack is tasked with keeping her safe. Beth finally finds her inner strength just before she is kidnapped. Will she be able to use this new strength to help herself until the DEAL's can find her? Will Jack ever let her out of his sight again?
Great set of stories all in one set. I'm basing my review on the 2 that I've read by themselves, and I really need to find the time to catch up with the first one.
Her Loyal SEAL Loved the plot, there was drama and romance all rolled in one. Alpha SEAL hero (computer geek) meets troubled girl (also computer nerd) It's a meeting of the minds and bodies. He and his team swoop in to save the day and keep her and her family safe. Plenty of action, suspense and sizzling scenes creates a great story.
Her Adoring SEAL I find this author so easy to read, the story flows, the plot thickens and the characters are real. This is mainly about Beth and her family and Jack the military SEAL and his team. There is plenty of suspenseful drama in this story along with a sweet romance in the making. Beth comes with emotional baggage from her past (her fear of men) and Jack is a gentle yet tough giant. Together they gently sizzle before there is finally a fiery combustion, yes I loved their chemistry. There is plenty of action and drama throughout the story and you will be hooked. I couldn't wait to see how it panned out as I wanted my HEA.
I bought this set for Jack and Beth's story. I had the other two already purchased. This story was very good. In this story we find out why Berto Guzman wants Beth. She has been under Jack's protection since the later part of Clint and Lydia's book. Jack falls hard for the woman he is assigned to protect. He is honored the Midnight Delta Team has honored and trusted him with her wellbeing. This story was very edge of your seat. I look forward to Dare and Rylie's story next. I could not give this box set 5 stars because there were some grammatical errors in book two and three.
Really enjoyed these military romances with enough seal action in the field with the social action and background history included. The weak points were the medical information. For example if everyone had tournaquits rather then pressure dressings many of our heros would now be without limbs and you Never suction out a snakebite no matter what
This is a wonderful story that has a team of SEAL men that go above and beyond for the women they love. Mason met Sophia when she was out looking for her brother and then saving a young prostitute. Clint met Lydia when he team saved her family from a drug cartel in Mexico. Jack met Beth when he was brought in to protect her when the team was busy with the rest of the family.
5 stars for Midnight Delta Navy SEAL Box Set by Caitlyn O'Leary
One of the best ways to read about amazing characters in an unbelievably well written series is in a box set. You will fall hard for these hot and sexy seals but especially their amazing lady loves who have gone through some pretty serious stuff. Amazing storylines that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Can't wait for the next instalment of Midnight Delta Seal Team.
I love Caitlyn O'Leary and her SEALS if I'm down and need to lose myself in a book then these characters are my medication. The women are never damsels in distress, but the SEALS will always be their for their women. The storylines are interesting and I'd recommend if you like military theme books to give these a go.
This bundle consists of the first three books in the Midnight Delta series. All three books are action packed. There is an ongoing storyline in each book. However, each book can be a stand alone but you will get more enjoyment if you read the series.
Box set of the first 3 books in the Midnight Delta series, takes you on a journey of the Navy Seal men and the women they fall in love with and will do whatever it takes to keep them safe! Good start to the series!!
I found myself interested in the mystery, the stress of each situation as it was with Beth and Lydia plus all the smiles you get all through the book. A book that keeps you hooked from start to finish.
This is one of those box sets. That you will be glad you read every page. You know you cheer for the under fog. Well I. This one the men and women are all Hero's . In their truly amazing selfless way. Gotta read it. If you haven't altezt
Very fast-moving plots with Navy Seals as the heroes. Very realistic characters that follow through in the next book, but each book stands alone. Fascinating action that keeps you reading to the end.
I have read this series a few times and just love it. Have so much respect for the Navy SEALs for the danger they put themselves in. Doing my own research and find the facts in the book are accurate.
This is the fire three books of the Midnight series. I enjoyed reading the teams beginning. This series was done in a different direction than what I have read in the past. But well worth the money.
Navy SEALs, the women they love, fighting bad guys, and smexy-times....what more could you need? Love this series and the author. She always keeps me entertained...from the first page to the last.
