There are overlapping stories of romance here which caught me by surprise. It's a bit confusing trying to keep the names and couples straight but I liked them so I overlooked that. The stories unfold over time developing the characters and inter- personal relationships. It's always nice to have some of the other members pop up, although so far the Prince & Princess are always missing. Kurt falls a little fast and it gets a little too syrupy sappy at times but overall Kurt & Alexis are adorable and you are left definitely wishing for more...think loose ends..😉 I started to read the bonus, Surrogate For The Billionaire...but quickly lost interest as it started off too simplistic and predictable.
The song that came to mind when I was reading this book: “when a man loves a woman…” The minute Kurt sets eyes on her he was hooked, she was unconscious, but her exquisite beauty shined even with her eyes closed. He made himself her protector, she knew her name, but had no recollection of her immediate past… Kurt tried hid best to give her room to heal, but the attraction was too strong… in a very short time she became his world… Find out what happened when Alexis regained her memories and how it’s happened. I love the Murphys family, great people. Connie is a piece of work! smh 🤦♀️
I can say I enjoyed both stories. In the first story the H wanted the H do bad. He didn't want to leave her side. The crazy chick in this story,I blame her mother to filling her head with she is the one the H would be with.
The second story has a crazy woman in it as well. Sad thing to say, there are women like this. The H in this story wanted a family . However, he didn't want a wife. Not how do things change.
Not one of the books I would re read, would recommend.
This was a beautiful story even though I felt that it was kind of rushed because it started out when she was gave Milller the story he wanted plus ending things between them,to Kurt's men alerting him about the crash that Alexis,Miller and the pilot were in. Even though it was rushed I still loved the story it could've gad a consistent flow and not feel like the story was sort of all rushed together. With everything that Kurt and Alexis has been through together it made their relationship and bond stronger and closer then ever.
I just love reading the members stories. And I was not disappointed. Kurt and Alexis was so sweet and great together and just loved his family so welcoming too! I always like cowboys in stories but you know there wouldn't be a great story without some drama to keep you on your toes too. I'm looking forward to hearing more about them like the other members in the next stories as well!
Kurt: BWWM Romance (Members From Money Book 23) is a good and sensual interracial romance novella that earned a rating of four stars. I enjoyed reading this novella of Kurt and Alexis love story as they overcome the obstacles to reach their happy ever after. I would recommend this novella to everyone who enjoys reading good romantic novellas.
What a awesome suspenseful and thrilling experience to read. The characters are believable with such sizzling passionate romance this is a beautiful written story. The bonus story is just as exciting and entertaining K could not stop reading until I finish both stories. If you enjoy reading a sizzling hot passion along with amazing characters then this is one you will enjoy.
Kurt:BWWM Romance ( Members From Money Book 23) By Katie Dowe
Love the way Kurt and Alexis met .Alexis boyfriend was a jerk but dying in a plane crash was a little final but this gave her the opportunity to find true love ,mixed in with a lot of crazy and one sexy cowboy. This book is quite entertaining. Mature reader's only. The bonus book Surrogate for the Billionaire was good as well.
Loved how even though Alexis had amnesia, something still pulled her towards Kurt and they still built a love around the difficulties. Loved that Bryce and Lateisha found love with each other when they thought it was other things they were looking for in the beginning.
I couldn't really get attached to the characters. I'm not sure if it was the style of story telling that just didn't resonate with me or what. The second book was a whole barrel of "No, thank you".
Really enjoy this series of books. I can honestly say this story was as good as the others.sad to see that you hint at what's gone on in the other couples lives but no real meat. I still recommend as a good read.
I enjoyed reading this book! I also Loved the chemistry between Kurt and Alexis! I know everyone who reads this book will enjoy it! I definitely recommend this book to everyone who reads it!
Alexis wrote for a magazine where she felt stifled and was in a unhappy relationship with the owner! Kurt is a cowboy that has a successful family owned cattle ranch. This was a love story that involved a horrific meeting between a city girl and country boy!
Excellent read!!! What started out as a search and rescue, Kurt never thought he would find the woman of his dreams. Alexis struggled to remember, however she knew Kurt was the man for her!!!
2.0⭐️ Unfinished? There were some questions about the person(s) responsible for the damages made to Kurt's property; however, there was no answer regarding this aspect of the story. Much needed editing/proofing was required to fully enjoy the book. For most of the book the dialogue was extremely stilted and did not seem natural. The story was OK, but I also had a problem about the interracial aspect. Apparently, Alexis is the only black/African American that lived in that part of the country (that I could discern). And, while all of the people Alexis met exclaimed how beautiful she was, not one person showed any hostility or aloofness toward her because of her race. That was unbelievable based on my experience. I know many people don't like that type of angst in their IR books, but I want a dose of realism when reading my IR books.
Notwithstanding my review of this book, I am willing to read other books in the series because the subject matter intrigues me. Hopefully those are better edited (although this is book 23 and that should have been addressed long before Book 23)!
I really enjoyed the book and thought it was fun how all the siblings had been alone and a little turned off by love and relationships but they all found new love around the same time. If I say anymore it will give away most of the book. I also liked that the love story was set on a ranch.
Kurt. I don't know how Katie Dowe does it but she manages to create another member to add to the Elite Club. This book was filled with a whole lot of action and drama. It kept me reading and wanting more. Alexis pushed through many situations and found a man that was willing to give her everything. While fighting amnesia she found a place she felt was home and excepted her as one of their own. Also, this book had other drama going on as well. Kurt's sisters were having trouble with their love lives. And in the background little did Kurt and Alexis know there was a crazy woman out to destroy their relationship. You must read this book! The whole series is great. *** I voluntarily read a Review Copy of this book. All opinions stated are solely my own and no one else’s. ***
