The Demon Mistress by Ashlee Sinn
A very good read, that kept my attention throughout. I enjoyed the characters and story. Yea, never know what's going to happen when, Angeles and Demons get around each other and the end of the world comes. I was completely enthralled, in this book.
This book was easy to read, easy to enjoy, but not so easy when it ended. However, it looks like at least another book will be continuing the story. Although, it definitely can be read as a standalone, I don't know why you'd want to stop after this book. I want MORE AND MORE!!! I give it a strong 4.5 stars.

Arabella is a demon who’s job it is to take Bad souls to hell and Jericho is an angel who takes good souls to heaven. Arabella has been given the assignment of taking a soul and to kill Jericho who is protecting it. Arabella and Jericho fall in love and they have no idea how important their union is, it was predestined to be. They team up together to try to prevent the war that is coming. This was a wonderful read full of action, adventure, danger and some sexy scenes, plenty to keep you turning the pages. Great plot with a well written storyline, I loved Jericho he was so shy and he had a heart of gold but then again he is an angel. I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

She doesn’t want to go along with what’s planned for her so she takes a bet. Well that’s the start of the fun well at least that part of it. This author give us a sexy funny story that will have you fanning yourself one minute and giggling the next. Funny characters and a kick butt heroine who wont sit back and let others tell her what to do, unless it’s in the bedroom.

A kind of spin-off after the Vampire Huntress in which the story of Arabella, half of the demon twins, is now told.
After her twin sister married Silas, Arabella feels abandoned. She doesn't understand why her sister sticks to 1 man when there are many men who can be seduced. She also doesn't understand the concept of love; that's not for demons.
As a soul collector, she does an assignment for her sire but has to deal with a powerful angel who prevents her from taking the soul with her. Her new goal is to kill the angel. Not only because her pride has taken a bite but also to prevent the demons from showing themselves in the world of people and the chaos that will entail.
How inconvenient it is that she is so attracted to Jericho, takes him in her bed and realizes that she cannot imagine a world without Jericho. What is the punishment that awaits her and him?
A nice story with a lot of tension, a lot of sex, a lot of torture. But also a story in which the 2 main characters learn to love each other despite their differences

I was given a free copy of this book in audible in exchange for an honest review.
I liked the overall story although it took me a minute to get into it. This is an adult paranormal novel with angles, demons and everything in between.
I like the main MC who is a demon sired by an arc demon. Although she is a demon, it seems to me that she has a good sense of right and wrong (most of the time). Being an angle doesn’t mean good and being a demon doesn’t mean bad. The story is not that long but the plot is nicely built.
The book has few smut scenes in various degree. I personally enjoyed the MC interaction with her friend demon more than the love interest. The smut scene felt a bit dry and forced. I enjoyed the action part of story more.
The narrator was pretty good. No complaints there!

Not for me
I liked it decently enough in the beginning but it just got worse and worse for me.
If you adore insta loves without reason and happily ever afters then you'll probably love this book.
When the insta love first happened... I was like okay... Maybe there's going to be some reason and/or explanation for it, but there's not. It's just love at second sight, I guess.
I feel like the plot had potential, but the big shebang it led up to only lasted like an hour in book at most and then it was a happily ever after.
I don't know.. the book was just kind of a rushed, jumbled mess for me. I didn't end up enjoying it in the least and instead was a little frustrated.
It is a story start to finish though, so no cliffhanger.

The Demon Mistress is a fantastic urban paranormal romance' I definitely enjoyed it. The storyline is well-plotted, unpredictable, and engaging. The premise and the world-building are creative with fascinating characters. Angels and Demons together are just fabulous; add apocalypse to the equation, then it's even better. I was wholly entertained; my attention was captured from the start to the very end. I hope this will be turned into a series; I like to listen to the continuation.
Felicia Palmer did an excellent job with the narration. Her reading was well-paced, and she captured the various characters' personalities, breathing life into the story. Overall, The Demon Mistress is wonderful -written and enjoyable, one I'll recommend.

I went into this story looking for some interesting world-building and some good vs. evil tension that turns steamy. I ended up with a quick and easy read that left me far more curious about some of the side characters than I would have anticipated.
If you are looking for an angst-free "beach" type book, Jericho and Arabella's story is a good fit. The romance between the two is a relatively smooth road, assuming you don't see torture and an apocalypse as obstacles. If you are looking for an epic gut-wrencher, this book may not satisfy you.
If you really don't like snakes, definitely stay away!

This was a one-sit read for me, keeping up well past my bedtime ;) You'll find action, twists, steamy romance and interesting characters in this one. I really couldn't put it down, anxious to see how the family drama, hidden truths, torture and a possible end to the world was going to work out. Thankfully, Ms. Sinn did a fab job bringing me through to the other side and I'm very curious if we're going to be getting any more stories in this world. Be fab if we could!

This story had so much action that it kept me reading well into the night! An angel, a demon, the end of days, steamy sex-it was all there! Arabella’s strong, snarky, kickass attitude had me snort laughing in a few spots and then put that together with her strong, caring angel and their romance was off the charts!

I do not like to compare different works by the same author, but I will admit that The Demon Mistress was not for me. I could not get into the story of Arabella and Jericho. It is a standalone quick read, so I was able to get it done. But for whatever reason I just was not as indulgent with this one.

So this book will take you totally by surprise....an Angel and a Demon fall in love!!!! They have to stop the destruction of the human race by the paranormal world revealing themselves to the world.....they fail....or do they?.....an action packed and entertaining read that will have you glued to the book....

This can be read as a stand alone.
Part of the same universe as most of the other books. Audio was great and fit the book.
Romance between a demon and an angel, with a couple smutty scenes.
I also liked the side characters, there are hints in this book as to the other characters having their own stories between species.

I enjoyed this story line. opposites attract kind of story. This story is packed with demons and angels. they have obstacles to overcome with some sexy time thrown into the mix. first time I've listened to this author and narrator and both did a great job.

1st bk by Ashlee got this book for free and it was def worth the read. I loved the characters and how demons aren't family ha ha you'll understand when u read it. But they grab u and won't let go u just have to know what happens next.

This was my 1st book by this author and I really, really enjoyed it. I've always loved PNR so this was right up my alley. What can possibly go wrong when you mix angels and demons? Page turning And thoroughly captivating.

Arabella a demon who takes the souls to hell. Jericho a angel who also takes the souls. However there is also shifters, and vampires. Arabella is sent to retrieve a soul who is not ready to be taken down to hell, and to kill Jericho who has been sent to protect him. A well written storyline with characters with chemistry that sizzles. The battle begins as all the demons and angela get involved to stop the war to reveal their existence to the humans. Then Arabella's real battles begin as she tries, then succumbs to her emotions that Jericho awakens in her. The outcome is action packed and has consequences for all. I received a copy of this book and happily leave this review.
