I write steamy, emotionally driven contemporary and MC romance, featuring tough-as-nails alpha men who only show their soft side for their person.

My books are packed with dirty talk, detailed sex scenes, and swoony, slow-burn chemistry that explodes. I lean into dark-lite themes, sometimes forbidden tropes, but I always deliver that satisfying, well-earned HEA.

Currently, I’m riding with bikers and bad boys—but one day I’ll be bringing you the dirtiest, most seductive vampire in paranormal romance.
If you love intense love stories, broken characters, and men who love hard and fight harder, I’ve got something for you. 🖤

There are books that you read and then there are books that you devour and they devour you right back!
This is the book 2 and book 1 has to be read in order for you to properly understand what is going on.
Ok now that is out the way, I can honestly say that this is one of my favourite books of all times. Victoria has done an outstanding job with this taboo romance. The love between Noah and Sena is one that you could only wish to have in your life. They have a true friendship that you can only envy and that allows them to choose each other over anyone else. Because I HATE giving away spoilers I will not spoil this for y'all but what I can say is that the emotions in this book, bled into my soul and just held me captive on a whole other level. The way that Vic has made a point that Sena is not a "cure" and that this is not all about sex and frivolous stuff but about how true love really is a soul to soul and not a body to body experience. That love knows no bounds and that you can experience it in many ways, shapes and forms.
The book hangover right now is real, I need ice cream and a dark room to just contemplate and then I think I will be going back to re-read this series again because it has blown me away!
This is my honest and unbiased review.

"Love found me, and I’ll be damned if I let it go now." Ten million Noah Fierro Stars

My god. I don't think I've read a duet series before that had such feeling and love on every page.
One of the most moving and heartfelt friends to lovers (with a gay twist) I've ever read and I adored every single moment spent with Noah and Sena that I'm actually kind of bereft their journey is over now.

Why isn't this a running series? I'd really love more from them and their family. That epilogue was everything I always want in an epi. And then the bonus scene! Heart eyes motherchucker! We need to see more of that family pretty please with Gray on top of me

What I've enjoyed about Sena Black in both books is she is a relatable heroine. She openly admits she overthinks, she reacts too quickly and she can admit when she's made a mistake. It is a nice quality to see in a heroine.

Noah is just about the most perfect queer you could ever meet. Trust me on this. HE'S PERFECT. I love him so much. This gay man in love with a woman, his best friend, the other half to his soul, and when he declares his feelings I swear fucking angels started to weep rainbows! Devoted was invented for Noah. He's alpha to the zenith, nothing or no one will get in the way of what he wants and he makes that shit happen.

I want more from Sena and Noah.
Anything! Something!
And then I want Gray and India. Will this be a thing? It felt like a thing, right?
And that epilogue ... without spoiling anything, I want books from that too.

I can't praise Theia enough for tackling this taboo love between two friends that proves love grows in the most unexpected of places. And for fans of her biker series ... there's a delicious little Easter egg drop in there that just thrilled my underwear!

If you're looking for a delicious friends to lovers story, heavy on the friendship and hot on the lovers, then TABOO LOVE duet is for you. It's going to be on my best books of 2018. It has so many standout moments and quotes I adored.

Just quick afterthought: Goddammit, TOM!! Once you read you'll understand. GD you and your pouty lips, Tom! Sigh <3

This is a duet about friendship, love, sexuality and finding your true self with the person you love.Noah and Sena’s story though at times heartbreaking was so filled with joy I lost myself to the book the moment I started it.
So the storyline wasn’t new to me.I’d already read Our Way by TL Swan which features the same plot -falling for your gay best friend- But overall I think this was was less focused on angst and more on humor.I absolutely loved Sena’s inner monologues and how geeky she was-clears throat, fellow geek here-and even though we didn’t get much of Noah’s POV I still connected with him on a deep level.
About the tropes,I loved the best friends to lovers aspect even though their relationship became sexual a bit early in the book for my taste. The humor was also noticeable and I had a few good laughs. The pregnancy trope was done nicely and the author didn’t put all the focus on the fact that they were having a baby but rather all aspects of their journey to get their HEA.
Now I wanna just mention how amazing the dirty talk in this book was🔥I’d read quite a few books where the dirty talk just killed the mood and made it all cheesy but V. Theia really knows how to write good steamy scenes without making them cringy.Noah has a top spot on my list of dirty talking book boyfriends.
This duet is best for readers who enjoy friends to lovers trope with a bit of a twist.

ARC provided by author for my review.
...
5 “bless my socks” stars!!

I don’t know where to begin. This book was nothing short of amazing. In order to understand what is happening in book 2 you need to read book 1.

Once again Victoria has pulled all the emotions out of me.

I was screaming at Sena to please wake up and feel how much Noah loves you. Sena is so worried about the opinions of others and how they will be perceived as a couple that she can’t see the forest for the trees. Noah stole my heart. He was persistent in showing and telling Sena how much he loved her. The love he has for her was nothing he ever felt for anyone else. The heart wants who the wants.

For those of you reading the reviews have you noticed the number 38%? I will not spoil this little tidbit for you. V shocked me with this one. Little devil that she is.

I hope we get to see more of Noah, Sena and the characters in the deleted scene.

Thank you V for the beauty that is this story.

Oh my King Noah! Motherfkn Swoon Eyes

One of the things why I crush on every word V Theia writes is she gives amazing heroines. They're never wooden and 1 dimensional. She puts as much effort into the females as her gorgeous alpha males, flaws and all. I loathe perfection, it's unrealistic even in fiction, but what Sena brought was a female who admitted she overthinks and allowed others to influence her emotions, but when her turning point came she was able to admit she'd been wrong. Besides being human, and relatable, what I've adored about this heroine the most is her funny bone. "Madder than a wet hen" had me laughing louder than I should have.

Noah Fierro is a dream!! Oh god, he was everything I needed him to be in the second part of the Taboo Love duet. He never wavered in how he felt or what he wanted to build with Sena and though he was up against it not only from his kitten's doubts but from his family as well and he never once did that dick thing book heroes do and f*** up somehow!

Though there was some twists and turns to cause me to have heart failure and my eyeballs to leak, it was also a comfortable read in that I didn't worry one or both of the couple would fall out of love.

This was a story based on soulmates and the cutest friendship I've ever seen. They truly do love, like and care for one another.

Really character driven and as I say in most of my reviews that is my catnip! I love a good story, which this is, but when it focuses on developing the feels between the H/h with not much interference from the outside cast, then I am in love. And when it's like a hero as Noah Fierro *howls at the moon* oh that man has my heart, my soul and my underpants in his queer hands. The things he says melted me into goop. How he loved and cared for his best friend was just gorgeous.

description “Sena, I would do anything to keep you. To make you mine. Christ, I want you to be mine more than I’ve ever wanted anything before, and I'm tying myself in fucking knots to convince you of that. Everything else I would drop and not care, but I won’t lose you. Those aren’t just words. When I say you’re my everything, my whole heart, I mean it. I’ll be a dusty pile of misery if you won’t have me, Sena.”

Now I'm in starvation mode because I truly adored this duet and it's one of those times I want it to be a long running series.
The Fierro kids, yes!
Gray Ellison, Yes!
Even you, Tom! You foot rubbing bastard!

I'm Sena-Sexual too

What an end to a perfect duet series.
When Taboo Love is fun and compelling reading.

When all life ceased to exist until I devoured this book then you know it was good. Theia draws me in like no other and makes me feel all the feelings I want to feel when reading a truly emotionally charged romance.

Holy fuck, the unconventional raw passion oozes and drips all over this second installment duet series. From Sena's inner monologue to her descriptions when she's thinking of Noah that made me lose my breath and then we get insight into how Noah's feeling and thinking and it was those chapters that leveled me up until I was giddy.

The chemistry between MC's was palpable. That first scene on page when they were finally together again, how he strode in and just took Sena over. Christ! HOT. And one of my stand-out scenes of the book. I loved their friendship, but as the romance bloomed it was their passion for each other, not just sex, but to just BE together that had me tearing through the pages ferociously. These friends despite the odds fell in love and isn't that just a lovely life lesson. To go with your heart.

I was addicted to these two.

And this is one of those books the hero gets consent in a high tension scene. I liked that addition. Not that it was needed since Sena is all the way crazy for Noah and I never for a second thought he was doing something wrong. it just was sexy to get from an alpha when so many books these day are alphaassholes who think taking a heroine regardless of what she says is cool. I'm over the asshole alphas and I'm all for the Noah types. Attentive to the max. There's nothing he won't do for his Sena. He's constantly on the battle, trying to get his girl ( thought it was her in love first, which I kind of liked the twist that it's Sena who struggles ) against his family and friends who have always known him as a gay man and can't accept/believe he fell for his soulmate who happens to be a woman.

I loved the kids. How great and well rounded they are in just a few sentences. It's the mark of a good storyteller who can make me want whole books of bit-characters because my interest was piqued instantly! Team Theo!

I should take back every star! You made me want to think about liking Tom! This is highly unfair!

Now with that said...I freaking love this book! Find a way to give us more! Noah and Sena love story is the best. The epilogue was everything.

I did receive an ARC, but that did not influence my review. The words, feelings and making me like Tom did.

This is book two of the duet and it got better. Noah and Sena will draw you right in. Sena can not understand how her best friend is in love with her. But now there is a baby to consider. There are so many opinions that scares the bejesus out of Sena. Thank God Noah is a persistent villianous Lion. He shows Sean what she means to him without trying to stop her own life. V. Theia has the Southern woman down to a art in this book. Especially Senas Mom. The laughter will make you look like you are crazy. The struggles will make your heart hurt. And the steamy scenes will make you crave something else. Do Not Miss this Duet.

Book 1 broke me, but book 2 shattered me... and then put me back together. I cried in parts, wanted to rage in other parts, and throw my kindle most of the time but it was so worth it for that ending. I’m in love with Noah and Sena 😍

The Perfect conclusion to a modern day love story.

“We searched for love, and we loved hard, we yearned for it instinctively right from birth, sometimes it’s painful, other times it’s downright gutting to love someone. But then you get those rare moments of loving another person so big, so strong it consumed you from the inside out, the happiness so wild and fulfilling you don’t have to question the why’s of it. You simply loved.”

I’ve quoted one of my many favorite lines in this book above because it sums up the book in the best of ways possible. This book, the duet as a whole actually, is so full of this desire to be loved fully by the one person you want to just notice and accept you for who you are and love you the same. We take that ride with Sena and Noah as they find that love, nurturing it to flourish so much so their hearts are bursting at the seams.

(NO SPOILERS, HOWEVER DO NOT READ THIS REVIEW IF YOU HAVE NOT YET READ ‘IT WAS LOVE’, as some events may be referenced)

It Was Always Love

I loved this book from the cover to the last page. And couldn’t wait until it landed in my hands. Filled with so many emotions and so much love that I still crave more from their story. There is nothing that could be approved upon on this duet. Yes there can, more books! PLEASE Once again Noah is simply perfect, the alpha in a novel that you want to rip from the pages and clone just to have your very own. His understanding, compassion, love and devotion to Sena is what dreams are made of. I rooted for Sena to have her happy ending ever since ‘It Was Love’ ended. She was left devastated and broken by her best friend and lover. How would she survive It how would I survive? How could Noah do that to her us! She remained the perfect character that didn’t annoy me with her inner turmoil. Just the right amount where you could listen to her in a real life scenario and not be annoyed. She knew what she wanted even if she hadn’t clearly made up her mind, because she wants what every woman wants; to be Loved. Noah and Sena, their ride, as long and as trying as it was, is one of my favorite love stories I’ve ever read yet different enough that I did not feel as though I’d read this story before. I couldn’t and wouldn’t change a single thing because it was that great.

Firstly I want to say I was given this as an ARC for a honest review,
and honestly it's frigging awesome! I didn't think it could get better after reading book one, I was sadly mistaken my adoration for Noah and his alpha ways trebled...I want my own best friend/gay who will treasure me like he does with Sena! and I want Sena's superpower! you have to read it to find out what it is..lol.
And when she finely sees How much She owns Noah gahhh!!!
it was beautifully written and I devoured every word! And then!! the author gives you a little sneaky peak at what might come next in the Fierro family.
I give this book five dirty hot sexy stars *****

"I’ve fallen in love with one woman my whole life. I’ve been attracted to one woman my whole life. To the point of madness for both emotions. When I told Sena I couldn’t get enough of her I meant it. It’s not because she’s giving me a child. Not only that. It’s a small part of it. She’s more radiant now than she’d ever been, and I longed to be with her in a way I’d never felt with any partner or lover before. Everyone that came before her was a passing fancy at best. Sena was vital. She’s everything. Everything." Noah Fierro

This book I don’t know where to start. It was amazing, I think I will start there. Part 1 had my heart breaking for the end and I had a feeling of dread of Part 2 because I thought could what I wanted with the two of them.

Sena- is just the girl that I think all of us are deep down, insecure when in a relationship and now she feels she has more reason to be. Will she allow Noah back in her life? I was screaming at her to.

Noah- where do I start with this man? He says so many things that even the most hardened of hearts would melt over. He made me swoon a number of times in the book and I still think I am thinking about him.

Now to 38% anyone who reads will know what I mean because V you managed to shock me and squeal all at the same time because eeep.

Thank you V for sharing this perfect novel with us all and if you haven’t read the first do it- you will not regret is. I am hoping one day we may see more Noah and Sena again.

I have never read a book with as perfect a title as It Was Always Love. All my friends know that my life saying is “ it is all about the love”. Well this story is truly all about the love and everything else is icing on the cake. This story shows us that you cannot put boundaries on love. It is inexplicable and if we are very lucky, we find a life long love and connection. Noah and Sena grabbed my heart and soul and gave me a feeling that I rarely experience when reading a book. One of my favorite lines is “A logical love is not love. Love is sometimes messy, but if you find it, you find it.” ****sighs**** I want to hand out an award for the writing of V. Theia. She can gut you with words, lift you up in the next line, leave you breathless with sensual wonder and keep you begging for more words. I highly recommend this book and all the other words of this amazing author.

Firstly, I want to say that I love how V has pulled this series off. In a world where ‘love’ is still defined by standards we no longer understand; this taboo love story is relevant to each and everyone of us in the twenty first century. If you have ever fallen in love, then you understand that you don’t choose that person. It just happens and that’s what makes it beautiful. V has written Sena and Noah as strong headed characters facing the world we live in and the judgemental eyes that still roam among us. Noah is gay, there’s no question about it, but when he realizes he’s falling in love with Sena he doesn’t allow society’s view on their relationship to stop him from getting the girl. *insert fist pump here*
The love that V writes is always off the charts, but this series yanks at your heart strings for these two people, destined for one another who are being criticized for their chemistry. And boy, does that chemistry burn. At the end of book one it’s almost as if everything has gone to hell in a handbasket…..I say no more! The story flows well, the characters build up throughout both books and you realize that you can’t choose who you fall in love with, and guess what? It doesn’t matter what anybody else thinks.

What a great conclusion to this story. The love that Noah and Sena had for each other was swoon worthy. They showed that love has no boundaries. Love is love.

Noah. Sweet Lawd that man has the best dirty talking mouth of anyone. Add in his sweet side and he would be hard to beat. Sena. Battling with issues of how this relationship will be received. Understandable but also frustrating at times. Noah couldn't have shown how devoted and steadfast than he already did. I still loved her inner commentary when it came to Noah.

Highly recommended duet.

You will believe in the power of true love.

This love story will touch your heart and never let you go. Noah and Sena share a love and friendship that even being married almost 20 years I aspire to. V. Theia has a way of pulling you in and making you root for the love of her characters. It may feel like an emotional Olympics, but it's so worth it!!💕

It Was Always Love is an amazing book! 5 stars is not enough to rate the mind blowing, heart breaking, and soul searching book by V Theia. We search for love that’s what makes us all connect to Sena and Noah. Love that is not allowed, banned for whatever reason, the heart wants what the heart wants. Noah and Sena took me on a emotional rollercoaster but each and ever emotion only had me more invested in the outcome of the two. I fell in love again and again with Noah! V. Theia writing should come with a warning on all the hotness and dirty talk (LOL) It Was Always Love is a beautiful and moving book that shows us how what is Forbidden can be so beautiful. I would not be a good person if I didn’t tell you that I highly recommend you read this book but only if you have read It Was Love.. V Theia writes with her heart which produces masterpieces like this. I voluntarily received an ARC for review.

I was love drunk over these characters. They annihilated me.
Noah is unlike any hero I have read in a long while.
His dirty mouth did things to me. Repeatedly.
And the way he loved Sena, uncomplicated amid all her doubts, even though it was his own sexuality that had gone through the biggest change of all, he made my heart smile.
I love these kinds of heroes. Where I can read the story, even if it has some drama ( it did ) and angst to cause me to stop breathing (it sure as hell did!) but throughout I can read easy and never worry that the H/h will ever stray because at the heart of the story they had love and friendship and their bond was strong and for that it made such a gorgeous read I instantly wanted more.

I adored the ending and the bit extra! And the little surprise at the beginning. All of it was a wonderful gift from the author. She's one of my favorites, certainly my favorite new author in the last year because every book she's released I've fallen in love with all the characters both leading and secondary. that's magic in my book eyes. I'll remember Noah and his kitten for a long time and read them often when I want a fix of perfect friendship that love fed from and became more.

If I could give this book more stars I would. I have never read anything like this, ever. That alone is something I'm always looking for, but then V. makes it really funny, super sweet, and hot as hell. What a combination of emotions she had me feeling through out this book and the first one. I am head over heels for Sena and Noah, maybe verging on obsessive. I love her MC series with all my heart but this blew me away. I honestly don't think it could have been written any better. I loved the Sena-sexual because love shouldn't be defined by a gender it should be how that person makes you feel. I felt the connection between these characters from the beginning. Now to say the parts that had my heart racing and wanting to message V. and ask why she's doing this to me. Her dream, girl I almost threw my kindle across the room. Then the end, I was in tears. I was holding my breath through the last few chapters, prying my heart didn't get ripped out of my chest. But I do love that V. can make me feel everything with her words. Loved reading about their kids, beautiful way to end Sena and Noah's story. I can't wait for what is next, you are a brilliant goddess with words and I am a forever fan!

I loved it it blew me away it was so realistic I loved how she showed us Sena's concerns and fears that any person in that situation would've been experiencing and I loved Noah's pov and the way that he loved Sena without limitations he just made me love him more. I loved everything about this book just wished I had more of Noah's pov

You simply love

The second installment had me rushing through pages. Just wanting to know what happened. I had to know and i got completely sucked into Sena and Noah’s world.

V. Theia writes some of the steamiest scenes I’ve ever read. Not sure there is another out there in her league because even with all her hot pages, my favorite parts are the original stories she creates. You can get lost in the story/world and truly wish she would never end her stories/world. Man that ending. Have tissue. I was not prepared for it to go that way. I had to set it down for a moment before being able to finish.

This was a story about how love cannot be put in a box. One of my favorite lines comes from Sena’s mom, “A logical love is not love.” Everyone’s love story is so different and we all go through the questions from others for our choices. V. Theia uses this story to show how a couple can get through anything if they don’t allow others to shape their love to the world’s standards. Love completely with your whole heart and your own reasons regardless of what others might think. She leaves you hanging all the way to the end, wondering if love truly is enough and will Noah and Sena’s love be ever after.

My very favorite part i can’t say because i loved the surprise too much to ruin it for someone else, but the V. Theia fans will know it and be just as excited as i was when i read it! I love Sena’s family and i think others will too. All and all an enjoyable story about two people figuring out how their relationship should be; together or will the world have other plans for them?

“You simply love.”

And that deleted scene was EVERYTHING

My face when I'd read the last word of this epic love story duet.

description

Noah and Sena!
NOAH AND SENA!!

Look, I don't know what some of the reviews are going on about, you can't have too much sex in a book when it's written so hot and perfect! it's just not possible to have too much especially when you have two people so lustfully in love with each other that their clothes spontaneously fall off at will. Now I've read a ton of books where it's wall to wall BADly written SEX and I'm all noooooo please tuck your gross dick away and walk the dog or something. Not with Sena and Noah. I wanted that heat and the frissons and the OTT want of each other.

I'm wondering if we read the same duet, because there was a ton of friendship in this duet, we see clearly how H/h met and how they were instantly connected in that magical way you get with a friend and you just don't know how but they are your fucking person and you love being around them because they make you happy and laugh and feel good and you love them. That was H/h friendship right there on all the pages. It gave me such feelings that sometimes I put my kindle down just to happy sigh and read over their words again.

I loved neurotic overthinking Sena. Isn't that all us women LOL. Even when she got what she wanted she still overthought that shit and I loved her for it. she was real and relatable and I cheered that lucky bitch on all the way!!

Noah was perfect. The end. Don't fight me on this. One of the best queer-straight for her book heroes I've ever read and he'll be my fave for a long time. there was no end to how he loved and schemed a little ( loved that ) to get his girl. I want this man on my bookshelves in paperback so I can hold him and kiss him

Tom! Please rub my feet. I forgave him in the end. Maybe he deserves love too.
The kids! YES! please more. that ending was perfect and left me feeling full and satisfied like I get after thanksgiving. The deleted scene -- my feelings were stroked! Please more of that!

Theia is an auto-buy. Queen of the alpha feels and the hot smex. I loved the bikers the most I thought. and then Noah came on the page. sighhhhh.
A great duet. Wonderful storytelling, she has a way of making me feel.

After finishing ‘It was love’ (the first book of this duet) I immediately bought this (the second) book. Because I couldn’t wait to read more of Sena and Noah’s story!! Just like in the first book it took me a bit to get into the story (the beginning started a bit slow). But once Noah was ‘back’ into the story, the story captured my attention and I couldn’t put it down until the end.

If you thought that the sex scenes in the first book were hot and steamy than be prepared because the sex level in this story is over the top!! They had a lot of sex, so much so that even I thought at one point in the book, maybe you need to talk to each other this one time haha But it certainly didn’t bother me in the whole. Because Noah is just that hot, that you can’t blame Sena that she can’t resist him.

One of the things that I LOVED about this story is Noah’s strong belief that Sena is the ONE for him. No matter the fact that he sees himself as a ‘gay’ guy and Sena is a woman. No matter, the not so nice reactions of other people when they find out that Noah is suddenly in a relationship with a woman. No matter what, he just follows his heart and his feelings for Sena. This story really shows that love can’t be put in a box and that it has no boundaries , love is love, it can come in any form or shape. The writer V. Theia really gave us a beautiful message in this duet series.

After reading and enjoying these two books, I will certainly read more books of this writer.

  Perfect. Perfect. Perfect.

Oh my freaking god!! Noah Fierro where have you been all my life!!

As a reader you hope with each romance book you pick up to find that ideal couple that you just fall madly in love with. It happens sometimes but few and far between. More often than not one or both of the lead characters annoys the hell out of me. This was not the case. I was enchanted by Noah winning his friendship and love back. Their misunderstanding was soon solved and then the story became about these two friends settling into their love while dealing with outside interference for a gay man falling in love with his bestie.

He’s my person. My everything. I can’t function without a heavy dose of Noah frequently. He’s my drug of choice. My happy and my all.

Me too me too, Sena!

Gorgeous storytelling. Hot hot hot sex scenes. seriously some of the best I've read. And two characters I fell hard for.

He not only rocked my body in ways I’d never experienced before, but we connected on a level that surpassed friendship. We fucked with a single-minded need to extinguish and reconstruct.

I really loved this duet.

I loved this duet. I'm a big fan of GFY and this book reminded me why I like this genre so much. This was my 1st straight for you book and I really hope more authors write SFY books.

🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

You nailed it! Couldn't have asked for a better life for Noah and Sena. Epilogue and extra scene may have been my favorite. Well... besides all of that dirty mouth that comes from Noah! Bravo, Theia!
