Ugh....
The stories were exciting enough but I found the writing forced and the grammar and syntax very frustrating. I'm not sure if it was bad writing or sloppy editing but it made for a frustrating experience. One of many examples would be when the main character was being disarmed by the villain on the streets of London, the writer tells us he put his gun on the floor! Who refers to the street or sidewalk as the floor?
Aside from missing words a sentence, or duplicated phrases duplicated phrases, there was a complete lack of British idioms or colloquial phrasing for characters who were all born and bread English citizens of various educational levels and social classes. Is the author an American who just figured the audience is too ignorant to notice?
I will not continue reading this series or works from this author.

What an absorbing trilogy!
The determination to succeed that Harvey has through out his entire life , makes him an outstanding character. You just know that this character won't fail, as failure is not in his DNA. Mind over matter and righting wrongs are what drives him to succeed. A some what gory tail but not one of those sickly happy endings .Loved it👌
