The book is about a men, who's name is Gulliver. He loved to travel so he made a lot of adventures. He went to a lot of Islands but on every Island there was something weird going on. At one of the Island there were very small human's only fifteen centimetres tall. On another Island, there were human's about thirty metres high. There was also a flying Island and a Island where horses could speak. One every Island, Gulliver founded a way to live with the situation.

I found it a good book, because It was not a very difficult book to read. That made it nice for me because i can not speak English very well. There were also a lot of pictures in the book, so you could well imagine how it was on the islands. The book reads smootly. There were also negative things about the book. In the end on the book there were activities. I think that it is useless and that nobody actually does it. It bothered me a bit.

I think the book is worth reading because it is exciting. If he goes to a new Island you always want to know what the strange thing is about the Island. It's easy to read so everybody can read it. It is the perfect book to learn English.

This is a very, very good book. It really is a book where u can't stop reading. It was for me personally an easy book to read, but u must understand at least a little bit of English. The story itself was very, in a way, realistic. U can read the story like it had happened to u. It’s a great book but I think the film is better. The story starts whit an explanation of the main character and right after the adventure starts immediately so u don’t get time to stop reading an put to book away. There are a few difficult words in it, but if u take a closer look in the context u will understand it. I started reading it an evening at 10pm and at 11pm is was so tired, so I stopped reading it, but stopping was very hard, because like mentioned before it’s really a good book! For me personally reading is really a pain to the backside because I just don’t like it at all. But when I started reading this book, it was like: ’Damn this is actually a very good book. In brief its really a good, book and definitely recommended.

Gulliver's Travels is a decent read if you are interested in tales of exciting journeys to creative, far-away lands. It's important to recognize the connections that he makes to the issues of his time through his use of allegories and satire. These same issues connect to many of the issues in our own world today. By the time you get to the third book of Gulliver's Travels it can feel like Swift is dragging on, but if you enjoy a novel that features a journey then this might be a good read for you.

Favorite quotes:

“After these conversations I began to wonder whether the Houys were right. Why do we humans so often fight wars and tell lies? Peace and truth begin to seem more important than making war or making money.”

“How sad that people cannot learn from the Houys! I was hoping that perhaps human beings will change their ways after reading the stories of my life with the Houys. But they accuse me of lying in my book. And now I realize that people still lie, steal, and fight, just as they have always done, and probably will always do. I will say no more. Clearly, there is no hope for human beings. I was stupid to think that I could bring reason and truth into their lives and thoughts. Humans are all Yahoos, and Yahoos they will remain.”

The man - Gulliver had a wonderful life. He traveled a lot. He spend most of his life to travel and discover different country in the world. But, if you were his daughter, his son or his wife, you would have uneassy life, specially if you were poor. The time he spend for his family counted by day, not by year.

At first, I thought this book is kind of a silly adventure tale. However, it's actually a thought-provoking fable that challenges our assumptions about the world. The protagonist's journeys highlight various global issues, prompting us to question our own values and beliefs

I finished to read by page 25.

1. Oxford, level 4
2. 12/23=70 mins. 12/24=60mins.
3. Gulliver, travel, shipwreck, Lillput, King, small human, war
4. a: I was lying on my back and my whole body, my arms and legs were strongly fastens to the ground.
b: It was very surprised accident because a body was fastened to the ground and a very small human spoke to me. It was unbelievable thing.
5. Gulliver worked as a doctor before he decided to travel. It was a very big change through his life, I think. Trying to change something better is really hard so I respected him. I enjoy how to change his mind and what he sees through his travel.

1. Oxford, level 4
2. 1/3=60 mins. 1/5=30 mins. 1/6=40 mins.
3. Brobdingnag, taller, Queen, King, Laputa, Yahoo, return
4. a: And now I realize that people still lie, steal, and fight, just as they have always done, and probably will always do.
b: Some countries battle with others still now. To trust someone is difficult sometimes. However, if people not only people who fights but also others trust others, problems will decrease.
5. I like this book because Gulliver went some countries and kingdoms and met many people so there are many adventures. People who live in each countries are unique and they have each opinions. Everyone have own characters and prides. I am not sure but I think the war is occurred by them. That is why solving these issues is very difficult.

2) 5/6 60
3)Gulliver, travel, overseas, alone, incredible, countries, back
4) Do you want to go travel again and again, even If you experienced nearly being killed or dying?
No, i don't want to go traveling with dangerous, even if I offered from a load. I might feel like to go somewhere, but I want to take a good rest before going travel.
5)I didn't know Gulliver went to Laputa or other countries. When I read a picture book of this story in childhood, it might write only chapter 1. That's why, I knew only the story that Gulliver met small people. I think it is most famous story in this book. Anyway, Gulliver's travel was too dangerous and he often got involved with politics troubles in each country. It was miracle that he kept being alive.

The book: "Gulliver's Travels" is a book very realistic: in each of the places that the unfortunate Lemuel Gulliver's visits, he met fantastic people but they have at least one aspect, that represents a human nature. The most interesting aspect is that like me, the protagonist Lemuel Gulliver (a middle-aged surgeon of the bourgeoisie) is a man passionate about languages and travel. I remember reading this book when I was a child, but only now, obviously with the change of age, I really understood the message that the author tried to send at the reader. So I really liked this book because it reflects a real criticism of the society of that time, then it trying to emphasize the negative aspects of the institutions of that time.

A man who lives in England and like traveling 🧳. He started his journey from Bristol in 1699. He escaped to Lilliput and he was very surprised as people there have an average length of 50 cm. Then, he moved to Brobdingnag here people were very tall and big. This book 📖 includes other Gulliver adventures, such as Laputa, Balnibarbi, Luggnagg, Glubbdubdrib, Japan and Houyhnhnms.

This book has a beautiful message: it teachs us to live in a better way and to change our aptitudes, because if we compare human's world and the others in which Gulliver travels, we will understand how much humans can be cruel, liars and violent. The language is simple and the meaning is deep.
