Amnesia
Deception runs deeper than the canals in Verdholm.

Just as Sam and Alec think they understand what must be done, a shocking revelation proves another deception, one that threatens not only the safety of the city, but of the ruling Anders family. Somehow, they are the only ones able to challenge a foe who has planned an attack for a decade or longer, leaving them to question everything they have learned about themselves.

Lots of drama, action and mystery unfolds!
This is a very dramatic episode in The Book of Maladies series. Lots of drama, action and mystery unfolds as Alec and Sam seek answers to the questions they have. So many unexpected plot twists and surprises you will not see coming. I think this book in the series so far is my favorite. I like Alec’s determination to do what is right and his cleverness and creativity. Sam shows a growing maturity and comes to realize what the truth is that she has been seeking. If you haven’t stuck with this series up until now then you’re truly missing out.

Book 6
I wondered how long this series could go, but happily there is just one more book, which is doable. Sam and Alex are learning more about what they can do, the city crisis is building to it’s climax, and things are getting very exciting. Onward!

This is a great book that continues the story of Sam and Alex. It ties up some storylines and sets the stage for the final book. The world and the magic are so unique and I can't wait to read the final book.

The continuous adventure of Sam and Alec. Alec and Master Helen are close to find the formula for easan paper. Can he do it? A fight for control of the kingdom is coming on which side will Sam be on? Sam plan to go find Tray. Great story.
