Angelica Hock spent the first eighteen years of her life as nothing more than the preacher's daughter. Tired of living someone else's life she decides to leave to start a life that will make her happy. Before she can get out of town, though, she has a run in with a man who attacks her. Luckily she's saved by another man whom she thought was her protector, only to realize he's no different than the people in her town as he labels her nothing more than the preacher's daughter. As she starts her new life she tries to put her savior out of her mind, but then he shows up at the strip club she's working. Once Torq he realizes the Angel on stage is the girl he's saved he needs to know more about her and he'll do anything to get her to forgive him.
The Preachers Daughter is Shelly Morgan's start to a brand new series, and after that ending it won't be a series that I will be missing the conclusion to. While I rated this book two stars I did enjoy the overall story and my curiosity has me dying for the rest. I definitely had my issues throughout my reading but there was a lot of potential in this book and if only it had a little more story to it I would have really enjoyed it.
My main issue was that not enough happened. I get that it's going to be a multi-part story but this first part of it just didn't have anything that kept my attention, and it felt like reading 12% of a story, not half or even a third. From the beginning to the end I felt like Torq and Angel moved very fast so I was shocked when I looked down and realized I was at 91% and that the book was almost over. Then the ending came and I was left just sitting there feeling confused and a little lost. I wanted to know more about these characters, especially since this is our first introduction to them.
The story was told in dual POV's but whenever we switch to a different characters POV we also go back in time just a little. It was like getting a recap of what happened in the previous chapter but this time from a different characters POV. I would have been fine with it if it was only once or twice and seemed important to the story, but not almost every change of POV. It was just a little redundant to see things happening more than once.
Bottom line, this book had a lot of good aspects to it and it's a series that I'll definitely read more of. Unfortunately I didn't feel the connection between these characters and there were some issues I had that kept me from greatly enjoying the book, but I hope others will like this book a lot more than I did. I think any fan of a good girl going bad will like Angel so don't let me discourage you from picking up this story. ARC kindly provided in exchange for an honest review.
Shelly Morgan is a New to Me Author, so when i read the Blurb i was MC book ☑️ Alpha Male meets Preacher's Daughter ☑️ Who doesn't love a good Biker Read.
While i really enjoyed the story i did have an issue with some of the book. Not the story/plot that was great. It was that sometimes i felt it repeated it's self for fillers which really weren't needed as the story was good, gripping and entertaining, but thats a personal opinion. It takes nothing away from the book.
Within the book we got a story of lust and love between a couple. One a hot Alpha Biker Dominic aka Torq the master of arms for the Rough Rides MC, the other a Sweet and Innocent Preachers Daughter.
Angelica has had enough of being "the preachers daughter" following all their rules and living her life by them for them. She dreams of being a dancer and decides she's had enough its her time. But she soon finds herself in trouble and being saved by a biker Torq. But he's not the saviour she thinks he is!! After that she decides to leave and move away she finds herself dancing/stripping at a club where her past catches up to her and she comes face to face with Torq once again.
Torq hasn't forgot about the girl he saved but what life could he give someone like her!! But when he meets her again after the bomb she dropped on when he didn't realise it was her all bets are off and he wants her!!
This story ends on a cliffhanger so be warned but i can't wait to see what happens next.
I was expecting fireworks, with them being complete opposites I thought this would have been interesting. I didn't feel their attraction at all and they don't hook up till the very end which is to set them up for the next book. I'm disappointed there was not more development of Angel and Torq relationship I didn't feel their connection at all. Unfortunately this book has not interested me enough to read the next
I've always heard that Preacher's kids are the worst. If so I understand why this girl went bad girl. All her life all Angelica has had no other identify except "The Preacher's Daughter". Every decision was made for her. Her parents picked out her clothes, her friends (which she didn't have any), even submitted her college application to a Christian, all girls college where she was to learn early childhood development. No other choice but theirs. She gets so mad about the college decision she goes for a walk and doesn't pay attention to where she is. After some trouble she takes off on her own. Dominic "Torque" was a member of the Rough Rider's. They ran the largest part of drugs out southwest. On a mission to find one of their dealers and find out if the rumors was true about him being involved in human trafficking he runs into the dealer attacking a young girl and attempting to rape her. He saves her and stabs the dealer. Dominic meets Angel working as a stripper at one of the clubs his MC owns. He treats her like a Angel and they finally get together but who's past is it that comes back to haunt them?
This is a really good book. I enjoyed the h/H connection and the slow burn.
For adults only please due to violence, rape and sexual content.
This book didn't work for me for several reasons- The story was told in dual POV's but when the pov switched, their was a recap of what happened in the last POV; so basically we had to reread the same scene twice. Then for the guy to be a SOA of a MC and a bad ass that took down an entire MC on his own, he was weak and let someone get the jump on him- didn't make sense Then Angel... her reason for running was over the top- so you are labeled the Preachers Daughter... and?! Get over it- it would be more realistic for her to be bothered by the way her parents treated and controlled her **this book ends in a cliffy-- but unfortunately it didn't work for me, so I won't be waiting for the 2nd half
Angelica Hock has only ever been known as the preacher's daughter, and she hates her life. Her parents control every aspect of it, including what she wears, down to what major she's to have at the college of their choice. After a big fight, she takes off walking and ends up on the dangerous part of town, where a man tries to assault her. Just when she thinks it's all over, she's saved by a dark knight, who makes her feel things she never knew she would. But once he finds out who she is, he's not so dreamy. Finally sick of her life, she runs away, lands in Reno, and changes her name. Now she's a dancer at Bottoms Up, a strip club that the Rough Riders MC owns, and couldn't be happier. Torq finally gets home to his club, and is having a drink at Bottoms Up, when he lays eyes on Angel, and from that moment on, he decides to make her his. But he doesn't remember that he met her before, and is shocked when she reveals that fact. While trying to keep his distance, someone is back in town for revenge, so will he be able to keep Angel safe?
WOW! I just devoured this book in less than 2 hours, as I was fully captivated cover to cover. Torq and Angel's chemistry left me having all kinds of hot flashes, as the fiery ball of flames picks up speed towards SCORCHIN' HOT sexy scene goodness. Shelly Morgan has a very talented writing style that I am highly addicted to, and I can't get enough. Twists and turns are swirling around making for a loud f-bomb dropping parade today, and not all answered yet. Now that I got all of that gushing out of the way, let's talk about the ending. Shelly Morgan is now on the list of authors trying to KILL ME DEAD for that ending, and yes I saw her reasoning behind it, but that doesn't change the fact that she is now hash tagged #EVILWHORE forevermore, as I'm FREAKIN' OUT! So I'll end with the next book cannot come out quickly enough, and to HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Holy Batman is what I was thinking when I read this book. I mean it had it all from sex slavery to big a$$ bikers to slimy parents.
We get to meet Angelica, she is the preacher's daughter. She has had her whole life planned out for her and she does what her parents say never questioning them until one day she does just that. She goes out for a night of fun and what she ends up in is a whole heap of mess and needs to be saved. When she thinks all is lost she is saved by a dark and brooding man. She is intrigued by this stranger who saves her but just as quick as he is there he is gone.
Angelica decides she needs a change in her life and she moves to Reno where she changes her name and starts a new life for herself. That is when she decides to work at the strip club under her new name Angel. She gets up on stage one night and she sees the guy who has rescued her and she wants him to see her but it seems he does not remember her. Boy is she more wrong because he does remember her and he wants her in every way.
That is when trouble comes a knocking and Angel will be saved again by Torq and this time maybe there can be something between them if they escaped this trouble. The ending yes lord that ending is a cliffhanger and boy oh boy I need book two right now! This is a must read series!
After being totally fed up with her parents and her life as a preacher's daughter and her parents Planning her life for her she just walked out. But that didn't go as planned as she ended up in the wrong side of town and her life just turned into a nightmare. So she buys a one way ticket to Reno no changes her name, and she becomes a stripper at Bottoms Up strip club, owned by the Rough Riders MC Club.
Torq a member of the Rough Riders and the sergeant at arms can't seem to forget about the girl he saved one night. When he sets eyes on Angelica he was intrgued by her and does everything to claim her. So he was kind of surprised when she informs him that they have met before already.
Even thought this book had a bit of grit and some danger (which you would expect in a MC book) I didn't feel the Chemistry between these two. And I felt the book was a bit too slow, wanted a fast paced more angst type of MC story. Which I think it had the potential to be. And I felt that when they eventually got together everything was a bit too rushed for me. Im Hoping the next book will be a bit better.

I couldn't get into this story. These characters are off, its like you are dropped into something and told a bunch of information that has nothing to do with the story. All just to fill the book. I hate to give bad reviews, but I have to be honest. This was a disappointment and I could not finish it.
Title: The Preacher's Daughter Author: Shelly Morgan
4 unexpected stars
The first in the new series by Shelly Morgan, The Preacher's Daughter, was the first time I've read a novel written by this author and it was an interesting read, one that had my jaw dropping with the ending (be warned, the author does specify that there's a cliffhanger ending) and hoping for more. Angelica has always lived a sheltered life and hopes to be able to find her own place where she's not dictated on what, who, when and where she should be and how. Her first attempt at breaking free almost ends in a disaster, bringing Tory to become her saviour, then walking away. Problem was that Angelica still wasn't happy with her situation and makes her way to Vegas and gets a job at Bottoms Up, a strip club owned by the Rough Riders MC. What neither Torq or Angelica ever expected was to have this new job bring them face to face once again and opening doors they thought were closed.
4 breath taking dreams
I had high hopes for The Preacher's Daughter and often felt like as though we were being slowly set up for something bigger and more intense - maybe the second instalment? Not to say that I didn't enjoy the book, because did, but I know, especially with that ending, that something captivating is on its way for Torq and Angelica. I'm certainly curious to find out what will happen to this series in the future.
Im so glad that we finally get to see what happened with Angel. Being brought up in a strict christian home was not ideal for Angelica aka Angel her parents merely tolerated her they controlled her life her finances her clothes even what college she should go to. Finally she found her voice and stood up to her parents only for it to fall on deaf ears. One fateful night her world changes for ever she comes face to face with the devil and in turn her Knight in shining dark leather and chrome saves the day. Its amazing how things turn out for Angelica not only does she take back her life ahe is reborn into Angel and takes a bus to reno where ahe befriends Amy who becomes more like a sister then a friend and they both get jobs as dancers at a strip club own by the rough riders mc not knowing that her dark Knight is a member of the club. I was really enjoying the story the way it was coming along was building up to some angst between Torq and Angel due to misunderstandings and hurt feelings they found a way back to each other to share one night , one magical night only to have it ripped apart when the devil comes knocking. Angel is kidnapped sold raped and anused for over two months Torq did everything in his power to find Angel and bring her back to where ahe belonged. However for me there was a few questions that i hoped would have been answered but sadly the author didnt touch base on them . I wanted to know if Angels parents tried to find her ? What happened when they realised she was gone and took there money to get away from them ? How did Georgie find Angel and Torq ? what happened to Georgie? Where did he go was he the firat one to abuse her ? I didnt like how the book ended and would have liked there to have been more closure and a better happy ending for Angel and Torq but apart from that it was a good read. I hope the next book aome of my questions will be answered.

⚡Angelica Hock aka: Angel was graduating from high school and heading for college soon oh wait she has no life to everybody she was the daughter of the Precher living in Linksburg, a small town in Illinois, blinked an eye and you missed it. But what did it matter her parents picked everything for her food, clothes, college even told her what she was going become after college. One night changed everything she found herself in a very serious position that changed her whole way of thinking. Early the next morning she packed and ran away, all the way to Reno. Angel ended up as a dancer at a Gentleman’s Club called Bottoms Up, it's owner Bear was also pesidedent of the Rough Riders MC. ⚡Dominic Veralli aka:Torq who is the Sergeant at Arms in the Rough Riders MC, out of Reno. The club is widespread, having connections all over the US and into Canada. They made money honestly and many dishonest ways. Torq is the fix it man, if it needs fixing he's the problem solver or the eraser. He fell for the lady on the-pole Only to realize she was the lady he helped on the street. And he still hadn't stopped thinking of her.
🔹️That trouble on the streets followed Tora to Reno and inflicted the worsed kind of pain on his Angel..
💥I have voluntarily read this book and my comments here are my own and honest.
The Preachers Daughter Rough Riders MC 4 stars Shelly Morgan
Angelica has been controlled her entire life. A preachers daughter she had no choices of her own. Leaving in anger from her home she collides with a man who is eager to have his way with her on the wrong side of town. Out of the shadows her savior appears. Much to her dismay this man is no better. Leaving everything behind .. Angelica finds a job in Reno with a new name far away from reality.
Torq has found his home. The MC is his family. In celebration he finds himself at Bottoms Up. The woman he lays his eyes on is a creature from heaven. Little does he know they have collided before.
This was a decent start to a new series. The plot was slow at times but I feel like we are heading to a big boom. This isn't a standalone so be warned.
I would love to know more about Amy .. lol! Seriously though I did love Angelica because she was kind and didn't expect anything from anyone. She was making her own way after being held captive by her parents. I found her determination and her independence refreshing.
I did love the characters .. there are villains of course and turmoil along with some great secondary characters that I'm sure will show up in their own stories later. Good read for the MC fans.
Thank you fir the ARC - give this one a click if you love the MC life. I think you will enjoy it!
Review to oust to Ramblings From Beneath The Sheets.
I had mixed fillings about this book liked it but didn't love . I didn't really like Angelica/ angel she just seemed a little bratty to me but in a way it was understandable with the way she raised and who her parents were I just didn't connect with her like I usually do with heroines but I did think it was awesome when she shocked Torq . Torq you're average biker but when he first saves the h and we get a little glimpse from his past and the reson why he steps in to help I felt so bad for him and then when he said those mean things to Angelica when she tried to help him I got kind of angry . But when they meet again the hero doesn't recognize her until she drops the bomb in a awesome way I wanted to high five her . You could see the attraction they both felt the pool towards each other and I thought it was sweet that he was so eager to see her dance every night . This would be my fist read from this author but I know I'll be giving her another try . copy provided for honest review **************************************** hero = 8 heroine = 7 chemistry = 8 steam = 7 character development = 7 pacing = 8 enjoyment =6 writing style =8 storyline =8 romance =7 darkness level =6 humor =4 pov= dual ending = cliffhanger cover =hot stars = 3.7 author = new to me
Torq and Angelica. A couple I would love to see as my friends.
I adored the intensity and the action of this book. The sexy and very sweet moments, mixed with the unexpected danger one sees in an MC club.
It was addictive and fast paced. The characters developed and continued to develop as each chapter past. Some moments I felt my heart break at the most unexpected moments.
One thing I wish was there, for me at least, the connected with the characters.
Though I read the book within 2-3 days, and though I loved Torq's personality and the way he dealt with the hard choices he was given; and even though my heart broke for Angelica, while I also cheered her on in the choices that she in turn reacted it.
I could not see myself attaching to them on a deeper level. I don't know why. I loved the writing and the story line, but it was simply missing that connection which I strive to find in books.
Still, I really liked the story and I can't wait to see what Book 2 has to bring!

Exciting read that I truly enjoyed. Angelica has always be known as the preacher's daughter because that's exactly who she is the good girl who does what her parents wants and wears what they tell her. Unfortunately for them she has plans of her own an after getting into a argument with them she leaves out too bad her steps leaves her in the wrong place at the wrong time. Torq is the SOA of Rough Riders MC, a man with a fierce need to do what he wants when he wants. After coming to the rescue of Angelica and getting a good look he's mesmerized but once he find out who she is he decides he can't go there. To bad Angel leaves home and ends up right back in Torq's atmosphere, at first he's skittish but after a while all bets are off. This does end of a cliffhanger which actually pleasantly surprised me and I can't wait to see what will happen next.
Angel (Angelica) is just what the title says; the Preachers daughter. Not that she likes being told how to dress, how to wear her hair, which college she is to attend, but as accustom to her upbringing she respects her parents enough to obey their wishes. Until she doesn't.
Torq was following his own orders that fateful night, but they were far from the ones sweet Angelica were use to. He is the Sergeant at Arms of a MC who is going to show someone what happens when you don't respect those you do dealings with who don't always walk the right side of the law.
This being the first book from this author I've read I can say it won't be the last. I really like her writing style. The story flowed great. The characters were well described and not over produced, if you will. I can say the transformation of Angelica to Angel was kinda stretchy for the imagination when you think of how she grew up, but I suppose it could happen. Also, be prepared for some pretty dark subject matter as you get into the last half of this story. It had me tearing up a couple times when you realize just how desperate a soul can be when its suffocating in the dark. The ONLY thing I wished the author would've done differently about this book was add more to the ending. Meaning, to me I felt it ended slightly abruptly and wished she would've done an epilogue of the ending so we knew all were truly okay. But I'm sure in book 2 both Angel and Torq will have a showing so I'll get it then. All in all I give it 5 stars and I was given this book as an ARC for an honest review.
After being attacked Angelic knows she has to live her life away from her parents, getting an apartment and a job with what she likes to call dancing, she decides she needs a new name and look so Angelica becomes Angel. Angel can’t believe she see Dominic in the crowd, he’s not looking at her like when he first met her, his look is pure lust. She’s going to do what he did and not give him a second glance. Getting asked to do a private dance, she agrees, and heads to the bar, she’s cornered but sees her dark night come to save her again. Feeling Dominic, she can’t believe they are flirting but she needs to know what he wants, and he says to know her better. Finally, she agrees to a private dance with him. Deciding that she had to tell him who she was, she uses his word and that nothing would change, she’s a preacher’s daughter band walks away. Angel still doesn’t give Dominic time to explain, he walked away because he’s not good enough, he’s evil and she’s innocent and he tells her she should stay away from him. Torq continues to watch her dance although not talking to her, she’s knows things get out of control when they talk, her friend says to talk with her body. Dominic only had one night with Angel, only to wake up to her struggling with a man and see Georgie, the man he saved her from before, and he’s determined to get her back with the help of his brothers, but will he be in time, before something happens to her, will her dark knight save her in time. Can’t wait to read Amy and Iceman’s story.
The Preacher's Daughter is an emotional trip with so many highs and lows you are left feeling mixed up, but fine. I knew going in that this wouldn't be your run of the mill MC. At least the ones that are written. This MC deals in drugs and guns. They aren't scared to kill you if you double cross them. But they have a pretty strict rules on females. They don't sell them and they don't hurt them. After finding out one of their dealers in another state is kidnapping and selling women Torq is sent to clean it up. He runs into Angel getting the crap beat out of her after being in the wrong place at the wrong time. He saves her, then she saves him.
Angel is someone a lot of people can relate to. Being the preacher's daughter, she was controlled all her life. Then realized they continued to want to control her through her adult life. She's bitter, yeah, but instead of whining about it she runs away. As far as the bus will take her. She lives her new life to the absolute fullest. She's innocent, and has an edge to her. I fell in love quickly with her. She plays an amazing game of cat and mouse with Torq before finally allowing herself to be caught.
Great MC, great characters. I'm really excited to see Amy's book is next. She was the perfect best friend for Angel. It did get slow at a few parts, but it didn't take too much away from the story. All in all is was a solid read and one series that I look forward to following!
MC books are my undoing and I cannot want to read them. It's weird how your mind works. Mine is all over the place when I know that I have a new MC book waiting for me. Shelly Morgan is a new author to me, and when the opportunity aroused for me to read her books I didn't hesitate. Her writing is raw and wild, sweet, and hard around the edges. The Preacher's Daughter is the first book from the Rough Riders MC series and explores the lives of Angelica and Torq. Angelica is known for being the preacher's daughter. She always had her life planned out for her and that includes marriage, kids, and being a stay at home mom. One night out and... Torq is known to being a man that no-one messes with. He's the Sargent at Arms of the Rough Riders MC. One night at a strip club he sees someone from his past and... OMG, this book was intense, to say the least. Jesus... What happened? Great plot, well written, super dark, and engaging. Each chapter was even darker than the latest and I couldn't stop reading. Hit after hit, blow after blow, left me speechless and scared at the same time. One minute I was thinking that this game was going to be alright and the next I was almost into tears. This book explores something that I know happens and you should be aware of it. Not everything is a bed of roses, sometimes you must be careful with the thorns. Great book Shelly. Amazing. And I can't wait to read the next one.
*ARC* Is there anything more wicked than the epic supposed good girl, the preacher’s daughter, and the ultimate bad boy, a biker whose hands are far from clean? The Preacher’s Daughter is all of that and a lot more. From the start you can tell this is going to be one that will have you cheering for the good girl and hoping that the bad boy will get her to be oh so bad. Angelica aka Angel, well she does a complete 180 and proves that good girls can be bad too.
The chemistry between Torq and Angelica is very apparent from the start even if the way they meet is anything but ideal. Torq was an epic ass to Angelica and she won’t forget the words he says and the pain he causes her. When she sees him again let’s just say he doesn’t put two and two together. I love how she doesn’t just give in to me, she has a feistiness to her that is what may bring Torq to his knees.
When I got to the end and saw it was a cliffhanger I wasn’t upset I was more like aww man it was just getting really good and I want more! I am excited and curious to see how this will play out and will wait patiently for the next part. I hope the wait isn’t too long.
The Preacher’s Daughter by Shelly Morgan Angelica is the daughter of a preacher. Her parents are not interested in her. They want the good girl who they can control, until she finally decides she has had enough. After an argument, Angelica storms off to find herself in unstable territory where she gets assaulted. Dominic/Torq from the Rough Riders MC just happens to be the knight in shining armour or is he? Parting ways Angelica decides to run away and so begins her life until she bumps into Torq again. Overall this story was okay but had huge potential to be so much more. The story was told in Dual POV but unfortunately it was a recap, so it felt like a re-read. My other problem was that there was too much unnecessary information and not enough angst and build up to the romance story. The characters interaction was limited so you don’t feel the connection between them. Towards the end of the book, more interaction happened and then you are left on a cliff hanger. Overall I enjoyed it but had some issues. I am hoping that book two will show the full potential that this series has to offer. rated 2.5 Reviewed for Hot Books and Sassy Girls Book Blog
Triggers maybe if your offended by clinical descriptions. I will admit I was a stripper for 9 years before I turned my life around and never ever have I been to or worked at a club like what’s described in this book. Every club I have worked in if you turn a dance down you get fired. Because the house collects a percentage of the dance price. Every dancer I have ever met doesn’t choreograph her dances we go out the watch our selves in the mirror and only make eye contact with guys who we pray have money. We don’t base our outfits on a set we go for what looks hot and makes us feel good. Now if your a traveling showcase you might do these things but most strippers who are after the all mighty dollar do NOT! Most strippers aka DANCERS! Have daddy issues and or are girls trying to get through college. 90% of every dancer I have ever met is a victim of some type of abuse! So good girl turned dancer could happen but she had a good life ohhh she wasn’t allowed to dress how she wanted or do her hair how she wanted. Boohoo do you dang research talk to dancers get out of your box!
After Torq rescues Angelica from a bad situation, she ends up returning the favour just for him to insult her and walk away. Sick of being stifled by her parents and apparently everyone she meets when they realise who her father is, Angelica packs up and leaves, ending up in Reno and becoming "Angel". Co-incidentally, the place she lands her feet just happens to be owned by the Rough Riders MC; the club Torq is the Sergeant At Arms for. When Torq realises who Angel is, he faces a battle getting her to give him the time of day after the way he treated her, but when things finally start going his way, an enemy rears his head and throws everything into chaos.
This was a great first book for a series. Yes it may have taken it's time to build up their relationship but I thought it worked well being like that. I would have preferred a bit more to the ending as it just sort if finished with no what happened after, but maybe we will get to find out the "after it happened" stuff in the next book. All in all, I enjoyed this and I give the Preacher's Daughter 4 stars.
This is a very violent book which didn't brother me at first however it did by the end. By no means is it because of the content just the way it was delivered. I felt it was incomplete and unrealistic. We see a good good girl trying to be different than the label that has befallen her since she was born. She meets the bad boy and realized nothing will change until she makes it happen. I loved this part. The way she changes her life and made positive changes was really admirable. The next part I had a problem with. I felt that when she got kidnapped we would see more involvement with the club but we didn't really see that. The MC guy just sat around wallowing in his anger. Why?? I didn't understand that not believe that a sergeant in arms just sitting there letting others lead. Then we have his supposed friends asking for help but he ignores them because of his own shot uh huh like I would believe that... It was gets more unrealistic from there. I was disappointed and probably won't continue because of the ending and the next book deals with her friend Amy.
An interesting read...not at all what I expected. This story is in essence rather different from your usual MC books. It’s about testing boundaries, finding freedom and control and in the end the darkness experienced when that control is ripped from you.
I really enjoyed the game Torq and Angel played with one another in the beginning almost like a game of cat and mouse. It was endearing and amusing. They are two damaged souls that, with a twist of fate, collided.
I struggled a bit towards the middle/end of the book, where a huge twist gets thrown in. The story almost became another book entirely, which wasn’t necessarily bad, but rather unexpected. However, I found that there were gaps in the story and towards the end of the book I expected more of a conclusion. With the way things were left it feels like there ought to be a second book.
Outside from that this book was enjoyable, although rather dark and horrifying at times, it had its sweet and aww worthy moments.
