Werewolf investigators. Mind control. Faerie politics. Kidnappings...Just another day in Las Vegas.
Private investigator—and secret werewolf—Derek Ranier has been hired to track a thief. But when he tracks down escaped faerie Citrine Avonmora, he’s drawn into an ages-old contest for control of the faerie kingdom…and his heart is on the line.
Citrine Avonmora just wants out. She's tired of being a pawn in the unfathomable political games of the fae. But when she escapes to the human world, she finds more than she bargained for. Like love.
Faerie magic meets werewolf strength in the second book in the Supernaturals of Las Vegas series.
First, I wasn’t sure I was ready to read a book about people other than Liss and Gregor from the first book - but it turns out I love Citrine and Derek that I was totally fine with it!
Second, I loved this book even more than the first.
And third, there was more “heat” in this one than the first, but totally appropriate for the characters and not TOO much, in my opinion.
