This fourth installment to the series is without a doubt the most twisted story line yet! The prologue itself is its own hellish tale of mind bending sorrow, treachery and betrayal. There’s stories inside of stories.
Theology Jones (Thea) lived with her father, stepmother and three older stepsisters. Thea’s mother died when she was only 4 months old.
Her father, Dr. Adam Barnabus Jones, worked at the university. That is until he went to prison as a serial killer and Thea, as his accomplice was sent to juvenile. No one believed her that it was wolves at the laboratory, not people... but Thea has huge blanks in her childhood memories. Did she help her father murder all those people? And then there’s the weird visions and dreams...Later, needing a fresh start due to her infamous father’s very public trial, Thea legally changed her name from Theology Jones to Thea Wilson.....

Just picture Jax Teller from ‘Sons of Anarchy’ and you’d be seeing Kalev. Being lusted after by every female out there isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. In fact, it gets depressing as hell because he has a weird psychic ability....When in my proximity, people involuntarily blurt out whatever they’re thinking. They can’t help themselves. What’s even weirder is this supernatural ability doesn’t work on Thea!
His instincts have him taking the ten-hour, 600-mile ride on his Harley -Davidson from Vancouver, B.C. to Calgary, Alberta. His sole focus is on Thea. His beast is a strong-willed creature and in his simple animal mind, what is, is. Thea is their mate.
He has a condo waiting for him that’s near Thea’s apartment.
This is the third time he’s returned, but the war is over....Thea, his lifelong companion. His true mate. He belongs to her, as she belongs to him. Now, he’s just got to get her to accept their bond. With the lithe, nimble form of a dancer, she works Friday and Saturday night as security....Then their eyes lock.... and you’re thinking, okay, now it’s gonna be all romance and such. Nope. Not yet anyway...I’m so glad that I read the first three books because pretty much everyone and two wolf packs are getting into the fray here at some point. There’s a jail break, a kidnaping, and heinous experiments. Then secrets are exposed. Truths come to light. And it turns out that Thea is so much more than human. I so recommend this to 18+ due to adult content.

Very few times a book has had me hooked after the first chapter... until this one.
A twist that threw me sideways that cause me to forget all life and its duties until I had devoured the entire book.
A dark and twisted soul, Thea has a past that we are only given a glimpse into, but just enough to see beyond that mask she wears. But like all real woman, she is dynamic. Sassy and a strong female lead who doesn't buckle when a male comes along. She stands her ground and saves herself.
Oh, the things I want to say about Kelav but I have to hold myself back! I won't ruin the story with my spoilers, but I have to say its so exciting to read such refreshing characters.
Excited and can't wait for the next book!

A great book that's surprisingly intelligent, thought-provoking, & feeling-evoking. This series is entertaining and fun but also heart-warming, intensely exciting and well-written. Nikki Sex does it again!
Another fun, interesting book with surprising depth, heart, steamy sex & wit. I highly recommend this book & the entire series.

“I love, love, love this book!! It captivated me from the very start. Nikki Sex is a gifted writer and storyteller, her imagination is brilliant. She creates & takes the reader into a world of magical creatures, shifters, sorcerers, vampires, psychics and more. They live amongst us humans, which makes the story seem realistic and relatable. The lead characters, Thea and Kalev, are interesting and likable. Remarkable character development and buildup, it was great finding out more about each and watching how everything unfolds. Lots of excitement, drama, twists and yes hot romance! “Demon Wolf” may be the 4th book in the “Demon Blessed” series but the 1st one I read. I enjoyed it as a standalone, so much so I will definitely be reading the first three books. Nikki Sex, thank you for this wonderful story!
I listened to the audio edition, narrated by the amazingly talented Sarah Puckett. As always she never disappoints, she performs the voices of all the different characters, making each distinguishable & easy to follow. She sets a perfect tone and pace for the story which enhances an already great story to the next level. Thank you for another great listen!

I listened to the audiobook version of this book.
Of the Demon Blessed series, this one can be listened to as a standalone where the first three books of the series are not good as standalone novels. The author did a great job of pulling me into Thea and Kalev's story. Thea's past is tragic in its nature and leaves her thinking she is hallucinating and crazy. It is fascinating to see how the author ties all of the events in Thea's past to Kavel and the whole Demon Blessed universe. I love the magnetism and passion between Thea and Kalev and I feel as though the author did a great job developing them as characters.
Sarah Puckett is easily one of my favorite narrators. I haven't come across anything she has narrated that I haven't loved. She is the kind of narrator that I would buy a book by an unknown author because I know if she is narrating it, then it has to be good. Just as with the first three books of the Demon Blessed series, Sarah does not disappoint. She provides another fabulous performance in this book and really brings out the passion between Kalev and Thea.

Please Please Please Nikki Sex, I need you to put book 5 on audio. I am so tempted to continue reading the books on my kindle or something. But the audios for all five books were FAN-Friggin-tastic!!!! Initially, I was a little disappointed when I realized that this book didn't focus on Jan. But after a few chapters, I realized that Thea might actually be my twin soul (lol). My first boyfriend said a very similar thing that Kalev said. He said he loved my bad attitude and he thought it was sexy as hell. I haven't thought about that in years. But that is exactly what an amazing author does. The characters are all so relatable. And considering that they are vamps, werewolf, and demon blessed, that couldn't have been easy. And I LOVE this narrator. The book I just started also happens to be narrated by Sarah Puckett. She is fantastic. She must have a similar taste in books as me because she has narrated a ton that I have listened to. And she was just as amazing as always. I am definitely a huge fan! Please, Nikki, make me another Demon Blessed audiobook!

This next book in the serie turns for a totally new character, though the writing style and overall feeling is mostly the same.
The narrator is different from the first 3 books, which helps a lot is separating the characters wile at the same time keeps the same tone of the serie.
In the beginning this seams like a completely independent story of a woman with a problematic past that is courted by her fated mate werewolf, but bit by bit we get to understand how this all connects with the previous books and characters.
This one is a very good story with an interesting plot and amazing new characters, and I can see Nikki Sex writing qualities improving with every new book.
I'm curious about the rest of the serie and if there will be more interaction between all the characters in the series.

This is the fourth book in the Demon Blessed Series, and this is a great addition to the Series. This story can be listened as a standalone, but you don't want to miss the first books. Sarah Puckett did an amazing job with the narration, as always! I received this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

I really like this new story with Kalev and Thea. It was so interesting to learn about her heritage, but I'm a little disappointed how rushed the realizations came. I also didn't get any plotlines where her powers were used. Also Ronan needs more... and not to mention I didn't get any story about Leonidas and Milicent. I really do hope there are more books planned.

Demon Wolf (Demon Blessed #4) was a good read by Nikki Sex. Thea was raised by her serial killer father. She craves connection but knows that love isn't an option for her. She won't risk getting too close to anyone else. She never expected that Kalev would find a way to sneak into her heart. I enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to read more by the author.

I enjoyed the idea of the story, but found myself skipping through too much of it to give this a higher rating. There was too much repetitive and rambling introspection and internal monologue to not find my mind wondering away from what I was struggling to read.

Although this is book four it is the first I have listened to. I had no problems with this book as a Stand-alone but sometimes there were references that had me very interested into getting the previous books to see what happened. Narration as always with Sarah was amazing!

Finally I was able to enjoy this. Narrator did a fabulous job. The story was definitely a lot better than the others. More captivating. I don’t know it’s just my opinion and I hope you enjoy as much as I did.

Demon Wolf is an amazing story of lies, deception, sadness, a maniacal father who sets his daughter up for crimes she didn’t commit, while concealing his own deviant behavior, and the man who helped her find her way out of the chaos her life had become.
I loved the way this author tied this series together more loose ends are unraveled.
Sarah Puckett again narrated this story and brought this characters to life.
