When I am not doing that I am with my children or studying. I have a lifelong love of learning too.
I live in the North of England. It's a little chilly here and a little wet, but it is what I call home and where pretty much all of my stories are based.

Mason's magic continues with Crystal and Jason
Magic, mystery, suspense, humour and twits are all found within the pages of Mason Sabre's latest instalment to his Society Series. Martial Magic is a novella, but don't let that fool you, Mr Sabre packs a lot of punch into his stories, and this one will definitely knock you out. I was fully entranced as I followed the magical path that Mason weaved with his story of Crystal, a witch whose powers are diminishing, and Jason, a shifter wolf, a stray, who is searching for his sister who has mysteriously disappeared.
Enjoy Mason's humour that he sprinkles throughout his story, I don't think that I will ever forget his "gum" scene. Discover the magic of his words as you follow Crystal and Jason in their search. Unravel the reason for the connection between them. Why does Jason affect Crystal and her powers? What is the mystery behind Shayla's disappearance? With so many twists and turns, I was totally enthralled with Mason's tale, just when you think you know what is going on he has the ability to lead you off into another direction.
Yet another magical addition to Mason's world of Society. Prepare to be spellbound by Mason's vivid descriptions and his mastery of the alphabet, that will transport you to his world of shifters, witches, fae and humans. Even though this book can be read as a standalone, I highly recommend that you read the other books in this series. Once you start you won't want to put them down.

DRAGGED EVERY EMOTION I HAD
Jason shows up on Crystals' door step in the early morning hours. She's a seeker and a witch. His sister ( pack mate ) has gone missing and requires her magic to find her. Because of her ability to be a seeker, if Crystal keeps using this particular gift, her well, will dry up and will no longer be able to use her magic. Crystal soon realizes that Jason keeps her well, on.a constant abundance of magic, overflowing. She soon discovers that she is up against dark magic and Jason is able to keep her grounded, while searching for his pack mate.
This book made me laugh,cry, romance, suspense, edge of my seat, action and didn't want it to end, kind of book thriller. What a great addition to the Society series. I'm hoping that Crystals' gifts come in handy, to bringing certain characters back where they belong. I want more

Another fantastic part of Mason's Society Series. This is another fan novella which Mason expertly adds to the series.
Martial Magic is about a witch called Crystal who really isn't practising at the moment as her magic is dwindling and she needs to save it, but Jason, a wolf shifter knocks on her door needing her help in her role as a seeker to help find his lost sister.
Throughout the story, Crystals and Jason's connection grows.
As always with a Mason Sabre story you are pulled in right from the start, I really don't know how he manages to keep us all entranced, but he does.
Can't wait for more of this series and I hope it carries on for a long time as I would really like to see it go on and on.

Ok, this is a first for me to say this about a Mason Sabre book. It totally was a paranormal mystery novella (Which I love). Usualy his books are edge of your seat reads. I mean it was exciting but more mystery for me. Damn I'm not making any sense lol. All I know is that I LOVED this book. I was going "hmmmm" a lot. Trying to figure it out before I continued. But once again, this is what makes him a fantastic author. If Mason doesn't want you to figure it out until he's ready, then that's what he'll do.
Trying to collect all the clues and coming up with the answers. Of who done it and where and how many were involved. Oh how I love books like this.
The ending? All I can say is "Awwwww" it made me teary eyed. Really loved the ending. Can't wait for the next one!!

This is a story about a witch, Crystal, whose magic is nearly depleted. She is approached by a young wolf shifter named Jason. He needs her help as a Seeker to find his kidnapped sister. Some of the other characters from The Society Series pop up in the story, including Raven and Cade.
I really identified with Crystal because she is asked to do something good which may prove very harmful to herself. Having to choose over ourselves or others is often a hard decision. I like the surprise that awaits Crystal when she makes her decision.
I really enjoyed this book. While set in a paranormal urban fantasy world, the emotions are so real and true to life. Anyone who likes paranormal romance involving witches and shifters will love this book. Great job again, Mason Sabre.

Mason Sabre never disappoints! He manages to find new and creative ways to keep The Society Series going and keeps his readers coming back! One of the many talents of this author is that he can pack a full 'novel sized story line" into a novella. Martial Magic brings the reader two very interesting characters, Jason and Crystal, who form an undeniable bond while searching for answers amid the mysterious and dangerous life of others in a human world. As I have come to expect from this author, he entwines real struggles with a powerfully engaging paranormal tale. I highly recommend this series!!!!

Mason is one of those talented authors that can not just take you to his world, he reaches through the book, grabs you and sucks you in, where before you know it you FEEL like you belong in the world that he has created.
This book is a branch off his Society series. Mason has given his fans the opportunity to become a character in his world. And what an amazing opportunity to have!
As someone who has never been a big fan of shifter books, Mason has absolutely sold me on his. I have loved every single character he has created and they all have a toe dipped somewhere in this world of OTHERS.

Martial Magic is the latest in the Society Series by Mason Sabre. Once again Mason is able to transport the reader into his paranormal world of the Others and Humans. The story of Crystal and Jason is pure magic and full of raw emotion. Martial Magic is a Sabre Short, that pulls the reader in from page one till the very end with its twists and turns. Mason Sabre’s writing is very unique and unlike many other paranormal stories. It will truly leave the reader wanting more of this fantastic series.

Wow!! Magic, mystery, trouble, excitement.. Yup, that's some of what you'll get to experience while reading this story! Mason Sabre is a brilliant writer, he will drawl you in with every word he writes! Crystal a Seeker Witch who was happy and content in keeping to herself. Jason a wolf shifter stray is in need, shows up at her door asking for her help to find his sister who came up missing. These two are bound by magic from the beginning till the end. This book is an amazing, must read! Loved it so much!!

Mason continues to enthrall me with his words, sucking me into his world of 'Others'. I'm not as versed with the characters as many, but I love seeing or hearing about familiar characters. The crumbs he gives to almost answer a question, while still leaving you going hmmm make it that much for fun and intriguing.
This world is so rich and full, and Martial Magic is just the next morsel. It may be a novella but there is so much packed in. At the same time it leaves you wanting more, anxiously waiting for the next story, so you can see what is going to happen next.

Captivating Short
I wasn’t sure how or where this story would go when I first started reading.. but I was bewitched and the words took over. The writing is magical .. the storyline will entrance you.. the characters are smitten.. Read the story and become spellbound in this Other World.

Whew! Intense doesn't even begin to describe this book. The writing is phenomenal, drawing you in page by page, I had to finish it in one sitting, because I NEEDED to know what was going to happen and putting it down was not an option. I loved Crystal and Jason, each is clearly defined and oh so wonderful. Fabulous book Mason Sabre!

When sometimes help shave to go to the right place and the right person. So we needed a seeker to see what happened to our friend. See she disappeared and so not like her. But what happens when the touching is magical and you can see stuff you normally don't? You run to find things. Loved the story and hope they are in future books.

The saga continues. Another step into Author Mason Sabre"s "Other" world ... and it is magical. Jason, a wolf shifter and Crystal, a witch, set off on a hunt filled with suspence, twist and turns, and a connection neither saw coming. This author has a way of weaving a story that leaves you spellbound and wanting him to tell you more stories!

This author never disappoints. His story lines are filled with depth and characters that make you apart of the world he creates. One of my go to paranormal authors I highly recommend picking up one of his books if you haven't already. Be warned you might end up like I did, binge reading almost his entire collection.

This Novella was one of my favorites by Mason Sabre. Martial Magic had the right amount of humor, chemistry, mystery and as with all Sabre books, excited to get your hands on the next book to come out.

Another fab book in this series! We are now finding more characters and their stories. Nice to have a little visit with Cade too. This is just another case of crossed so working together and how horrid humans really are!
