Selene Kallan is a fantasy author who daydreams about her imaginary worlds most of the time. Her obsession with vampires, and all things supernatural, has made her an avid reader. She loves writing, discovering new metal bands, and watching superhero movies. She is also feeling a little crazy while writing about herself in third person, but apparently, this is the way to go.

What a great 2nd book.

Wow I had read the 1st book and I loved this one also. Again the author had a great story to tell. The advancement in the 2 main characters was amazing. Both Nick and Dahilia had suffered loss, tragedy and a past they both want to forget. They are living a normal or what they think is normal lives. The sad thing is they are both broken. And maybe their destinies will bring them together. They may find a happy life together. Then they may not. To find out you will need to read this book. I highly recommend this book. It was so well written and hooked me from the first book . I am hoping there may be a book .3. I recommend this as a must read !!!!!!!

Broken(Immortal Heritage)0.5 is a prequel to Starlight the first book in the series. It introduces us to the main characters to come, but only hints at their abilities etc. Without giving anything away. It pulls you in fast and you can’t stop reading until you get to the end, at which time you need to start reading Starlight right away. Broken is one of the best prequels I’ve ever read. I couldn’t put it down and left me wanting more. I recommend this book to anyone, even is you’re not into this genre this will change your mind.

This is a great intro into a book series that I have read so far! With a little background for the people that we will learn about more in book one without giving too much away. I like that the author didn’t come out right away with what powers each person has like other books that I have read. This makes me want to read book one even more! The author did a great job of giving me as the reader enough info to keep me wanting more. The layout of the book is great and makes for an easy read. I would recommend this book to my book friends.

Even though it's short, it gives you a sample of what's coming up and helps you decide if you want to read the next one. I good author and is willing to show her work before hand and leaves you wanting to read the next one

Broken is a short prequel to Starlight which gives us a brief but insightful introduction into the lives of Nick and Dahlia prior to their move to Lakeport.

Although we are given a taste of their abilities, we are not told what they actually are. Readers need to read Starlight to find out what happens next and I for one can’t wait!

Broken is a prequel that gives you a look at what is ahead. It gives you details about the main characters, like their abilities and powers. It gives you information about their pasts. It leads you to want more. I am going to read the rest of the books in this series.
